The reception staff were truly very kind and professional. Everything was clean and smelled amazing, the bed was comfortable, and there was even a TV. The room was quite small, but for the price, I think it was perfect! You still have your own private space and plenty of peace and quiet. They also provided a kit with a wonderful pajama set, which I honestly would have loved to buy it. Highly recommended!!

The place was quite clean, and the service was excellent. Laundry is super affordable at 200 yen, significantly cheaper than other hostels which typically charge 300-500 yen. They also have a dryer, so rainy days aren't an issue. The only drawback is that it's a wooden, detached house (not reinforced concrete), so the sound insulation isn't the best. Guests need to be mindful of their footsteps; walking heavily could lead to thumping noises audible downstairs, potentially causing complaints. Furthermore, showering is generally not permitted after midnight, as the sound of running water can disturb those on lower floors. Also, guests are required to make their own beds (sheets, pillowcase, duvet cover) upon arrival, and strip them off, placing them in the designated laundry basket upon check-out. If you're unwilling to do this or find making your own bed a hassle, you might want to consider booking elsewhere.

Situated right in the city center, the hotel offers outstanding value, allowing guests to stay in a clean, private space without the high cost typically associated with such a central location. The primary strength of the Santiago Hotel is its genuinely unbeatable location. Guests can walk to major landmarks, including the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, in just a few minutes. This centrality extends to local life, with easy access to shopping areas and central dining options, such as the famous Okonomi-mura. Furthermore, the property itself is relatively new, having opened or been significantly renovated around 2020, ensuring a clean and modern environment.

It is only 1 station away from Hiroshima Station, but the transportation is convenient and a short walk. The station has an elevator, convenient to carry luggage, clean rooms, large bathrooms, proportionate. Coffee and snacks are provided. In the evening, instant noodles are also available. I used it because the nearest station in relation to work was Yokogawa. It is also close to the station. It may feel a little hard in midsummer. It's a hotel or really a one-room condominium. Since I stayed for consecutive nights, I washed my underwear by hand and put it around, but the bath was also dry in the bathroom, which was helpful. The bath is the same as home ones, and there is a separate washroom and bathtub. There was a bath towel 1 sheet and a normal size towel 1. I wanted to use the bath towel as a pillow, so I could only use the rectangular ordinary towel for the first night, but it was quite a bit. The next day, I told the front desk that I didn't need a bath towel, so I wanted two ordinary towels, and I was refused. So it might be better for the normal size group to bring in than the bath towel. There is a 7-Eleven nearby, but I used it around 08:30, but there were few rice balls. Overall it was good.

3 minutes from the tram stop, not the kind of hotel that will open a party, everyone is very quiet, the sheets and pillowcases are laid by themselves. There is a kitchen where you can cook and boil water, bring your own dental appliances, and rent 200 yen for bath towels.

It was convenient about 10 minutes from downtown. The bath was large and there were many amenities, and the breakfast was free and good ^_^

I stayed in a capsule-type room, but the bedroom was spacious enough and there was a table and chair where you could eat. There was also a large public bath and manga books. As a welcome drink, you could drink as much sake and chuhai as you wanted, and although they were retort pouches, you could also eat beef bowls and Chinese rice bowls for free. If you register for the app, you could also eat ramen for free. The building itself may be old, but it was well-cleaned and I have no complaints. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options, although it costs extra, so it's better to choose a plan that includes breakfast in advance. This is a recommended hotel.

I stayed here when I was traveling to Hiroshima. It was very convenient to have a Lawson nearby. The accommodation price was also cheap and reasonable.
