The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing attentive service. They offer free laundry service, which is fantastic – you don't have to worry about it yourself; your clean clothes are delivered right to your room. The breakfast was excellent and varied, with different dishes every day. The braised pork with preserved vegetables was delicious, and the dry-pot chicken was also exceptionally tasty. The chef was very kind and lovely. ❤️ The afternoon tea and late-night congee were also delicious and exquisitely prepared. Plus, the hotel is only a two-minute walk from the landmarks, which is super convenient! 👍

I genuinely recommend the Xiangjiang Hotel! The interior environment is serene, and the retro decorations everywhere are very unique. The afternoon tea offers a rich variety of fruits and desserts. The guest rooms are meticulously cleaned daily, and the butler, Duo Duo, was incredibly responsive to any needs Xiao Xiong had. Next time I'm in Changsha, I'll definitely stay here again.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. I especially want to commend Ms. Qu Xianlin, a server in the restaurant, for her exceptionally thoughtful and enthusiastic service. She personally brought us coffee and fruit, which I found very touching. Thank you, staff of Sunshine Hotel! The bedding was comfortable, and the room was spacious and very clean. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

This hotel truly impressed us in every way. The service alone deserves 5+ stars. Miss Wendy (who is the front desk manager and looks like the only one who spoke English) was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and incredibly proactive. Wendy anticipated our needs, provided helpful local recommendations, allowed us to choose the room we preferred, and even helped us to select tickets to the national park without any hassle. The room had a fantastic view of the mountains, which made the stay feel very special. Breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10—with a wide selection and a beautiful view from the restaurant. The location is also a major plus: very close to the train station and extremely convenient for both the airport and train stations. As an added bonus, there is restaurants nearby, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere in the evenings. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. Because of the Wendy we extended our trip in this hotel for another week.

So delighted with my stay at the Chaocong Ancient Street branch in Changsha! Tucked away on an old flagstone street, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Step outside and you're surrounded by street food, and it's a short walk to Wuyi Square. The wabi-sabi style decor is chic and perfect for photos. The room comes with a Dyson hairdryer and Le Labo toiletries, and the bedding is so comfortable I slept soundly. The concierge service was attentive and thoughtful, breakfast was plentiful, and they even had a unique 'magic cube' event where you could swap for milk tea. So many thoughtful details! This is definitely my top choice for travel, I'll be staying here again next time.

A very unique and memorable stay in Zhangjiajie! We stayed 2 nights in the Morning Glow King Suite Bedroom. The highlight of this homestay is its cave concept. The reception area is huge, impressive, and beautifully designed, creating a real wow factor upon arrival. The property also features a cave restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be arranged with advance booking. There is also a cosy cave lounge for guests to relax. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Location is excellent. The homestay is hidden behind the famous theatre performance venue but only a short walk to the main street, making it convenient while remaining quiet. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a unique accommodation experience in Zhangjiajie. The cave setting alone makes it worth staying here.

Staying at Forest homestay was the best decision we could have made during our trip to China. The service was truly 5 star. The staff at the lodge are so kind, helpful and efficient. We got personalised itineraries each day that changed a lot based on the weather, which was quite mixed! I was very impressed by their efficiency and flexibility. Each day we were driven to and from the park gate (for free). Pickup was within a couple of mins of us messaging that we were ready to leave. All of the staff were wonderful, but Guo Pu was a standout from our trip. Not only did he cart us around and respond to any questions via WeChat within minutes, but he made sure we got the most out of our time there - he pulled fruit from fruit trees at the lodge for us to eat, showed us the various animals they keep onsite, and took photos of us at the sky mirror. He was really great at giving instructions for getting the best effects! (Photos attached) The room was superb - lots of great features like a heated air function in the shower that was helpful for drying off wet clothes after we got caught in a downpour. The room is a rustic style and there’s a few places that could do with a lick of paint and tidying up, but this added more to the rustic charm! The view really was incredible. The location of the lodge might first seem far from the action of the park, but trust me, this is a blessing in disguise! The park gets incredibly busy, especially around Yuanjiajie. The busyness really can ruin the natural beauty. Being close to the Westgate allows you to access the park from the most uncommon direction which is actually marvellous as it means you are less likely to get caught up in crowds and queues as you are travelling around the park in the opposite direction of the vast majority of the tourists. This really makes a difference and maximising the time that you have in the park. Because of the mixed weather, we ended up travelling most of the top sights in the park again on the single good weather day and this worked really well because of our direction of travel. The Westgate is much quieter and the surrounding area is much more peaceful than the busy area around the east gates. This allows you to really enjoy the peace and beauty of nature when you aren’t exploring the park. I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Zhangjiajie, and I’d like to thank all of the staff for such a magical and amazing time.

Harmona resort and spa hotel is amazing place for rest. Very comfortable, clean. Service is great. Daily cleaning. Personal is very polite. Resting here, we have really enjoyed. View is top beautiful. It is a little far from city, but it is worthy to stay here, landscape is unbelievable. Who is tired of city mess, it is ideal place for retreating.

Traveling with my parents and children, I wanted to leave a review for the room and service. Our whole family, from young to old, was extremely satisfied with the hotel. We especially loved that breakfast was served until 1 PM, which catered to guests with various schedules. My parents were very impressed with the window view; opening the window revealed the misty Tianmen Mountain. The hotel's location is also very convenient, close to the city, making it easy to get around. I particularly want to commend our butler, Lily, for providing detailed itinerary suggestions for both Tianmen Mountain and Wulingyuan. Her tips were incredibly thoughtful and useful – with Lily's guide, we didn't need a tour guide at all! Thank you, Lily!

This hotel is super conveniently located – quiet despite being central, within walking distance to the landmark gate, and taxis are easily accessible. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive; they gave our child a complimentary breakfast (which had a wide variety of options!) and patiently recommended sightseeing routes, always happy to help. Housekeeping was also very considerate, delivering late-night snacks and even a small gift. The hotel facilities are new, well-equipped, clean, and hygienic. All in all, for anyone visiting the National Forest Park, I give this a five-star recommendation!!!
