The room was spacious and clean, and it was dry and odorless despite the humid weather. It offered a first-row view of the Tuojiang River. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, including high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off. The breakfast was rich, varied, and delicious! They also helped with planning our ancient town itinerary. The butler service was truly excellent! Definitely worth staying again next time! Highly recommend to friends. 100% satisfied with the experience!

This might just be the hotel with the best night views of the Xiang River in Changsha. My stay was during the plum rain season, so the weather was poor and misty. However, on the first night, I could still see Orange Isle and the Xiang River. Later, as night fell and the lights came on, the light show along both banks of the Xiang River was spectacular. Perhaps the Xiang River night view is the best way to experience Changsha. The next day, the weather cleared up, visibility improved, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Yuelu Mountain in the distance. The room decor felt a bit old-fashioned and traditional, but the light color palette was very comfortable. The breakfast restaurant offered a wide variety, including freshly baked waffles and made-to-order eggs Benedict. The freshly squeezed juice was very fresh and delicious. What impressed me most about the hotel was the service at the Grand Club. The front desk staff at the Executive Lounge frequently engaged me in conversation during my stay. They never neglected me, even when busy with work, always attentively answering my questions and comforting me when my flight was delayed due to a schedule change. This trip was for my graduation, and after explaining this to the lounge staff, they happily prepared a small cake to commemorate the end of my student days. I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Manager Yan and all the staff at the Grand Club Executive Lounge, and wish them all the best in their careers. It's also worth mentioning that the Grand Club offers the best spot to capture photos of Du Fu's Pavilion at night, perfect for stunning shots. Despite being an older hotel, having been open for nearly 10 years, the Grand Hyatt Changsha is impeccably maintained, both in the rooms and public areas. If I were to recommend a place, the Grand Hyatt would always be the best choice when visiting Changsha.

I highly recommend the 'Confession Room' at this hotel! I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I entered – the balloons and rose petals were beautifully arranged without being over-the-top, and the swan towel art was incredibly romantic. The facilities are top-notch, the mattress is soft and comfortable, and the cleanliness is impeccable; even the corners were spotless. The sheets and towels had a subtle, pleasant scent, which was very reassuring. What truly stood out was the service. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, helping with luggage and recommending local attractions, and housekeeping responded incredibly fast. The overall environment is quiet and serene, with an expansive view from the window. The price is also reasonable. I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is literally next to the East gate. The place is beautiful, the room was clean, comfortable, the breakfast rich and tasty. The staff's English is a chalenge, but they are sweet, very polite and readily using translator, so we always found the answers to our questions.

I’ve been travelling for decades and stayed at a huge variety of places. By far this is the best one I’ve ever been to. The whole staff and expecially our butler Yuan yuan和xiaotang were super helpful and friendly. I was so much impressed by their help and readiness to adjust , find ways to solve our problems or fulfill requests. We’re travelling with a child , so we had a lot of requests! We’ve been to a range of 5-star hotels around the globe, but have never seen such help and hospitality. I’d highly recommend using the hotel taxi for the airport pickups and getting around since it is much better than the local didi choices. You just don’t have air conditioned didi options in the village no matter how much you’re ready to pay. Just old cars with open windows. The hotel cars are new, spacious and comfortable. And the drivers are all very good. We’ve also enjoyed breakfast very much. Lots of options. And especially good for a child (not spicy and a huge variety of buns). The location is close to the national park entrance and you walk around 10min to the entrance through a very nice and picturesque park by the river side! The hotel features its own natural cave with colourful lights. So beautiful! And it’s a great escape in rainy days or demanding days when kids and elder people aren’t exactly eager to go anywhere else but still wish to see something. We’ve even discovered a tiny colony of bats inside! The hotel has several nice terraces overlooking the park, riverside and the village center. We’ve found it ideal for having snacks or tea outdoors and enjoying the village lights in the evening. The whole hotel territory and the pool are so beautiful, well designed and perfect for taking pictures.

The bathroom was tidy, with plenty of hot water. The spacious desk and chair area was perfect for working on a business trip, and the natural light and ventilation were great. The hotel's common areas were quiet, elegant, and impeccably clean everywhere. The location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around for appointments. From the attentive service to the comfortable living experience, everything was impeccable, offering incredible value for money. The staff truly go above and beyond for their guests, making business travel hassle-free and comfortable. This will definitely be my first choice for future business trips, and I highly recommend it to all my business travel companions.

The Huijing 2nd Generation is truly ideal for family trips. The rooms have plenty of cabinets, offering great storage space, plus a microwave, fridge, and dining table, which makes it super convenient for ordering takeout and eating in. The free self-service laundry room is also a huge bonus – just leave the tag paper, and the staff will wash, dry, fold, and return your clothes to your room. This was an absolute lifesaver for us after a full day of exploring Tianmen Mountain; we could just relax without having to wait around for laundry. Seriously, it's fantastic! For the off-season, the price and service are definitely worth it. Five-star rating!

The staff are very helpful and accommodating, the rooms are spacious, clean, and new (or newly renovated), and the location is central and easy to walk or DiDi from We stayed one night in a regular room and one night in the room with the tub. The tub is humongous! Easily fits 2 people lying straight. Included in options for free tea service is a pot of their local specialty, yellow tea, which is nice to try, or you can pick some milk teas and desserts. The teas are good, the desserts and breakfast was just okay. There are food stalls and restaurants everywhere though, so you can just eat out or takeout and bring to your room to eat. Overall amazing place to stay while in YueYang!

Before checking in, I saw reviews saying the hotel was old and run-down, which made me nervous. I originally booked three nights but changed it to one. Even though it was a non-changeable reservation, the hotel quickly approved my request for a refund. However, after checking in, I found it wasn't as dilapidated or dirty as the reviews claimed. It was very tidy and clean, and not nearly as old as I expected. The river view from the 27th-floor bar is absolutely stunning! When I checked in, the front desk attendant was really enthusiastic and upgraded us to a river-view room. We could relax on the sofa in our room and take in the entire river scenery – super enjoyable! So, we extended our stay for another night, and they even gave us Zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). Five-star rating! I'll definitely be back to stay here again!
