"This place offers great view of the ten mile gallery. Breakfast & high tea provided with night deserts daily. It would be great if the menu are different daily. Transfer is provided within the 5km but only selected place designated by the hotel only it would be great if they provide transfer to and from hotel as they have many cars available. Unfortunately, they were shot of drivers. Within the radius of their amenities, e-bikes are easily rented. Last but not least, free photoshoot by their professional photographer Jia Jia was nice. Thank you."

"Came here for the world's tallest Shangri-La, and the views did not disappoint! The hotel lobby is incredibly grand, and the 270-degree view is superb, offering a panoramic vista of 'Green City' Nanning. The room layout is well-designed, the bedding in the bedroom is comfortable, and the smart system is very easy to use. All aspects of the experience were excellent, and the service was particularly satisfying! Front desk agent Elva was fantastic; she thoughtfully arranged a room with the best night view for us, gave a detailed introduction to the facilities, enthusiastically recommended many great places to eat and visit, and even helped us with a late checkout. Her service was truly exceptional!!! The ladies at the Executive Lounge, Rose, Wynn, Maddy, and Linny, were also incredibly warm and welcoming. It truly lives up to its reputation as the best hotel in Nanning, I will definitely come again!"

"Outstanding hotel, highly recommended. The rooms are large, comfortable and practical, with lovely views of the river. The bathrooms are especially nice, with large bathtubs. Breakfast is varied, with an excellent range of delicious food. The staff are extremely polite and helpful: they were able to check me in even at 3:00am after I arrived on the night train. The cleaners are quick, thorough and efficient, too. The staff provide thoughtful gifts like free oranges for Spring Festival. The hotel is well located for getting around Wuzhou, and all the taxi drivers know it. There seems to be lots to do within the hotel, too, including restaurants, a spa, a KTV lounge, a tea house and a swimming pool, so it would be excellent for large groups too."

"Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious. The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos. The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process. My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it. I also tried the hotel spa. The masseuse was quiet throughout but worked hard, and her technique was very good. The most memorable part of our Guilin trip was our stay at Lijiang Courtyard. We felt completely at home. We'll definitely book here again next time!"

"The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The service was excellent; they even called ahead to confirm our check-in time and needs for the next day. The location is superb, right by the lake with direct views of the Sun and Moon Pagodas. It's also very convenient for getting to the pedestrian street. Since my friend had a child with her, the hotel arranged a car to take us to the high-speed rail station and even gave us a souvenir, which was a very thoughtful touch. If I get the chance to visit Guilin again, I will definitely choose to stay here."

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Rong Lake, practically part of the city park. The stunning lake and mountain scenery are right before your eyes. The hotel itself is a classic Republican-era building, exuding a sense of history and cherished memories, like a quiet, wise elder full of stories. Our room even had a balcony, and sitting there sipping tea while gazing at Rong Lake below truly felt like escaping the hustle and bustle, bringing a sense of calm. The hotel also kindly provided coffee vouchers, which helped pass the time while waiting for our flight.

The location next to Elephant Trunk Hill's Gate 1 is incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to the night shift staff member who was on duty when we arrived at 1 AM. He was so attentive and patiently answered all our questions; truly outstanding! After years of traveling and staying in countless hotels, this one easily ranks among my top favorites. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserPoised in mountains and waters, nestled in clouds – an exceptional stay at Jiyun Shangyuan Resort Hotel by the Yulong River. First things first: More than just accommodation, it's a destination. Yangshuo boasts countless hotels, but Jiyun Shangyuan is an utterly underrated 'heavenly guesthouse'. This stay offered a complete cure for the senses – visual, taste, and soul. It’s truly a perfect hotel with no flaws! Reason for a perfect score one: Divine views that 'frame' the karst landscape into your room. The hotel is located in the heart of the Ten-Mile Gallery, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street, enjoying its own tranquil space. Our room featured a floor-to-ceiling glass window spanning an entire wall. Honestly, photos don't capture even a tenth of its beauty! The misty green hills of the Yulong River unfold before you like a dynamic IMAX movie. It truly lives up to 'open the window to a view, sleep under the moon, and wake with the sunrise'. Lying in bed gazing at the mountains and waters, or watching stars from the balcony bathtub – this ultimate sense of relaxation is something no other scenic spot along the Li River can offer. Reason for a perfect score two: Heartfelt service that treats guests like 'family'. The service here could easily be a textbook example for the industry. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it 100 points. From the butler's proactive contact after booking to the warm reception upon arrival, the entire process was smiling and efficient. When the Li River was flooding, the butler constantly reminded us to be safe. When our child wanted local fruit, the butler thoughtfully provided some. After playing in the water, our clothes got wet, and there's a self-service laundry room. We even forgot our clothes in the laundry, and the butler kindly delivered them to our room. This feeling of 'everything is handled, every need is met' is truly more touching than the standardized service of a five-star hotel. Reason for a perfect score three: Culinary delights and high-end amenities. Regarding dining, the Chinese breakfast offered authentic Guilin rice noodles, while the Western breakfast perfectly blended with Lipu taro and pumpkin. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the coffee at Cloud Restaurant was top-notch, with the Basque cheesecake being unforgettable. The lighting in the restaurant also helps for great photos. In terms of amenities, the hotel spared no expense: King Koil mattresses, Kohler sanitary ware, Dyson hairdryers, and even a thoughtful self-service laundry room. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, showing attention to detail. It offers the warmth of a guesthouse while maintaining five-star hotel hardware standards. Reason for a perfect score four: Immersive local cultural experiences. This place isn't just selling scenery; it's dedicated to sharing culture. The hotel is filled with Zhuang elements. Beyond beautiful decor, you can also enjoy free photo shoots in traditional Zhuang attire. Against the backdrop of the infinity pool and the mountains, every shot looks like a magazine cover. Furthermore, activities like hand-sewing embroidered balls and making oil tea kept both adults and children engaged. Families with kids don't need to worry about boredom, as the children's playground and pool are enough to tire out the little 'beasts'. Final thoughts: We'll be back. Our stay happened during heavy rain, but after the rain cleared, the scenery was even more beautiful. Regardless of the weather, Jiyun possesses a different charm. We even felt a little reluctant to leave. Just like its name suggests, there's an ethereal, otherworldly quality here, yet it's filled with the warmth of home. If you come to Yangshuo, you must 'waste' your time at Jiyun Shangyuan. Tips: · We recommend booking a panoramic room type or a family room for the best views. · Definitely try the hotel's electric bicycle rental; the Ten-Mile Gallery is right at the doorstep. · The hotel is very close to the Yulong River rafting (Shuidi section), within walking distance, which is very convenient.

