"The spacious bed was very comfortable, even with children. The separate bath and toilet were clean, which was great. The location was also excellent, within walking distance to Spectacles Bridge and the downtown area. I would definitely like to stay here again."

"For the price, the facilities were clean and comfortable. However, since there are only one room for men and women, I have to wait for a shower in the morning. I had a towel and a toothbrush. The location and car を make う Fang は Resident parking lot があるので Problem ないです. The location is bad for those who come by station or bus I think it takes about 15 minutes on foot from Matsubara station, the nearest station."

"The amenities (lotion, body cream, etc.) were excellent, and it was fun choosing five items. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, there were local dishes, which was nice. It got extremely crowded at certain times, so it's better to go at a different time. Parking is free."

"The location is right in front of Hitakatsu Port, so it's great for storing luggage before check-in and check-out. It's also soundproof and has 3 beds, so it's comfortable to use. Towels, hair dryers, mini-fridges, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided! However, the smell of the sewer in the bathroom was so strong that it was a bit difficult."

"The room had a washing machine, laundry detergent in the amenities, a drying rack, and a dryer in the bathroom, which made doing laundry incredibly easy. The separate bath and toilet, along with a gas stove and microwave in the room, were also very convenient. It felt more like renting an apartment than staying in a hotel, but personally, it was a convenient and comfortable room that I'd love to stay in again."

"Beautiful traditional Ryokan, my room got both indoor and outdoor private onsen, the hotel is hidden in a forest hence super quiet and serene. Farm to table meals is a surprise; the inn have lands for rice crops, self grown mushrooms, and stable for goat and chickens. Lovely staff and good value for price."

"This hostel has some genuinely strong points, but also several issues that stop it from being a great stay. It’s very much a mix of highs and lows. The positives: The common room is comfortable, with very good sofas and fast Wi-Fi (though it occasionally drops out — a router upgrade would easily fix this). There’s a shared kitchen with a labelled fridge, and the location is excellent for exploring Nagasaki. Dorm rooms are good value for the price. Bed spaces are a decent size, with excellent blackout curtains that block light even if others leave the lights on. You also get a small lockbox for valuables. The negatives: Check-in is fully self-service with no reception. You’re given a folder with rules and keys, but if you need help, there’s no clear support — which can be stressful, especially for travellers without phone SIMs. There is no lift. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the narrow stairs make carrying luggage difficult. Facilities per floor are also limited: only one toilet and one shower shared between multiple dorms, plus the washer and dryer on the same floor, which feels insufficient and awkward. Extras are all paid separately (towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, etc.). A towel really should be included at this price. Guests are also expected to strip their own bedsheets at checkout, which feels excessive. The common room layout could be improved. A large hammock takes up space and reduces seating — replacing it with chairs or bar seating would make the area far more usable. There were also staff or long-term workers frequently occupying the common room, which made the space feel less guest-focused. Air conditioning is locked and cannot be adjusted, so if you’re too hot or cold, you have no control. Would I stay again? As a backpacker on a very tight budget, yes — tahe location and price make it workable. But if you can afford it, I’d recommend paying more for a private room nearby. There are many hotels in the area offering much better comfort and support."

"The hotel boasts an extremely convenient location, close to both the airport and rental car agencies, with convenience stores and numerous restaurants within walking distance. Fukue Castle, a popular tourist attraction, is also nearby, making it easily accessible on foot from the hotel. Despite its proximity, it's quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. The facilities are clean, the room is spacious enough for a solo traveler, and I was pleased with the semi-double bed. While the amenities and services are simple, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I visited Fukue Island to observe the migration of honey buzzards (a type of hawk) at Osezaki Lighthouse, so I had an early start and only booked breakfast once, but it was a healthy meal primarily consisting of vegetables. The linens are changed daily, which is a nice touch."

"It's a truly beautiful hotel. I traveled there from Kumamoto, which is a bit far, but if you do your research, it's definitely worth it. There's one more thing I must tell you all: the private hot spring outside their entrance. I can assure you, what you see is exactly what you get—it's just like the videos I found on social media, absolutely stunning! However! In September and October, there are tons of sea roaches on the rocks along the beach."
