Pros: + close to Haikou Meilan Airport + free shuttle bus to the airport (booking needed) + free laundry amenities + hotel breakfast (at Orange Hotel next door) + helpful staff who do try their best to work with what they have Cons: - severely understaffed (only 1 person working at the counter, no bellhops) so check-in was slow in large groups - ageing facilities - sad gym area that doubles as sauna from the heat - in-hotel restaurant and cafe was closed - no aircon in lobby and most spaces - greenhouse effect from glass and heat made everywhere stuffy during daytime - dusty aircon in room, needs servicing protip: as it is scorching in Haikou, please request an extra aircon card from them when you check-in, so you can keep the aircon working to cool the room while you are away. you get what you paid for, but it works!

This is a decent, standard airport hotel, very close to the airport. They offer a shuttle bus every half hour, though you can actually walk to the terminal. There's also an outlet mall next door for shopping and dining. The facilities are relatively new and have all the necessary amenities. Most of the staff are dedicated and helpful, though a very small number had slightly poor attitudes, which I can understand if they were on a night shift. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff, who were very warm, hospitable, and went out of their way to help guests, even providing a charging cable to a guest next door, which wasn't even part of her job. There was a faint lingering smell of smoke in the room when I entered, but that's not the hotel's fault; it's due to a previous guest violating the no-smoking policy.

The hygiene was excellent, and the environment was very good. It's super close to Qilou Old Street, making it easy to stroll around the area. The service was also thoughtful; whenever I called for something, it was delivered quickly. The laundry and drying facilities were very convenient, and I could even see the completion time on the mini-program on my phone. The cleaning staff were proactive in offering help. The room facilities were also complete and convenient, exceeding my expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again.

The hotel is indeed a bit old and the facilities aren't brand new, but that's not a big deal for me. Initially, there was a leak from the bathroom door, but after informing the butler, someone came to fix it very quickly. From check-in to luggage delivery to the room, the service was consistently good. The hotel breakfast doesn't have a huge variety, but the Western options are quite decent, probably because there are many foreigners (during my stay, about 90% of the guests were foreigners, with very few Chinese). It's enough to fill you up, and again, that's not my main concern. Now for the main point: the only reason I chose this hotel is its location. It's the only hotel along Dadonghai that has direct beach access without needing to cross a road. (While Shanhaitian, at the westernmost end of Dadonghai, is also beachfront, it doesn't have a beach. And Zhujiang, in the center, solved the road-crossing issue with a rainbow bridge.) This is incredibly important; it creates a true holiday feeling where you can enter the hotel and feel undisturbed by the outside world. It's that relaxed vibe where you can stroll out of your room in a bikini and head straight to the sand. Plus, the Southeast Asian resort style of the Gravity Beach Bar at the end of the hotel's path to the beach really adds to the hotel's charm. BUT, and this is a big 'but,' I urge the hotel to truly value its unique geographical resource and upgrade its overall planning. The upgrade isn't about facilities and decor, but about zoning. The pool, as the core area of a resort hotel, should be relatively private. However, currently, the pool is right next to the parking lot, which severely disrupts the ambiance of the main leisure area. Who understands the awkwardness of running into cars constantly while wearing a bikini? And that small convenience store next to the parking lot is also… let's just say, not ideal. Finally, some tips for others: 1. Nanhai is on the easternmost side of Dadonghai, which is relatively quiet. If you like lively beach bars, I recommend staying on the west side. 2. When choosing a room, definitely opt for Building B, facing the pool and the sea. 3. There's a children's play area with climbing frames and such in front of the villa section. The sand here is very fine, and there are many small sand crabs, easy to catch (remember to release them, cherish life!). Compared to the 168 RMB I spent in Yalong Bay for someone to help me catch sand crabs, that was an absolute rip-off!

This is a really comfortable hotel. Every time I visit Haikou, I make sure to stay here for a night. The main reason is their amazing 830-meter deep hot spring directly in the rooms – a soak there just melts away all the fatigue. The rooms are spacious and bright. Plus, the hotel is very close to the Qilou Old Street, just a short taxi ride (minimum fare). There's even an airport shuttle nearby. It's truly great.

We had a truly wonderful 3-night stay at Park Plaza (LiTing), Wenchang, Hainan. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and professional, making us feel immediately welcome and well taken care of. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet environment, which allowed us to rest well after our daily outings. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and everything was conveniently arranged. The location is also a great advantage—peaceful yet accessible, making it easy for us to explore Wenchang without hassle. What truly stood out was the excellent service from the staff. They were always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any request, which made a big difference to our overall experience. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wenchang. We would definitely return again in the future!

This sea-view B&B is absolutely fantastic! The service is attentive and efficient, and the cleanliness is sparkling. The environment is wonderfully quiet and healing, with top-notch sea views. All the facilities are complete and convenient to use. We didn't want to leave after staying here. Five stars!

Got a free upgrade which was fabulous! Xiaochen helped us out a lot, she even let us keep our room (which is larger than what we book) when we ask for an extended day. Room is more than enough for 3 girls. All requests were catered shortly after we raise them with reception. Breakfast was ok but with price given, this stay is very worth-it! Location-wise, very near Nanya Mall and Haiwang Mall, you can have a short walk to all amenities and food you looking for. Qilou Old Street took us 10 mins by taxi. Love the stay and the staff, definitely will book for next trip to Haikou.

The hotel's location is right in the city center, and the atmosphere is really nice. The facilities are comprehensive, and I absolutely love the decor, especially the lobby and restaurant – it has a simple yet sophisticated old-money aesthetic. This was my first stay at this hotel, and my room even got upgraded! Both the decorations and the spaciousness were excellent, and the hygiene was top-notch. It's super convenient for getting around, with everything within walking distance.