AAnonymous UserThe floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

You can open the French windows and immediately enjoy the breathtaking mountain and river views, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and meticulously cleaned, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom features a convenient wet and dry separation, and all the facilities are brand new and fully equipped. The infinity pool, a popular spot, is set against a backdrop of green mountains, perfect for amazing photos. The expansive lawn area is ideal for relaxing. The staff are warm, polite, and very efficient with check-ins. They are always on hand to assist with any issues. The breakfast selection is varied, including delicious local specialties. The hotel's proximity to the Yulong River and the Impression Liu Sanjie show makes it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. It's suitable for both couples and friends traveling together. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Yangshuo. Highly recommend!

There are the waterlily ponds around the hotel and you can hear the delightful little frogs croaking at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful with all requests, and the hotel's interior is clean and beautifully designed. The pool is also very pleasant, as are the many activities offered here, and you can rent a scooter easily for convenient transport around.ation is great, by the river and close to nature. The lady at reception tried her best to find us a transport however either there was really a shortage on cars or all occupied. Our room was just right size for the family of 4, it has little balcony. It started to show it's wear but still acceptable.

LLizileeFirstly, the location is excellent. It's right in the scenic area, where the Li River is at its most beautiful, offering truly stunning views. The Li River is directly opposite, and downstairs you'll find electric scooter rentals. Across the street are a charging station and the hotel's parking lot. They have a 'Sky Mirror' (infinity pool/reflective surface), a garden, and a swimming pool. Thirdly, the service is comprehensive. They offer afternoon tea with various Guangxi small snacks. For breakfast, the auntie makes delicious Guilin rice noodles served with roasted pork belly – I practically inhaled two bowls! When you return in the evening, there's supper: dumplings, tremella soup, and osmanthus glutinous rice balls. Right next door are the highly-rated beer fish and freshly roasted kiln chicken from Dazhong Dianping (a popular review site). It was a very comfortable trip~~~

From the moment I got out of the car and they helped with my luggage, I could feel the attentive, butler-style service. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet; she not only helped me plan my itinerary but also recommended some amazing local restaurants – absolutely no duds! The welcome fruit upon check-in and the sweet soup at night were really a nice touch, making me feel right at home. The guesthouse's location is perfect – quiet yet convenient for getting around, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Next time I bring my family, I'll definitely choose this place again!

Ss3481390Since it was the off-season, there were fewer tourists, and some guesthouses nearby had closed down. However, Xianyunju was still doing good business, and the staff's enthusiasm for service didn't wane. They proactively contacted us early to discuss transportation to the hotel and activity arrangements. Upon arrival, they even thoughtfully upgraded our room. The bay window in this room was absolutely amazing, though I regret forgetting to take a picture... Even though fishing and other activities couldn't be arranged during the dry season, the cobblestones in the riverbed were exposed, and we had a great time skipping stones for a whole morning. I highly recommend this for tourists from areas where fireworks are restricted – you can really let loose here, as local fireworks are affordable and come in many varieties, likely because it's a production area. A special thank you to the hotel owner for personally arranging the ancient temple hiking and exploration activity. The kids absolutely loved it!
