Ξενοδοχεία με breakfast σε North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

This hotel is really good. Maybe it's because the hotels I stayed at in Paris were too small, but arriving in Germany, this hotel was spacious and very clean. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. The breakfast was also decent, and the staff always gave me bottled mineral water. The owner seems to be Chinese and was very friendly. It was a really great experience, and I'd recommend it to my friends.

The room was spacious, and they had already made up the beds and laid out the bath towels and regular towels for our triple room. The breakfast selection was also very rich, with boiled eggs, fried eggs, bread, milk, and smoked salmon. The staff were exceptionally polite and cleared plates very promptly. The only downside was that the showerhead in the bathroom couldn't be raised as the holder was broken. The most significant drawback was that the hotel is right next to a railway line, and the noise from the subway and cars hitting speed bumps on the highway was incredibly loud. A subway train passed every two to three minutes, starting before 6 AM, which made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep and negatively impacted our enjoyment of the rest of our trip.

The hotel was clean and tidy, a classic German budget hotel. The front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was good. Parking was free, and having a supermarket right next to the hotel was very convenient. Definitely a worthwhile choice when visiting Cologne!

The room is the same as the picture description, the staff is very good, the facilities are complete, the TV is not stable with wifi, the location is very convenient, the breakfast is rich, the room is large

It's a pretty good hotel. The scenery along the Rhine is beautiful. Taking a walk by the Rhine, right next to the DHL headquarters, is very pleasant. You can also visit Beethoven's birthplace.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel. Cleanliness: Spotless, both the room and the lobby. Service: Very warm and helpful. Our car was a bit too tall for the parking garage, and the staff helped us resolve the issue. Environment: Very close to the city center, only about a 10-minute walk to the cathedral.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf for 3 days and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out easy. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the location was convenient for exploring Düsseldorf and using public transportation. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would consider staying here again on a future visit.

We were a group of three visiting Düsseldorf and Cologne for Carnival, staying in Duisburg as our base. The location was excellent for onward travel using public transport. The extra bed was surprisingly comfortable, and overall the beds were very good. The hotel itself is a bit dated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. On the first day, the air conditioner in our room was not working. We reported the issue to the reception in the evening, but were told that there were no available rooms. What was more concerning than the problem itself was the indifferent attitude of the reception staff. They showed no empathy, did not apologize, and simply stated that housekeeping had not reported the issue, asking us what they could do. To ensure the issue would be addressed, I personally reminded them again and provided our room number. I’m glad I did, because it later became clear that no record of our complaint had been made. That evening, assuming the issue had been resolved, we returned to our room only to find that the air conditioner was still not working. When we reported it again, we received the same standard response: “There are no available rooms.” It felt repetitive and unhelpful, as if no real effort was being made to resolve the situation. Since it was already late and our last night, we had little choice. Fortunately, a staff member named Fadi from the bar came to assist us. He checked the electrical panel, reset the fuses, and managed to get the air conditioner working. I would like to sincerely thank him for his initiative and helpfulness. Unlike the reception staff, he also proactively suggested a room change if needed. Additionally, as we were leaving the hotel, we met Ms. Derya from the reception. We explained the situation to her, and she kindly apologized for what had happened. I would like to thank her as well for her understanding and professional attitude. In summary, this hotel leaves guests to handle issues on their own unless they happen to encounter a helpful staff member. The experience feels inconsistent and unreliable, which is not what one expects from a hotel stay.

Hotel is good, room service is nice, staff is kind. Facilities are generally in a good condition. Unfortunately, it only has one elevator, so, please avoid to use it during the peak hours. Also, dining hall is quite small, you may have to sit outside at the bar area. 😂
