"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The concierge desk was super helpful, you can basically ask them anything. Needed an umbrella, directions to the nearest post office, and even tape, and the staff were always quick to help (they even delivered items to our room). Service was excellent and very attentive. Location is great too, close to the city center, so getting around was easy. There’s also a casino upstairs. Only small downside was that we got confused with another SkyCity property and accidentally went to the wrong one at first. Parking was also a bit tricky to find."

"This hotel is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk, about 200 meters, from the international terminal. Especially now with Auckland Airport's temporary terminal where you have to queue outside for check-in, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect. Plus, you can even push your airport luggage cart right to your room door. It's also quite easy to transfer from domestic to international flights, with the domestic arrivals a roughly ten-minute walk away."

"The deluxe room we stayed in this time was fabulous due to the spaciousness. It was also quiet due to the location of the room. Double whammy. It was cleaned to a standard that was very comfortable to stay in. Unfortunately the late night menu wasn’t quite complete as there were only a couple of things available. Overall, kids are pretty happy with the stay."

"The hotel is close to the harbor, and Queen Street is just across the road, making it very convenient to get around. The room offers a partial sea view and is a decent size. The bed is comfortable and large enough for two people. Cleanliness is not an issue, and the coffee is good. However, the room lighting is too dim, which I didn't like. The windows aren't soundproof, so you can hear outside noise late at night on weekends. If you're only staying in Auckland for a short visit and exploring the city, this is a great choice, especially recommended for families with children."

"The room was great and had everything we needed! The desk was perfect for our child to do homework. The pool was also good, with many kids playing there every day. "A really great hotel! Highly recommend it~ If you look closely, some of the little cards around the hotel have really witty and subtly sarcastic messages, which is quite clever, haha. There are some interesting places to explore nearby, and it's located by the pier. Although it's a bit far from the airport shuttle drop-off point, I think its positives far outweigh this minor inconvenience. Plus, the hotel has a fantastic design, and the toiletries are excellent!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was efficient. "We arrived at around 10:30am and requested an early check in, as we had a 5:00am flight the following morning. We fully understood that the standard 1500pm check in time applied and that any early check-in was subject to room availability. We therefore appreciated the hotel accommodating us with a room at 1230pm. Unfortunately, the room was not ready to the standard we expected. We found an empty bottle on the floor, and the glass door/window could not be locked properly. Although, we requested a room change, we were informed that none were available at the time and maintenance advised that the lock would require drilling and screwing to repair. What disappointed us most was not the need for the repair itself, but how the situation was handled. The communication from the maintenance staff came across as abrupt when we were asked whether we wanted the repair carried out or not. We also felt greater consideration could have been given to guests, as drilling may not be suitable for those with allergies, asthma or sensitivities to dust or noise. Holiday inn has always been a brand I associate with consistent international standards, particularly from my experiences in South-East Asia. While we appreciated the hotel's flexibility in offering an early check-in, we do not believe this should come at the expense of basic expectations such as cleanliness, security, and a room that is ready for occupancy. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident rather than a reflection of the hotel's usual standards. Many guests arrive after long journeys simply looking forward to a clean, secure and comfortable place to rest. A little more thoughtfulness in both room readiness and communication would make a meaningful difference to the overall guest experience."

