"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. A special thanks to front desk staff member Riri for doing her best to coordinate a suitable room according to my request. Also, the butler and maintenance technician resolved an air conditioning issue in the middle of the night. The professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the staff at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, from top to bottom, brought warmth and moved us during our time in Lhasa. There's no distinction of 'high or low' among people; hotel guests and staff simply have different roles and responsibilities. The key lies in how guests' concerns are addressed and the attitude and problem-solving approach of the staff when issues arise. We had booked a basic room, but because I'm sensitive to noise, Riri helped us upgrade to a quieter room. The air conditioning in our room would turn on automatically after being turned off. Around 1 AM, the maintenance technician came back and forth three times. Eventually, they decided to turn off the AC's circuit breaker and fix it the next day (which they did). Before we left, they even sent a small gift as an apology. Breakfast was decent, but I'd describe it as exquisite in presentation, bland in taste, and lacking variety. However, I've also tried meals at the Shangri-La Lhasa, the Crowne Plaza Linzhi, and the Songtsam Bason Co Linka, where some ingredients are even transported from Sichuan in advance due to special circumstances. The taste is generally similar across the board. Given the challenging environment, I believe they've done their best to achieve this level. Regarding some of the room's hardware, there's definitely room for improvement, and the hotel itself is aware of this. I hope to see improvements in the future. "Staying at the newly opened Zhizhi Hotel at the foot of Everest Town was an absolutely perfect experience. First off, it's rare to find a hotel here with its own underground parking garage, and the height limit was very generous, which was great for self-drivers. There are two elevators in the garage that go directly to the lobby and rooms. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even upgraded our room. The room itself had a Nordic-style, low-saturation decor, which I really loved, and the layout was very practical. We also received welcome fruit, and the staff even brought us two yogurts, haha. The oxygen supply in the room was excellent and pure. The breakfast restaurant had a wonderful ambiance, with clean floors that weren't sticky at all, and the tables were well-wiped. Just the cleanliness alone is a rare find in a hotel in the ******* region! Plus, the hotel is only a 40-minute drive from the Everest observation deck, so it's very convenient for serious photographers to capture photos of the 'golden mountain' at sunrise. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area. Keep up the good work!"

"🏠Bomi Songtsam Linka Hotel is located on the edge of Guxiang Lake. The location is quite good. Unfortunately, during the dry season, the water level of Guxiang Lake is too low. If the weather is good, the snow-capped mountains opposite and next to it are clearly visible and very beautiful😊. 🌧️The weather was not good on the day of arrival, so the hotel warmly provided hot towels, biscuits and ginger tea; you can get free postcards at the front desk, which are all pictures of Linzhi scenery. You can entrust the hotel to mail them for one yuan postage; luggage will be collected There are staff who help deliver the food to the room, so you don’t need to do it yourself; the hotel also provides afternoon tea, but unfortunately I missed it because I was busy checking out the attractions. Evening tea can be delivered to the room, which is the evening after-dinner dessert (white fungus and red bean paste), which is different every day. It's quite delicious, not too sweet. The hotel has a swimming pool. After all, it's on the plateau, so not many people will enjoy it😛. 🍃A group of six people booked a deluxe family room with lake view. The suite has two floors in total, with a large bed room on the first floor. The balcony faces Guxiang Lake and the snow-capped mountains. There are sofas, coffee tables and coffee machines in the hall (can make freshly ground coffee, The quality is good); there are two large bed rooms on the second floor, one is on the same floor, and the other is facing the outdoor corridor of the hotel. The room is too small and cannot fit two suitcases in the room. You can book tickets with Ctrip one day in advance. It is suitable for walking. The hiking distance is short, the environment is good, and the scenery is good. "Full of flaws, perhaps their prime location justifies the high price. The room wasn't clean; towels used by previous guests were hanging behind the door, and the shower glass was covered in water stains. The oxygen concentrator was dusty, and the sheets were stained. Despite the many flaws, there were two good points: first, the mattress was very comfortable—the most comfortable I'd had on the entire trip, and I fell asleep quickly; second, the rice noodles for breakfast were delicious."

"The most satisfying hotel of our trip to Tibet, even better than the St. Regis Lhasa! 1. The hotel is very grand and the design is full of ******* style. 2. The location is excellent, very convenient for visiting the Jokhang Temple, and there are plenty of dining options/supermarkets nearby. 3. A special thank you goes to Manager Shiyi, a benchmark for service in the hotel industry! She called beforehand to confirm (though I missed the call), and upon arrival, upgraded our family of three to a family suite (two bedrooms and a living room, ridiculously spacious). She also recommended Xiao Pangzi Sichuan restaurant to us (which was delicious!). After checking in, any questions we had were answered very promptly, and she even allowed us to check out late at 3:30 PM, so my parents could rest well before their 4 PM high-speed train. We are truly grateful! I've never been so well taken care of as a Titanium Elite member at any Marriott property! 4. The hotel robots proactively deliver takeout to the room, a blessing for lazy people. 5. The breakfast was unexpectedly good, comparable to the St. Regis Lhasa."

"I absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight."

This kind of genuine care is something you might not even find in a five-star hotel. The value for money was surprisingly good. Honestly, I expected a Hilton to cost at least several hundred, but the price I booked was much lower than I anticipated, even more cost-effective than some private rooms in hostels. The room was clean and spacious, with oxygen supply and a humidifier, ensuring a really sound sleep at night. While breakfast wasn't a lavish buffet, it offered plenty of tsampa, butter tea, and boiled eggs, enough to keep me full until the afternoon, saving me lunch money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and getting to the Potala Palace or Jokhang Temple costs just one yuan, making transportation costs almost negligible. After this stay, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not just because it was affordable, but because of the unreserved kindness from the ******* people. Next time I visit Tibet, I won't hesitate – I'm definitely staying here again! 🙏🎒"
