"The location of the premium room was very good. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. I know Tropical Islands very well; this was my 18th visit. Despite prior written confirmation that we could leave our luggage and sports bags at reception, this wasn't possible on site. Instead, we had to store our luggage in lockers until we could access our room – at a cost of €2.50 per day for a total of three days. Despite repeatedly pointing out that I had specifically asked, I was simply told that only ”large pieces of luggage” would be accepted. In the future, promises should be clearly stated, or the dimensions should be requested directly. As a regular guest, this makes me feel cheated."

"Full disappointment already at check-in. Even a station hall and is pleasant. Privacy and discretion seem to be a foreign word in this hotel en. The staff welcomed guests as market cry ( loud , very unhappy , unpleasant). Thank you to the quiet trainer. Then the colleague should look out something that overplayed her inadequacy with stupid speeches and did on a big maker. The room was also clean for a meeting hotel i.O. Breakfast a disaster , the station hall atmosphere made the rest of the night perfectly to grandmother. No place in the breakfast room, the first coffee was made , feeling like drunk at the school courtyard in front of the door, for lack of space. The whole hotel is exciting and unrestful. The staff appears completely overloaded. A absolute no go. At breakfast missed basket for bread, dishes, butter, breads, everything went and went, disoriented and confused guests like staff. I can't absolutely recommend the hotel. 4Sterne for what? I didn't even have the impression that there was not enough staff, but that this worked absolutely untrained and unprofessional. You had the impression that there is no structure here, all over the hotel. The staff always smiled just made comments to overplay the state in this hotel. Very sad."

"Super nice and cute room. We heard a train honk 2-3 times during the night, but it wasn't really a big deal. Unfortunately, the rolls at breakfast were almost empty, and the coffee machine didn't work, but you could have one made at reception, as they have a machine there. The lady behind the counter at check-in spoke almost no German. We can speak English, but many certainly don't. If I book a hotel in Germany, I'd like to have a German-speaking person to contact in case of any issues. But €100 for two people with breakfast and parking (€10) is very good. I'd be happy to stay again."

"Had a 6 AM flight the next morning, so I booked this hotel to be close to the airport. It's incredibly convenient – a leisurely 10-minute walk to Terminal 2. The hotel itself isn't large but it's very clean. It was great for an early departure as I could check out quickly. Plus, no deposit required!"

"I've read through so many reviews and can't understand how anyone could even begin to rate this hotel with less than 4 stars! The hotel is fantastic! Both the individual apartments in the outlying buildings (which we were able to easily exchange for a room in the building) and the entire complex, the hotel, simply everything! The owner has put so much effort into creating a truly fantastic concept and a fantastic complex! The staff throughout the hotel is incredibly friendly and accommodating! The breakfast has everything you need and is consistently fresh and varied! Whether it's the wellness area, the outdoor area, or the room, everything is clean and modern; you feel very comfortable! We travel a lot around the world, and this hotel offers excellent value for money! P.S. Given the size of the complex, you might sometimes have to wait a bit or the breakfast room might be a bit full. I can't understand why this could be considered ”bad”! Many thanks to all the staff and the owner for the lovely weekend!"

"the location is perfect, super close to the airport. the reception from the hotel is not so knowledgeable, i asked one of the reception for housekeeping, i already put away the paper tag from the door, and the woman said i don't need to tell them, the housekeeping will automatically to clean the room without the private tag, but when i've got back to my room at around 5pm, my room still not clean yet, coz i'm leaving the day after then i don't bother to clean the room anymore!! then i need to ask the housekeeper to give me some clean towels by myself :( the most disappointment with the service was the dinner in Elise, the restaurant or bar from the hotel. we ordered two portions of plain rice with some prawns and grilled veggies, the first serving of the rice still hard and not properly cooked. i brought this to the attention of the staff and requested a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement was no better at all. This time, the rice was excessively overcooked , extremely mushy like Milch Reis, and unexpectedly salty. After already having complained once, receiving a second portion of such poor quality was particularly disappointed, but rice for a restaurant, i thought its a piece of cake for them, but God knows will be like this. i also have the question the basic quality control in the kitchen. Surely food should be checked before it is served to guests, particularly after a complaint has already been made. What concerned me even more was the way the matter was handled afterwards. Despite the fact the rice had been served incorrectly twice and that we had clearly raised the issue with the staff, both portions were still charged to our bill. Also i can see the face from the staffs were not so friendly at all, i'm not sure that their English is not so good or whatever reason, but this is an airport hotel and sit in a big city Berlin, i will assume the people working there should be understand English very well."