We checked in late in the night. We needed an extra bed in our room and Front desk did not say no even though Hoise keeping was not available. 10 stars to the hospitality! Rooms were big enough, hotel within walking distance to Sky tower. All in all everything was superb!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the University of Auckland. After taking a taxi from the airport to Waitemata Station, it's about a four or five-stop bus ride from Britomart, and the bus stop is right across from the hotel. There are many bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. Check-in was very smooth; even though there were a lot of people checking in that afternoon, it was well-organized and efficient overall. The front desk staff were also very friendly and even asked if I had stayed at their hotel before. I mentioned I had been to Cordis Beijing Capital Airport previously, but this was my first time here. Upon entering, I noticed the hotel's signature scent, which was indeed identical to the one at Cordis Beijing Capital Airport. The room facilities were all great, the mattress was very comfortable, and there were plenty of charging outlets. The hotel's Wi-Fi was also very fast. The toiletries were of high quality with a pleasant scent, and since the weather was dry in autumn, applying some body lotion made me feel very comfortable. Cordis hotels are known for their breakfast, and the restaurant in the morning certainly offered a wide variety of delicious-looking options. Perhaps due to jet lag, my stomach still thought it was 4 or 5 AM after I finished eating, so I didn't eat much. All in all, this booking on Trip.com offered excellent value for money, and this comfortable trip made me very happy and relaxed.

Very beautiful hotel! Situated at Wynyard Quarter, easy to walk to CBD / Ferry Terminal with plenty of good restaurants around (Auckland Fish Market is also just next-door). View (especially night view) is fantastic. Staff are helpful and friendly. Room is spacious. Breakfast is yummy yummy with lots of choices! (Enjoy the stay very much but forgot to take more nice photos inside the room during day time…）

Facilities: The facilities are quite new, and the lobby feels very spacious. The bathroom is huge and even has a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak to relieve fatigue. Cleanliness: The room and even the hallway railings felt dust-free, which was great. Environment: The environment is comfortable, and there's even a swimming pool. Service: Excellent service. They proactively helped carry my luggage to the room. Parking was also convenient.

Very nice hotel with good location and convenient free parking. However two requests to fix malfunctioning fridge failed to materialise in anything. Every morning just around 8am a cart would also roll around outside my room making a lot of noise and waking me up.

Location: First off, the location is excellent. It's a pleasant 10-minute walk to the harbor, a 5-minute stroll to the bustling commercial district, and a 7-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Within 10 minutes, you'll find two large supermarkets and numerous Chinese restaurants. Amenities: The hotel room comes fully equipped with kitchenware, including a microwave. What's even more impressive is that there's a washer and dryer right in the room! Highly recommend! Service: The front desk is staffed 24 hours, and the staff were quite friendly. After paying online, a 75 yuan deposit is required at check-in.

This hotel is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk, about 200 meters, from the international terminal. Especially now with Auckland Airport's temporary terminal where you have to queue outside for check-in, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect. Plus, you can even push your airport luggage cart right to your room door. It's also quite easy to transfer from domestic to international flights, with the domestic arrivals a roughly ten-minute walk away.

We arrived at around 10:30am and requested an early check in, as we had a 5:00am flight the following morning. We fully understood that the standard 1500pm check in time applied and that any early check-in was subject to room availability. We therefore appreciated the hotel accommodating us with a room at 1230pm. Unfortunately, the room was not ready to the standard we expected. We found an empty bottle on the floor, and the glass door/window could not be locked properly. Although, we requested a room change, we were informed that none were available at the time and maintenance advised that the lock would require drilling and screwing to repair. What disappointed us most was not the need for the repair itself, but how the situation was handled. The communication from the maintenance staff came across as abrupt when we were asked whether we wanted the repair carried out or not. We also felt greater consideration could have been given to guests, as drilling may not be suitable for those with allergies, asthma or sensitivities to dust or noise. Holiday inn has always been a brand I associate with consistent international standards, particularly from my experiences in South-East Asia. While we appreciated the hotel's flexibility in offering an early check-in, we do not believe this should come at the expense of basic expectations such as cleanliness, security, and a room that is ready for occupancy. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident rather than a reflection of the hotel's usual standards. Many guests arrive after long journeys simply looking forward to a clean, secure and comfortable place to rest. A little more thoughtfulness in both room readiness and communication would make a meaningful difference to the overall guest experience.

The location is in the city center with limited parking but the staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly and able to manage it. The breakfast was also quite plentiful, making it good value for money. I might consider to choose the same hotel next time.
