The room was great, exceptionally clean and hygienic. The front desk lady was very nice, providing excellent and enthusiastic service. The space was large and very comfortable to sleep in. Plus, it had a window for ventilation, which is great for air quality, as many hotels in Macau don't have windows. Late check-out was also a plus. There's a restaurant downstairs and even a massage place. It was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍

The room was very clean and spacious, and the three beds were quite roomy. However, I couldn't reach the front desk by phone. The hot water supply was plentiful, and the location was excellent, with many bus stops nearby and a short walk to St. Paul's Ruins. There was construction going on nearby, so it was a bit noisy during the day. At night, there were occasional 'thud thud' sounds from the floor, which disturbed my sleep.

This is a very new hotel with excellent hygiene. The facilities are comprehensive, and though the rooms are small, they are very well-designed, including a safe and a refrigerator. There are 8 rooms per floor, and the ones facing the street offer a partial sea view. You could try requesting a street-facing room from the staff. There are many restaurants and a supermarket nearby. I think it's great.

Convenient Stay in the Heart of the City We stayed one night at Towns Well Motel and had a pleasant experience. The motel is in a strategic location, surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants, and local eateries, making it very convenient for travelers. Within a 10-minute walk, you can easily enjoy shopping at popular stores such as SaSa, Nike, Adidas, and Puma, as well as explore the nearby food and beverage options. The room was spacious enough for a comfortable stay, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable and conveniently located accommodation for a short stay.

The Caravel Hotel listing on Google maps is not very clear, and we reached the wrong one first. They guided us to the correct address, which was about 1 kilometre away. So, when you search for it on the GPS maps, do make sure that you compare it with the Chinese Characters also. (卡爾酒店) (Tip: this is near the Sofitel Hotel Macau at Ponte 16.) About the hotel, yes, it is smallish, yes, it is rated 2 stars. Yet, the rooms were comfortable. Not cramped like in Hong Kong. And as good (if not better) than many 3-star hotels in Mainland China. The desk staff were extremely helpful, polite and proactive. Macau being small, the roads are single lanes in the interior parts, with one-way streets regulating traffic. Though the arterial roads are having flowing traffic both ways. This is a few meters in the interior. Bounded by one-way streets. This is an advantage while walking as the sidewalk is very safe. Now location: This place is just six minutes walking distance to the first tourism spot we went to, the Ruins of St Paul's. Several tourism spots are just a few meters away from the St Paul's. We took in the major historical related sights just walking along. Cleanliness: Top class. Service: Desk was top notch. We never came across any housekeeping, but our rooms were neat when we returned as expected. There were bottles of water, but with a note to use the dispenser on the ground floor to refill. Environment. Facilities: There was a gym adjoining it but was closed permanently (I guess). There are no facilities in the hotel itself. There is a small cafe adjacent, which serves hybrid food, which was very convenient. There is also a small Chinese style restaurant just behind it. Scattered nearby are a few convenience stores. A good experience on the whole. The photos attached are to give you an idea of the environment. Not of the hotel.

The disposable bed sheets, duvet covers, and towels were of very poor quality. I strongly recommend replacing them with standard ones. The room wasn't ventilated, so there was a musty smell when I first checked in. Overall, it was not a good experience.

My stay here was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was great. What impressed me most was the front desk staff – they were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were both very efficient. It really made me feel welcome. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

This is already my third stay at this hotel, according to my records. I pretty much stay here every time I come for a concert. The price is relatively affordable, it's clean and hygienic, and there are many great food options nearby. It's also very conveniently located, with plenty of buses going towards both the Ruins of St. Paul's and Taipa.

The hotel's bedding and toiletries were all disposable, which felt very hygienic, and the disposable bath towels were surprisingly thick – you can tell they put thought into their procurement. The room floors were sparkling clean. The front desk staff were also very warm and patient in their communication. For this price, the hotel offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend everyone stay here; it's close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and other attractions. Oh, and to the right when you exit the hotel, there's a breakfast spot run by an old lady. You have to walk a bit, but her dim sum is really authentic. I saw many elderly gentlemen eating there. The portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable. This morning, two of us ate 4 dishes for only 68 RMB.

Great location, very close to Hong Kung Night Market and restaurants. The only downsides are that the shower curtain is too narrow, making it easy for water to splash out when showering, and there's no refrigerator. The air conditioning works very well, and we even received a small gift upon check-in. Highly recommended! 👍
