"Very good stay in general. Around 10 minutes walk from all the day trip pick up locations (e.g. Brooke Street Pier). The facilities were amazing and the front desk staff members were all very supportive and helpful. Loved the welcome cookies!! The room was big and we received daily clean ups. We visited the pool and also utilised the gym during our stay as well - very good facilities. The bathroom wall was a bit think as we could vaguely hear people next door, but the room was completely fine - could not hear a thing. Would recommend to all types of travellers and will definitely stay again if we are visiting Hobart again!"

"It’s an amazing experience staying in MACq, especially if you rent an electric car, their valet parking will help you to recharge your car when you finish your day, which makes you really hustle free time handle the parking and refilling gasoline. "Since we arrived in the early hours of the morning, the hotel was very accommodating. Knowing my wife is pregnant, they allowed us to check in a little early so she could rest properly. Overall, it was good, aside from some noise. However, I think this is due to poor soundproofing, which seems to be a common issue across Australia. Essentially, it's very convenient, with a bus stop and light rail station right downstairs, making it easy to get to different attractions."

"I've been to Australia three times, but this was my first trip to Tasmania. I traveled solo, taking a 2.5-hour drive from Hobart to Launceston in the north. I stayed at this Best Western Plus for two nights, and my overall experience was very good. **Cleanliness:** Very clean, and housekeeping cleans daily. If you're staying multiple nights and don't need cleaning the next day, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your doorknob, and they'll give you an 8 AUD meal voucher for breakfast at the restaurant. **Facilities:** Standardized beds and a bathroom. The room was spacious, very comfortable for one person. The bathroom had bath towels, regular towels, and hand towels. Laundry supplies were also provided. The minibar offered free tea bags and instant coffee. Two complimentary bottles of mineral water were in the room, with additional bottles costing 4 AUD each. The parking lot 🅿️ was quite large. **Service:** Breakfast was a continental breakfast, including bread, butter, jam, milk, and oatmeal."

"They do not provide any indoor slippers, any bathrobes, so if you are going to the complimentary sauna and pool, remember to bring one yourself. Location is great, near to most of the attractions, cafes and restaurants. FOR CAR RENTALS DRIVERS: On site parking is 25aud and off site is 17aud, dont bother to request one parking spot tho, requested one on site parking lot few weeks before arrival but were told that all fully booked out when we got there and checked in. Luckily it's weekend, got free street parking."

"Good location, just walking distance to the main streets which closes very early. Restaurants are easily accessible. I self drive, nearest parking is of about 3-5mins walk away at $35AUD per night unlimited. I personally feel if i were to choose again, maybe i would just park at the nearest carpark beside, or park at the same carpark without using the hotel privilege, maybe it could be cheaper. This is because i only come back to the hotel at night and moved out early in the morning. Worth exploring if anyone were to try. Cleanliness wise, im not too sure, i make room everyday but theres some stains in the bathroom which was left on day1, still there on day3, but room and bed definitely tidied. Still worth to stay. Love the indoor pool and the breakfast is good too! (Ala carte order, not buffet)"

"This hotel is located in the Hobart CBD, surrounded by numerous restaurants. Enjoying breakfast with a sea view was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast spread included a variety of fruits, with the option to make your own freshly squeezed juice, which was a major highlight. Although it was just a fleeting one-night stay, the experience was excellent, and the King-size bed in the room was incredibly comfortable too."

"Stayed at the RACV Hotel Hobart for 4 days The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk. The rooms are clean and modern,the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant. Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink  in the lovely  lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace. The staff are all friendly and efficient. I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious. Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,"

"View outside the hotel room the superb, superb and superb. Inside the hotel area there is farm with animals, you can feed them by getting the food grains from the reception. The fruits farm allows you to pick your favourite fruits ie apples, cherries, grapes, plum etc as long as they are available. If the weather is good, you could have chance to see aurora and Milky Way outside of your hotel. In overall, everything is just perfect staying here. Highly recommended."

I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style."

