The room facilities were decent, I quite liked them. It's very close to the airport and the outlets, which is convenient. However, there's not much to browse at the outlets. The service was terrible!!! I stayed here for the convenience of catching a flight. I was supposed to be able to check-in and check my luggage directly at the hotel. I even specifically asked about this when I checked in, but the staff couldn't give me clear information. They didn't tell me that you have to check in from the hotel three hours in advance!!!!! As a result, I couldn't check in at the hotel and still had to go to the airport. And the staff had absolutely no attitude about it, it was truly frustrating.

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport and offers a shuttle service. When checking in, the front desk proactively asked if I needed the service and helped with the booking, which was really helpful. The bookstore design in the ground floor lobby is a real highlight; I personally loved it. The room and bedding were also very clean. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited. Though that might be because I arrived a bit late, around 9 AM.

We chose this hotel for our first night in Haikou because it's conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to enjoy dining, drinking, and entertainment. Since it's a new hotel, the hygiene is excellent – the towels and bath towels were clean and comfortable. The rain shower had great water pressure, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus! The bathroom has a dry/wet separation, and even the toilet area is separated from the dry area by a glass door, which is really nice. The breakfast buffet in the morning was quite plentiful and generally met the expectations for a hotel of this caliber, pretty good overall. The hotel's location is fantastic, very convenient for driving, and the parking lot is right downstairs. A special shout-out to the friendly young man with glasses at the front desk – he truly showed us the warm hospitality of Hainan people.

Fantastic Breakfast: Over 60 items available with extended hours (6:30 AM–10:30 AM), including Hainanese noodles, freshly made noodles, and a full selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Ample Amenities: Features a thousand-square-meter swimming pool, a kids' water park, a gym, free parking, and a shuttle service to the duty-free shop. Great Value for Money: This established five-star hotel is 30%–50% cheaper than newer hotels, making it perfect for budget travelers and families. In a nutshell: An established five-star hotel in Dadonghai, with its location and breakfast being the main draws. While the facilities are a bit older, they are well-maintained, offering incredible value. It's the top choice for families with kids and budget-conscious travelers.

The free parking is very convenient, and it's close to the Riyue Square Duty-Free Shop. The room is spacious and clean, the front desk service is warm, and it offers great value for money. I've already stayed here for many days.

The hygiene was excellent, clean and tidy, and there were no strange odors in the room. The staff were all very kind and enthusiastic. They even did a birthday setup in the room, which was a very thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were also warm and friendly. The breakfast selection was rich and could satisfy various tastes, including Zhaopo vinegar noodles. There was also a wide variety of breakfast beverages, with both iced and hot drinks available. The view from the window was quite good, offering a wide panorama.

Escape the monotony of typical business hotels; Mercure's unique French charm is simply captivating. The lobby features cozy, curved seating bathed in warm light, exuding a gentle yet sophisticated ambiance, all while a subtle fragrance fills the air. The rooms aren't ostentatiously luxurious, yet they reveal thoughtful touches everywhere: plush memory foam pillows, 'barely-there' bathrobes, and a separate wet/dry bathroom stocked with lavender toiletries. Every detail feels like a special ritual. Breakfast is anything but assembly-line; the freshly baked croissants are so flaky they practically crumble, perfectly paired with organic rose jam for that full French elegance. The service is attentive without being intrusive—a sweet note with turn-down service, and a scented sachet as a souvenir. It’s understated and comforting. No rigid corporate vibe here, just relaxed ease. For a hundred-something yuan, you get a light French luxury experience. A must-try for those who love something a little different!

Hygiene: A terrible experience. There was urine on the toilet, which made me seriously question the overall hygiene of the hotel. Service: My feedback about the hygiene issue was addressed promptly, and I was moved to a different room. They have a robot for room service and late-night noodle snacks. Facilities: The elevators are incredibly slow, with very long waiting times. Coupled with the room service robots using them, all three elevators had long queues during the holiday. There's a pool and a small bar on the top floor, but that's about it. Location: The surrounding area is very well-equipped with plenty of shops, large and small restaurants. I recommend trying the 'Lao Ba Cha' (Dad's Tea) and 'Hou'an Fen' (Hou'an Noodles) nearby.

This is a really comfortable hotel. Every time I visit Haikou, I make sure to stay here for a night. The main reason is their amazing 830-meter deep hot spring directly in the rooms – a soak there just melts away all the fatigue. The rooms are spacious and bright. Plus, the hotel is very close to the Qilou Old Street, just a short taxi ride (minimum fare). There's even an airport shuttle nearby. It's truly great.

From checking-in to the end of our trip, this hotel was an absolute dream. All along, the staff has been very accommodating and responsive. The room was clean and refurnished everyday. The hotel features a coffee shop and a restaurant with sea views, both offering delicious options. Overall, the price-quality ratio is off the top, it is one of the best hotels I've stayed in in China and would never hesitate to stay here again !
