I had a wonderful experience at Capsule Hotel The Inn. The building was within walking distance from Chiba Station, which I reached from the Narita airport using one train within an hour, which was a huge plus. The area was very quiet, and I slept really well in my cozy capsule. My cubicle was well equipped with a TV, lamp, locker, hand sanitizer, cups for water (they even provided a bottle of water at check-in), and there were candies waiting for me inside — such a nice touch! I truly had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was 5 out of 5! 👍🏻 Check-in was smooth and easy. Check-out was also straightforward, though it’s important to note their very strict policy: everyone must be out by 10:00 AM, even long-stay guests, as the entire hotel closes for daily maintenance. This wasn’t an issue for me since I stayed only one night, but it’s good to be aware of. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily stay again. Thank you for such a lovely stay! 💖

Trip.com is really starting to penalize loyal customers. I booked a room with breakfast for 447, and right after I confirmed the order, it dropped to 212, also with breakfast. The instant price drop after booking was already quite annoying. After checking in, the 'breakfast included' turned out to be a Starbucks card worth 1000 JPY. I asked the front desk where I could use it, and they said 'on the first floor.' When I went down to the Starbucks on the first floor, it was just a small counter, only serving coffee and drinks, no sandwiches or other main breakfast items. Who can drink 1000 JPY worth of coffee first thing in the morning? I asked the Starbucks staff if there were other places to use the card, and they said 'any Starbucks in the airport.' So, after clearing customs, I searched for another Starbucks but couldn't find one anywhere. I ended up bringing the 1000 JPY voucher home in my pocket. And then I had to go find another place to eat breakfast. 😓

I always use it when I see concerts and professional baseball in Chiba Prefecture ､ I think the price is very reasonable for me, and I will definitely use it when I come to Chiba Prefecture again. Please continue in the future.

The Showa-style capsule hotel with a history of more than 30 years is easy to find next to Funabashi Station. The clerk does not speak English, so communicate in Japanese or with translation software. There are Chinese and English precautions at the front desk, which the clerk will give. Large luggage can be stored in the stairwell and can be taken at any time. The storage compartment space is okay, the sleeping compartment space is relatively small, and it is really old. The radio no longer works, and the big-butt TV can watch ten channels. The lighting can be adjusted, but the disadvantage is that there is only one charging socket. The bathroom is old but clean, and you can't take a bath from 2 to 4 am every day. At night, there is no place to stay in the public rest area, only in the sleeping compartment. Disposable and public supplies are very complete and sufficient. You have to leave the sleeping compartment at 10 am every day and can stay until 12 am. It doesn't matter if you stay in the same room. I haven't eaten in the restaurant, so I won't comment. The price is indeed an advantage. If you want to experience an old-fashioned capsule hotel, you can consider it. I am still willing to try a capsule hotel with higher specifications.

There was also a place to dry the wet suit and a place to put the board, so it was perfect for surf trips. There was a space where you could also have BBQ, so I would like to use it next time.

This is a very traditional Japanese business hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, they are neat and clean. The Japanese-style room we stayed in was large, with an in-room toilet and sink, but showering required leaving the room (Japanese-style rooms have their own dedicated bathroom). Breakfast was a Japanese-style breakfast per person, and you needed to arrange a meal time with the front desk the day before. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and you would leave your key at the front desk when you leave. Please note that check-out is early, before 10 AM, so it's recommended to pack your luggage in advance. (We arrived much later because our belongings were so messy, which delayed the cleaning process, etc., and we apologize for that.)

I used it alone for surfing. I was scheduled to leave early in the morning and stay overnight, so I chose it with an emphasis on the amount of money. Since the building is old, the cleanliness is appropriate, and the service is reasonable considering the price. The good part is the correspondence of the hot spring and the employee, and the bad part is thought to be suitable for the price, so there is no particular, but if you force it, there was no tissue in the room lol There was no comprehensive evaluation in the evaluation item, so it was a normal evaluation overall, but personally it was very good! It is close to the surf spot, so I will use it again.

The check-in is done online (you will recieve am email) so you need to keep that in mind. The JR station is close enough (only a few minutes, less than 5') and you have some kind of bar right next to the guesthouse. Clean and cozy place, beds are closed with a curtain and the male/female spaces are clearly indicated You shall take your shoes off and wear the provided flipflops to walk around.

I didn't check to see if there was a TV in the room, but the room, the building, and the kitchen were all clean, and the facilities were perfect and sufficient for a good night's sleep. There was also a living room and dining space, and coffee was available, so it seemed like a comfortable place to work remotely. Above all, the springs in the bed were comfortable, and the futon was fluffy. I slept so soundly that I almost overslept.
