After crossing the luminous metro area of Richmond, I arrived at this beautiful hotel. It is located in a tranquil neighborhood, away from the noise of the city, yet still close to restaurants and shops. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean and well-lit, giving me a good first impression. The room was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night. The air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was stable. When I woke up the next morning, I was showered in the bright sunshine. The large window filled the room with natural light, which made the start of the day refreshing. Breakfast was served downstairs, offering the typical Hampton Inn options—eggs, sausages, waffles, cereals, and fresh fruit. It was simple but satisfying. Overall, it was a pleasant one-night stay, and I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a peaceful environment near Richmond.

This location is conveniently located right off the interstate. The room is about what you would expect for a budget hotel except it is in need of serious upgrades. There was a huge hole in the wall of our room and numerous things needed to be fixed and repaired (cosmetic). The bed was clean and comfortable except for the pillows which were too bulky to sleep on. I used a towel for a pillow. Also there was a very loud vehicle running outside (sounded like a generator) until midnight. Not that this is the hotel’s fault but just shows the type of clientele. There weren’t very many vehicles there when we stayed. There are 3 other hotels in the same area (Wyngate, Comfort Inn, and one other that I can’t remember.)

The motel6 in fancy gap Virginia is a home 🏡 away from home. Spacious rooms, ice cold 🥶 a/c during the summer 🌞🏝️ HOT 🥵🔥 heat during the winter ❄️☃️ quiet and relaxing awaits!!! Very peaceful and quiet 🤫🤐. Incredibly comfortable beds. Everything in the room works flawlessly, and even our dog 🐕 enjoyed his little space! Conveniently located next to a circle ⭕ K gas ⛽ station, so filling up is a breeze and getting back on the highway is literally right there. It has everything you need! Even has a great restaurant down the road 🛣️ called Pitstop! Food is amazing and tasty 😋 I highly recommend both the motel6 and Pitstop is a must! My wife and I and our dog 🐕🐾 enjoyed our time here and we look forward to visiting the area again! Make it a destination for you one day, you won't regret it!

GGuest UserI was taking a shower and grabbed a towel these onject were inside the towel folded up. When I told the lady downstairs named Amanda she apologized and gave us immediately 25% off but we have to call *********** to have them call us about the discount. It was sharp object and one of us could of cut ourselves on that sharp object. About that the service and free food was excellent

BBE ABROADABLE - Nat the ExpatBE AWARE: they told me at checkout yesterday that I’d get my $50 deposit back by the evening. Then they said in 3 days. Now they’re saying in 5 days. Still showing that I was charged on my credit card app… So we’ll see if I get that back! About our stay: If you’re brave and on a budget, you’ll be fine here. But if you’re big on cleanliness and safety then skip this location. Random crap on the carpet. Shower handles leak all over the floor, and there’s rust all over the ceiling and stuff shoved into gaps to prevent leaks. The door isn’t secure at all, and the latch chain could just be ripped off if someone pushed hard on the door. Blood stains (or at least what appeared to be) on the curtain, which also had a massive rip in it. PROS: no bedbugs and we definitely felt safe there. If in a pinch, we’d stay again because it was cheap (IF I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK, that is. Otherwise it’s not cheap) People at the hotel were friendly, I just hope they’re not lying about giving my deposit back 😂 Breakfast was cereals, breads, gravy, eggs and sausage, and a waffle maker. Nothing seemed fresh, we didn’t really eat much. Again, if you want cheap, it’s safe enough and does the job. If you want a refreshing stay, look elsewhere.

GGuest UserFantastic location! If you're looking for a central location from which you can explore Lynchburg, then this is your place. I couldn't believe how close everything was from this location. You have Kroger, Cookout, Liberty University, the River Ridge Mall, Walmart, Target, and a whole host of locations all within a 5 minute drive of the location. Additionally, the hotel is right next to the access to 501 heading to Forest or Downtown Lynchburg. Breakfast was also provided (scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, and milk). But the best feature of the facility was the friendliness, consideration, and helpfulness of the staff. Steve in particular was very knowledgeable about the area and gave helpful suggestions about where I could find groceries pertaining to my limited diet. He would later follow up with me which I found most considerate. Other staff where either quick to say hello, or respond to questions or offer assistance when needed. Because of the location and the staff, I can't recommend this place enough.

BBlk_Abroad_BlessedJust spent the night. Checked in around 6pm and checked out at 11am. Check out is a bit early. I’d hope for at least noon. The shuttle schedule is awful. Peak times there is no shuttle service. I guess the plus side is it’s only a 10 or so minute walk to the metro. Breakfast is just meh. It comes with the room but def nothing to get up and rush down for. The check in (front desk) staff was nice. I think you may get better rate booking directly with hotel. I’d stay again if in the area.

MM&RThis has been the choice hotel for my family for 10 years when we take our annual Va beach vacation! No issues with hotel or its staff, the room, the check in process flawless as usual, but the new aqua holics poolside bar and venue is horrible, limited selection of food and drinks and to top it off the staff is rude and over aggressive. They appear to be an entity that simply rents space from the hotel but they act as if they own the property. We went to enjoy the pool area and they literally said we don’t have room you must leave. I bought my room it’s not my fault the alcoholics and folks who are not staying on property have over crowded the ata, they should move or you relocate them. The pool belongs to choice hotels not your overrated brand. Terrible in that regard so we spent most of our vacation on the beach to avoid trouble and being hassled and harassed!

BbabiieeFor what it is being a motel 6.. This hotel was quite nice and actually clean, drama free, and in a good location for the city. It's also pretty quiet too. The employees I encountered were all very pleasant. Seeinf that we booked on the weekend too, there wasn't noise or loud music going on.just generally a peaceful environment. The office was also quite nice with plenty of pamplets of things to do in the area. Also to mention that there is a lot of food places nearby. From fast food to restaurants. Also the new casino is close by If you wanted to give that a visit. They have a fitness area too. The king toom was very spacious to my surprise. It had two desks with one of them even having a rolling computer chair.

GGuest UserHmmm.this is my second time going to this hotel, I loved it the first time but not this time. Everything about this hotel is really nice, the place neat and staff are all nice. But the problem is I parked my CAR at the parking lot of the hotel and woke up in the morning to find all my car tires were stolen. I mean all four tires of my care were gone.the crops were called and that was it.No body from the hotel even called to check on us or said anything. The manager was not around and I left a message that he should called me and up till now no one has called. I don't think I will ever go to this hotel again even though it a nice place I don't like the way my situation was handle..

GGuest UserMy stay at La Quinta Virginia Beach was a great experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff made me feel welcome right away. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, even though the hotel is just steps away from the beach and local dining spots. The breakfast was fresh and convenient, and parking was easy to access. Overall, I’d highly recommend La Quinta to anyone visiting Virginia Beach — excellent hospitality, great location, and a very comfortable stay!
