The room was clean and cozy, with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and cutlery. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is conveniently located on a small street next to City Hall, just a five-minute walk to the tram station. It's a building constructed in 1880, which once served as the Victoria Coffee Palace. On the mezzanine floor, there are some 19th-century antique items displayed in two cabinets. The triple room isn't huge, but it was sufficient for two adults and one child. The room was very clean, though the sliding door in the shower had a minor issue. Slippers and drinking water are not provided in the room, but you can get water from the dispenser on the mezzanine floor, which is convenient enough. There was a strange noise from the air conditioning at night, and someone came to fix it after we reported it. We stayed for three days, and the breakfast didn't change at all, offering both English and Chinese options, as shown in the picture. Overall, it was decent, but those with high expectations for breakfast should consider other options."

"Only positive impressions remained. Cozy and convenient location. An excellent combination of bedrooms with balconies and common areas. The interior and exterior ambiance are a perfect 10 out of 10. I especially liked the kitchen, equipped with everything necessary. Perhaps the only thing I'd suggest adding is a BBQ area."

"There was a communication breakdown from Devine escape. The hotel is supposed to send me an sms prior to my check-in, however despite my email, and calls, I did not receive any updates from them. Only upon arrival at the hotel, we can’t find any ways to call the receptionist. Luckily, the caretaker saw us and help us with the check in process. However, there was no apology from the hotel. So that was a bit disappointing."

"i got the corner room which i feel is certainly sizeable for my room type. the room is clean and up to my standards, including the bedsheets and duvet. in terms of location, it's in the heart of the cbd and an absolute bargain for the price point. it's about a 2-3 minute walk from the tram stop but do take note it's a slight uphill, nothing crazy though. there's also food options just below the hotel which is extremely convenient. the service is excellent with friendly staff. in terms of amenities, it has the basics - cups, towels, etc. the water heater seems a little faulty as it fluctuates between cool and warm but again, this is something i find manageable."

"I chose this place because it's close to Phillip Island. Honestly, the whole place was more rundown than I expected. The room was acceptable, but not very clean or tidy. The bedding looked clean, but the facilities were poor. For a one-night stay, it was still okay."

"I stayed for 2 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The person in charge at the counter was helpful in explaining the cabin location and providing necessary information, making the check-in process smooth. The cabin itself was clean, and all the kitchen equipment was complete, which made our stay comfortable. However, I noticed that the facilities for kids were not as extensive as in other Big4 parks. The nearest town is Cowes around 15mins by car. Overall, it was an okay stay."

"I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Westmeadows for the second time and once again I wasn't disappointed. The whole process was seamless, from choosing my standard of room to phoning them on my arrival at Melbourne airport and phoning for their complementary shuttle bus service I had a 10 minute wait for the nice shuttle bus driver and when you arrive at reception after a 5 minute trip you are greeted by the most friendly team. My room poolside was absolutely spotless and had everything I needed for the night. It was also very quiet despite being close to a busy road. I had buffet breakfast which had a good selection plus surprisingly good coffee from a little machine. I had a very pleasant chat with the lovely lady who runs the buffet. Just a quick 5 minute walk up the road are a few good eateries and a little further along a couple of fast food places. I really can't fault the place or the staff and confidently recommend it to anyone wanting the convenience of a place to stay close to the airport at a good price."

The hotel's location is excellent, right in front of an MRT station, making transportation very convenient. There's also a small convenience store and a mala tang restaurant nearby. The main source of noise comes from the adjacent parking garage, where people sometimes chat, get drunk, and shout. Generally, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff are also very willing to provide whatever you need. Plus, having a small kitchenette is a bonus, and you can exchange or borrow a hairdryer. For the price, it definitely offers good value. So, for the other aspects like noise, wearing earplugs helps, and the cleanliness is also up to par.

1. **Cleanliness:** The room was quite clean, basically spotless, making for a very comfortable stay. 2. **Environment:** The overall environment is excellent. There's a laundry room, and a separate restroom on the first floor that guests can use even after checking out. The location is also fantastic – just a short walk from Southern Cross Station, with a tram stop nearby. It's only a three or four stop ride to Flinders Street Station. 3. **Service:** The service was decent. I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff, but basic English was sufficient. 4. **Facilities:** Everything else was great, except for the showerhead. The water pressure was very low, and it was a rainfall-style shower with a wide spray angle. For women under 180cm, it's hard to reach the water when it's initially strong, and by the time it reaches you, it's barely a drizzle. It made showering quite uncomfortable.

Location: easy 3-6 min walk to Southern Cross station and the skybus station which made reaching the hotel from melbourne airport extremely convenient (~40 mins). It's close to many cozy and prolific cafés for breakfast/brunch, lunch. Ease of access to gift shops, electronics, and post boxes as well. Amenities: Gym is available. Laundry with washers and dryers are also available but prepare coins. Security: Staffed during the day, and the automatic doors in the main hotel entrance could only be opened with keycards at night. Good safety. Service: Hospitable staff. Had issues with my room and they were happy to assist. Room: I booked the single room. Quaint and tiny. Room's very dark and quiet at night. Great sleep. Bathroom is equipped with heat lamps and exhaust fans which made super comfortable for a winter stay. Didn't use the AC much but I tried it out just to see that it worked. Runs well even though it's a bit noisy if you're sleeping. Towels and sheets mostly clean. I noticed some stains on the bedding once but otherwise good.

The receptionist wasn’t very friendly. Easy check in. Plenty of parking space. Room was basic but clean. Insulation of the room was not good. It was cold as we can feel the cold air entering the room from the window and door edges. Heater wasn’t functioning. Easy check out. Location ok. Not worth for the price we paid.

We stayed for one night and found the self-check-in and check-out process very easy and convenient. It was also great to have a dedicated parking space for each car. The interior was a bit loud, with a ”school trip” or ”auntie style” vibe, but everything was functional. We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the heating mats in the bed, which were a nice touch for the colder weather. Overall, it was a good, practical stay.

Stayed six nights in a 6-bed mixed dorm with shared bathroom. The location is the main selling point — right in the CBD, walking distance to Melbourne Central and the free tram zone, so getting around the city is easy. Staff were helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. The room and shared bathrooms were kept reasonably clean, though with six people sharing, tidiness depends a lot on who you’re rooming with. Facilities cover the basics — lockers, kitchen, rooftop area — functional rather than luxurious, which is about what you’d expect at this price point. Overall

Pros: 1. location close to city 2. breakfast on site 3. free parking Cons: no reception staff at 8am or after 6pm, the notice on wall is to 7pm, have to wait 10 mins for staff to come from somewhere bit of unclean in detail but acceptable for the price
