The hotel is located in a resort, a bit far from the city center, but you can get here by bus route 255. The Giant's Causeway is relatively close, about a 90 RMB taxi ride one way. My ground-floor room has a 'small garden,' but I felt it lacked privacy, as people on the higher floors opposite seemed able to see into my room. The front desk service was average. Shopping downstairs is convenient, but the brand selection isn't extensive, and the resort's restaurants are quite pricey.

The room was clean, the sea view was great, there were no strange odors, and I didn't notice any issues with soundproofing. I'm not sure where the negative online reviews came from; personally, I found everything to be good, and the location was very convenient too.

Our group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained. However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds.

Peaceful, retro vibes. The staff are young but extremely friendly and helpful. They speak English well. A great place to centre yourself in Seogwipo. I would love to come back one day…

At check-in it was very welcoming Unfortunately Staffs working there weren't very informative Couldn't give me answers about making local phone calls from room even i was willing to pay if they had to, I end up using taxi drivers phone to confirm reservations. And asked to check out late till 4 or 5pm but they had to charge full amount and when I was there to check out, front staff asked 10000 Korean Won more, $7-$10 would not make much difference but than why i feel i was overcharged and that made me feel unpleasant I expected good food here but it wasn't fascinaingt or any special. Worst of all when I was off from taxi or getting taxi, men working(doormen) outside would not call taxi for me nor help handling my bags or luggage Very different from most of other hotel in Korea Am I going to use any of Silla Hotel service? More likely never will happen

The bathroom and room were quite clean; I didn't notice any bad smells like some reviews mentioned. The bed wasn't as comfortable as a 5-star hotel, but it was acceptable for me, and I slept well. For the price, it's excellent value. My favorite thing about this place is its location right by Hamdeok Beach, making it very convenient to get to the beach. There are also plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. You can even enjoy breakfast with a sea view. My room didn't face the sea, so I couldn't see it, even though I requested a sea-view room during check-in. I'm not sure if they didn't have any available or didn't understand my request, but I didn't get one. Otherwise, everything else was great.

This is an excellent hotel for a peaceful getaway. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including a couple of shops, cafes, restaurants, and souvenir stores. It might be a bit tricky without a car due to the road layout, but that's typical for those traveling around Jeju. Waking up to the sound of the waves is incredible, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. Even if you don't speak Korean, they'll actively communicate with you using a translator and are always ready to help. I have nothing but positive feelings about this hotel. Good luck and prosperity to your business! If I'm ever in Jeju again, I'll definitely book this place.

the room was probably normal sized but it felt “big” to us as we had just come from a much smaller hotel in busan, so we really appreciated the space we had to open our suitcases. the staff at check-in was really friendly & spoke english, she also made us feel very welcomed! we didn’t opt for the breakfast so can’t comment but if i remember correctly, it’s only about 8000won for the breakfast. location wise - we chose this hotel because it’s fairly near the airport & we had an early flight out. we also rented a car so tbh the location didn’t matter that much. but there is free parking at the hotel as well. there was only 1 weird thing, we put the Do Not Disturb sign up on our 1st day as we had left all our suitcases open & went out but when we came back at night, the room had been cleaned. nothing was missing but just felt it was odd since we stated Do Not Disturb.

We had a wonderful stay at Sun and Moon Resort in Jeju. The highlight was absolutely the sea view – truly magnificent and worth waking up to every morning. The kids loved the breakfast, which made our family trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning sea views and beach.

Our flight back from Jeju Island was early in the morning, so I booked the Lotte City Hotel near the airport. It's about a five or six-minute drive, and a taxi only cost around 20-25 RMB. Getting a taxi even at 5 AM was very convenient. The front desk staff were all very friendly. Downstairs, there's a Lotte Duty Free shop, though it doesn't have a huge selection. If you go out and turn right at the small intersection, there's an Olive Young, which is handy for restocking. The Shilla Duty Free is only about a ten-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants along the way.