Very good stay in general. Around 10 minutes walk from all the day trip pick up locations (e.g. Brooke Street Pier). The facilities were amazing and the front desk staff members were all very supportive and helpful. Loved the welcome cookies!! The room was big and we received daily clean ups. We visited the pool and also utilised the gym during our stay as well - very good facilities. The bathroom wall was a bit think as we could vaguely hear people next door, but the room was completely fine - could not hear a thing. Would recommend to all types of travellers and will definitely stay again if we are visiting Hobart again!

We had the most amazing stay here, all thanks to the incredible hospitality!We arrived at Hobart Airport after a super long and exhausting journey, and we were honestly running on empty. Melissa at the front desk was an absolute lifesaver! She noticed how tired we were and immediately went to work trying to get us an early check-in. Since our room wasn’t quite ready, she safely stored our luggage for us and text us the very second it was clean. That meant the world to us!She also gave us a fantastic, super detailed rundown of all the hotel facilities. To make things even better, our room had a stunning, super beautiful view of the lake. We couldn't take our eyes off it!

I've been to Australia three times, but this was my first trip to Tasmania. I traveled solo, taking a 2.5-hour drive from Hobart to Launceston in the north. I stayed at this Best Western Plus for two nights, and my overall experience was very good. **Cleanliness:** Very clean, and housekeeping cleans daily. If you're staying multiple nights and don't need cleaning the next day, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your doorknob, and they'll give you an 8 AUD meal voucher for breakfast at the restaurant. **Facilities:** Standardized beds and a bathroom. The room was spacious, very comfortable for one person. The bathroom had bath towels, regular towels, and hand towels. Laundry supplies were also provided. The minibar offered free tea bags and instant coffee. Two complimentary bottles of mineral water were in the room, with additional bottles costing 4 AUD each. The parking lot 🅿️ was quite large. **Service:** Breakfast was a continental breakfast, including bread, butter, jam, milk, and oatmeal.

The hotel service was excellent, the location was perfect, and the parking was very convenient. The room was very stylish, with automatic curtains and many thoughtful features that made the stay very comfortable. The restaurant was also very good. Overall, it was a wonderful experience

Since we arrived in the early hours of the morning, the hotel was very accommodating. Knowing my wife is pregnant, they allowed us to check in a little early so she could rest properly. Overall, it was good, aside from some noise. However, I think this is due to poor soundproofing, which seems to be a common issue across Australia. Essentially, it's very convenient, with a bus stop and light rail station right downstairs, making it easy to get to different attractions.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mövenpick Hobart! The location is perfect—everything in the city is within walking distance. The room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable with a great view. The staff were warm and welcoming, making check-in and the whole stay effortless. The daily Chocolate Hour was definitely a highlight and such a fun touch! Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Hobart. Highly recommended!

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Stayed at the RACV Hotel Hobart for 4 days The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk. The rooms are clean and modern,the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant. Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink  in the lovely  lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace. The staff are all friendly and efficient. I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious. Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Hobart city center. Downstairs, there are numerous shops like Myer, Arc'teryx, The North Face, and the Machimachi bubble tea shop, making shopping very convenient. The staff were friendly, and check-in was smooth. The room size was moderate, and the view was great, but the windows were quite dirty, which affected the viewing experience—something that needs attention. The breakfast was very plentiful, with a wide variety of choices and well-balanced nutrition. Housekeeping was done daily, and the cleanliness was good. You need to use your card to access the elevators, so security is not an issue. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low and could use improvement.

Good location, just walking distance to the main streets which closes very early. Restaurants are easily accessible. I self drive, nearest parking is of about 3-5mins walk away at $35AUD per night unlimited. I personally feel if i were to choose again, maybe i would just park at the nearest carpark beside, or park at the same carpark without using the hotel privilege, maybe it could be cheaper. This is because i only come back to the hotel at night and moved out early in the morning. Worth exploring if anyone were to try. Cleanliness wise, im not too sure, i make room everyday but theres some stains in the bathroom which was left on day1, still there on day3, but room and bed definitely tidied. Still worth to stay. Love the indoor pool and the breakfast is good too! (Ala carte order, not buffet)
