"Nice hotel, although having the bar open late to 2am from Friday to Saturday & 4am on Saturday to Sunday meant a constant flow of people either arriving or leaving, some must have been wearing clogs or diving boots, as the noise was unbearable....kept me awake until 5am Sunday morning & our room was at the opposite end of the building from the bar. The bar snacks were good, breakfast on Monday took nearly 45mins to arrive, so coffee was already finished 35mins previously! Not certain if it's true, but there was a photography session ongoing on the ground floor on Monday, the photographer was also the chef, so suggest the chef books his photography sessions once his chef duties are completed...just a suggestion...not sure who does the ratings, but seems to me hotels can claim to be anything they want...this was more 3* than 5* from my experiences"

"The Swim Room offers a great view and semi-private pool. However, we stayed during the weekday so it seems like we had the pool exclusively to ourselves. Rated 3 stars for cleanliness because the tissue on our bedside table has that undesirable smell. Glass sliding doors are not regularly wiped clean because there are still marks left maybe from past guests. On a positive note, I'd like to commend the staff for their warm welcome and immediate response and action whenever they are called upon. Moreover, we loved the food served to us for our supper brought to our room up to our buffet breakfast. They have lots of food choices and different types of drinks. Also, the pool is well-maintained but I hope they clean it earlier before guests are allowed to swim. Overall, we had our money's worth during our stay at Hudor Resort."

"The staffs were accommodating. They assisted us with our baggage to our room. The room amenities are great with a pair of robe for comfort. Suggest that there should be 2 chairs for comfort when 2 guest are sipping hot coffee in the morning.
The breakfast was great with delicious suman as dessert. The guard assisted my wife to the parking lot with his umbrella as it was already hot when we checked out at about 10am."

Service is also nice. The room is clean but take note since it is a classic hotel the floor is made of wood and there is a loud sound everytime your will walk in the floor. I didn’t upload the hotel inside but I did upload photos pf what you will see as soon as you step out of the hotel. They have kalesa/carriage at the front of the hotel. GGuest UserThe Swim Room offers a great view and semi-private pool. Overall, we had our money's worth during our stay at Hudor Resort.

GGuest UserThe place has a lot of potential, and we had a generally pleasant stay. The staff were accommodating, and we appreciated their flexibility with both check-in and check-out. They also provided bellboy assistance for our luggage upon arrival and departure, and the check-out process was quick and hassle-free.
However, the property could benefit from better maintenance and housekeeping. Some of the door knobs were broken, and the restroom doors had no locks. We also requested assistance to fix the restroom drainage and remove a frozen cockroach from the refrigerator, but unfortunately, no one attended to these concerns before we checked out.
Since the weather was bad during our stay, we ended up spending most of our time inside the accommodation, making the condition and cleanliness of the room even more important. I hope the management prioritizes regular maintenance and improves room cleanliness to provide a better guest experience.
Overall, despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

GGuest UserThe reception was good. It was a smooth transaction when I arrived. The room was hot when I got into it. I found that the staff wasn’t trained properly & seems like I have to ask for every thing. I was there for 4 days & they never replenished my water bottle. The bed was a bit hard but comfortable enough. The breakfast was ok.
I was very disappointed when I had to ask numerous times for my change when I booked a boat through them to go to hundred islands. I paid 500 pesos for convenience fee for them to organise the trip & evrytime I asked for my change back they keep telling me that they have to ask the boatman first, then the guard, then the department of tourism and various excuses. I didn’t get a direct answer until the next day. I trusted them to do the transaction smoothly that’s the reason I paid for the convenience fee. I would’ve done the job myself & preferred to give the boatman the 500 pesos as he really looked after me for the whole day. The hotel is Brand new but needs some more decor in the room & have an air conditioning working in the lift & the foyer. The restaurant staff wasn’t as friendly but accomodating. They seems all so uptight & doesn’t practice common sense. The most disappointing part of my stay is the designated smoking area. It was in the motorcycle parking lot & way out, outside of the hotel. I didn’t feel safe going out for a smoke as it’s also a bit dark & there’s rubbish everywhere. The ashtray was full of other rubbish & the garbage bin was full for all the time I was there. I’m writing this all as a productive criticism for an improvement for my next stay & for other guests that will be staying in the future. Otherwise the hotel is nice, great pool overlooking the hundred islands the gym was ok . The hotel transfer was also nice but I have to asked first. I hope it’ll be better next time I stay. Thank you so much! 😊

AAnonymous UserThe hotel and room looks clean in a glance - until you spend hours in it. I found some cheese crumbs under our bed when we didn't eat inside our room. There are also flies and mosquitoes in the room. Other than that, the casa is clean in general.
The location is excellent - walking distance to almost any points in the city center.
Service is good. The staffs are friendly. Breakfast is superb.
It would have been the best hotel if not for some of these lapses. TV reception isn't great. WiFi in the room is sometimes weak. The hinge of the cabinet in the room is loose already that it creates a creaking sound every time we open it. The bathroom floor in the PWD room is slippery. Although there were guest kits and towels provided, it would have been nice if there was a dedicated bathroom slippers. The ceiling has mildew and mark that paint is being removed. Other than that, the AC is nice, the bed and blanket are comfy. There are lots of electric sockets in the room. The room is on the first floor and pretty quiet at night. You can only hear the voices of people walking along the hallways which is pretty normal.
Despite all these observations, I would still want to book here in the future. The experience is still good.

RRiri DayaoWe had a great stay at Chalaroste Place! The place and location is great, we especially loved watching the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful. The parking area is spacious, the BBQ grill and outdoor space were perfect for spending time together at night, and the beds were comfy with clean linens and very cold air-conditioning.
A couple of things that could be improved: the swimming pool area needs better lighting at night as it gets really dark, and the bathroom could use a more thorough cleaning (though there was no foul smell). Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with a great view and relaxing ambiance and few minutes from the Public Beach.
