The atmosphere was genuinely welcoming and relaxed and the location is great, but the hygiene is not really good for the bathroom, there is a weak water flow for the shower, and the hotel reception was in the bar, and the rooms were above the bar, making it a bit noisy at night. This hostel don't have any common areas; you either went out or stayed in the dorm. They didn't even provide shower gel or shampoo.

Wakeup Copenhagen - Carsten Niebuhrs Gade: After a nightmare stay at City Hotel Nebo (Istedgade 6, 1650 København V, Denmark) where I couldn't sleep and my skin was itching due to dirty conditions including hair in the sink and no hygiene products available, Wakeup Copenhagen was my salvation. Immaculate cleanliness, modern minimalist room on 8th floor with marvelous city view, comfortable bed where I finally slept after 48 hours of exhaustion, clean shower with good water pressure, good quality breakfast, very good reception lobby, perfect location near Dybbølsbro Station (500m) and easy access to Copenhagen Bus Terminal for my FlixBus, excellent value at €62-70. Rating: 9/10. Compared to City Hotel Nebo (-3/10), this was heaven. The contrast was shocking - from dirty and uncomfortable to clean, modern, and peaceful. This hotel saved my trip and gave me the rest I needed to enjoy my last day in Copenhagen. Absolutely recommended for solo travelers who value cleanliness! Great place and location! Downstairs is busy with activities if you want to meet people, but the dorms are actually really quiet. Bed is comfy, would perhaps suggest a small curtain to close the pod if possible.

Overall, it was a good stay. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The room, although a bit small, offered great value for money. It's also conveniently located near attractions. The only minor issue was that there were quite a few rooms, and I got a little lost at first.

It’s a nice place to stay ! I came during my overnight stop over from Reykjavik to London through Copenhagen and was looking for a place to rest ! The receptionist ( an Italian or Spanish gent ) was very nice and welcoming! The check in was smooth and well explained! I requested a lower bed and even if I booked last minute my wish was fulfilled:) I had a nice sleep ! :)

A different experience, we will definitely repeat it! 3 things to improve, the hallway light does not turn off at night which is uncomfortable because this light enters even inside the capsule, the sliding door of the capsule creaks, and it is uncomfortable for both us and other guests late at night to open and close the door and generate SUCH an annoying sound, finally the charging port did not work with 2 cell phones at the same time 🥹😅

The hotel has a very good location, just two minutes from the train station, which makes it very convenient for getting around. The WiFi worked well throughout my stay, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. However, there were several issues that affected my experience. The room itself was okay, but the bed felt quite small—I was honestly worried I might fall out. The wall lamp was also poorly placed, making it easy to hit your head. I chose not to have breakfast at the hotel, as there are cheaper options nearby. The biggest problem was the noise. There was significant roadwork outside starting as early as 7:30 a.m. Due to holes in the road, metal plates had been placed over them, and every time someone walked, cycled, or drove over them, it created very loud banging sounds. It was extremely disruptive and made it difficult to sleep. I initially tried calling reception from the room phone without success, so I used my mobile instead. When I asked to change rooms because of the noise, the response I received was: “It’s a big city, what did you expect?” I found this reply dismissive and unprofessional. I’ve lived in London, so I am well aware of typical city noise—but this was something else entirely. Overall, while the location and WiFi are positives, the noise and the way my concern was handled mean I would not choose to stay here again.

The building entrance and the reception areas are impressive. The receptionist is very welcoming. But the room itself feels like a cheap motel. Neet, but cheap. Not worth the price. Beds sound like a camp bed, but it feels ok. The shower is just in the same area as a toilet, and for the shower you stand right on the floor, the same floor as a toilet. Coffee/tea amenities: two cheap cups, and normal two coffee,sugar,creamer. Interestingly that coffee has a label of the hotel, but not cups. Lights are not enough in the room, it feels dark. And there is no central turning on/off switch for light in the room. You need to turn on/off each and every light manually. No hair dryer. There is no separate shampoo. It's just all in one soap+shampoo liquid. Leaving your luggage/bags after checkout is not for free. They have lockers, which you need to pay for. The breakfast buffet is nothing fancy, and not a lot of options. The location is good. Not far away from the center. And there were no city views from my room, but it said so when booking. And there is a small gym inside.

Very very basic living space. Not much room for 2 huge luggages. Check in strictly at 3pm with no free luggage storage, which should be a basic for accommodation. Location is not bad with direct bus to/fro the airport. Room came with 1 pillow and we had to ask for another one which staff said could be found below the bed. Err, but without casing. 2 of us slept with 1 small square pillow for 2 nights. Room have no kettle, nothing.

Everything about this place was excellent! It's definitely worth a visit. The price was great, and the cleanliness was top-notch. I'd happily choose this place again and again. The location is fantastic, making it incredibly convenient for public transport and the subway. Highly recommend booking here!
