This B&B positions itself as a boutique hotel, not just a regular guesthouse. However, because it's so close to the scenic area, it's located in a restricted zone. ⚠️ You MUST use Didi (ride-hailing app) to get directly to the B&B's doorstep. Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. "Overall, my stay was fantastic. Check-in was efficient and the front desk staff were very friendly, even offering us a room upgrade. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was good, so I had a really peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, strong water pressure, and a full range of amenities. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, including hot dishes, fruits, and local specialties, all of which tasted great. The hotel's location is convenient, with plenty of amenities nearby. The service was attentive, it's close to Tianmen Mountain, and there's parking available. I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"Manxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.' **Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down. **Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare. **Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable! **Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests. **In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay. **Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this."

"We had a relaxing time in Zhangjiajie which sounds hard to believe considering all the walking and stairs that’s done visiting the main attractions!! 😂😂 When we returned from a full on day sore and tired, we were offered massages (paid services) even late into the night. We were a short walk away from a variety of restaurants and street food which made it so convenient to explore without having to venture off too far from the hotel. The location was close to the airport and a short Didi ride away from the main Railway Station. Our view was stunning to say the least. With the room option we booked we got a personal butler which is what made our experience in Zhangjiajie smooth and seamless. She went above and beyond to arrange our activities, followed up to see when we were landing, upgraded our room for early check in and was always available to answer my few thousand questions at the most random times since making the booking. I booked the hotel in July and since then had been in touch with our butler who started making our arrangements far in advance. Her advice and suggestions with our itinerary made it easy to navigate Zhangjiajie. I thought I knew how to get around watching a few hundred TikTok videos but having a local overlook what I planned and ironing out the details made it that much easier. She was kind always smiling and just a pleasure to deal with. Lillie (our personal butler) you were amazing! Thank you for all your help, patience and suggestions. It truly made our visit in Zhangjiajie a memorable experience."

"Amazing stay! The hotel really thought of everything — free umbrellas, snacks and instant noodles available if you’re in a hurry, an amazing breakfast with lots of options, and free laundry with clothes ready the next morning. The staff were kind and helpful, and everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the massage service. It was quite expensive and unfortunately not a good experience at all. It’s a scam. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel!"

Among the many luxury hotels in Changsha, what impressed me most about the Park Hyatt Changsha is its non-formulaic luxury, full of unique warmth and sophistication. It’s definitely a place I’d give a perfect score to from the bottom of my heart after staying. Perched high up in the IFS building, located in the bustling Wuyi Square, yet it manages to create a secluded oasis. Entering through the fourth-floor courtyard, you’re instantly shielded from the outside noise. The cloud-level lobby on the 62nd floor incorporates art installations inspired by Xiang embroidery and Liuyang fireworks into the space. There's no exaggerated display, but rather a warm, understated, and well-thought-out mansion-style design that perfectly blends Hunan's local aesthetics with Park Hyatt's discreet luxury philosophy. All guest rooms are located above the 54th floor, offering expansive floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the Xiang River and city skyline. Double-glazed windows completely block out the city's hustle and bustle. The bedding, bathroom amenities, and minibar offerings are all excellent. The turndown service is meticulously detailed, never intrusive, yet always making you feel well cared for. The biggest surprise was undoubtedly Restaurant Leela. As the hotel's main dining establishment, it completely shatters the stereotype of high-end hotel restaurants being all looks and no taste. Its culinary approach, blending Hunan and Cantonese cuisines, not only retains the rustic flavors of Hunan but also refines them exquisitely, resulting in outstanding and well-balanced tastes. Dining with floor-to-ceiling windows offers panoramic views of the Xiang River and the entire city, providing a dual feast for both taste and sight. Whether it’s for a formal meal or a casual gathering, the food, environment, and ambiance all stand up to scrutiny, making it a huge plus for the hotel. The service is another major highlight of this hotel. There's no overly solicitous routine; the staff strikes just the right balance. Check-in, inquiries, and requests are all handled efficiently and appropriately. From the concierge to the room and restaurant staff, their attitude is humble and professional, with service stemming from genuine thoughtfulness rather than robotic adherence to procedures. Among hotels in the same luxury tier, its value for money is truly outstanding. The hardware specifications, dining quality, and service level perfectly match its pricing, without any inflated premium. It doesn't win by relying on fleeting online trends, but by providing a tangible living experience, delicious food, and comfortable service, creating a complete and satisfying stay. Overall, it's perfectly suited for both city vacations and business trips. The hardware, dining, service, and ambiance are all top-notch. The unique and personalized details made this stay truly memorable, making it worth revisiting time and again!"

"Amazing stay at Four Points by Sheraton! We spent several days hiking in Zhangjiajie, and this hotel was perfect for travellers. The room is spacious and clean, plenty of space to unpack our hiking gear. The breakfast buffet really impressed us — huge selection of both Western and local Chinese food, lots of fresh options to fuel up before heading into the national park. The fitness centre is well-maintained with complete equipment, great for stretching after long hikes. Self-service laundry room is a game-changer for international travellers! We could wash our dirty hiking clothes easily, which saved us so much trouble on this trip. Great location close to the forest park. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie! Will definitely come back."

"As always, when I come to Changsha, I choose the InterContinental Hotel. Guest relations specialist Lily called me to confirm my arrival time, arrange the room, and provide important information, such as the lighting schedule for the outdoor light show, and the times and locations for breakfast and dinner. The room was clean and tidy, and the floor attendant greeted me with a smile. The room cleaning was meticulous and thoughtful. Just a short walk downstairs is the Xiangjiang River, which is very convenient for a stroll. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich, with my favorite soy milk and fried dough sticks, and mini glutinous rice dumplings. The dinner buffet was also superb. There's a large underground parking lot, making parking absolutely convenient. Photo 1 is breakfast, Photo 2 is the Yunnan restaurant, and Photos 3 to 6 are the dinner buffet."

"This is the most worthwhile treasure hotel to stay at when visiting Fenghuang, far better than those five-star hotels or boutique B&Bs along the Tuojiang River. Room: We arrived very late, and the hotel upgraded our room type. The room was very comfortable, and the bedding met the usual standards of a luxury five-star hotel. Environment: Located on a hill downstream of the ancient town, a private path leads directly to the riverside, passing by Mr. Shen Congwen's tomb. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling ancient town. In the morning, the downstream section of the Tuojiang River has few tourists, allowing you to enjoy the Crescent Moon Bridge scenery exclusively. By avoiding the noisy upstream area, you can truly appreciate the beauty of Fenghuang. Hot Springs: They have genuine hot springs sourced from 1800 meters underground. Soaking in them leaves your skin silky smooth. After exploring the ancient town, a hot spring bath washes away all fatigue, leading to a comfortable night's sleep. Parking: EV-friendly, with Tesla and Li Auto supercharging stations. This was my return to Fenghuang after twenty years. I initially planned to book a boutique B&B in town or a five-star hotel along the river, but ultimately chose Wyndham. Throughout our stay, my partner and I kept exclaiming that choosing to stay here was the best decision."
