After half a month of traveling, this is by far the most comfortable place I've stayed. The decor has its own unique style, not like those generic hotels you see everywhere. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the lighting and little trinkets. Plus, all the amenities work perfectly and are super convenient – everything you need is there. The shower has great water pressure, the hairdryer is effective, and the Wi-Fi is incredibly fast. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and bright. It's perfect whether you're relaxing in or heading out to explore. For this price, getting all these perks is truly amazing value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next summer.

Facilities: Everything that should be there Hygiene: Hygiene can Environment: Near the Big Buddha Temple, not far from Ming and Qing Street, the hotel decoration is OK, the opposite window view is a bit poor, the room layout is ok, the bathroom is slightly dark. Breakfast is eaten at the Qingguo Hotel behind, by the way, the lobby of Qingguo is well decorated. Breakfast is enough, not very rich, breakfast is starting at 7:30, not very friendly to people who have to catch the trip early in the morning. Service: Generally, almost no, the package said that there was afternoon tea, I didn't eat it, and the front desk didn't say it.

Zhangye isn't a large city, so staying near the West High-Speed Rail Station is convenient. It's mostly residential around here, so the environment is generally quiet. Taxis are easy to find, and it's only a couple of kilometers to the city center, costing a very cheap six or seven yuan. The only minor drawback is that you have to walk a bit with your luggage after getting off the high-speed train. I'd recommend just taking a taxi directly. After a terrible stay in Dunhuang for the first two nights, I really put my trust in an international brand, and the management level is completely different. Hampton Inn isn't luxurious, but it has everything you need. Plus, the hotel is new, the soundproofing is excellent, and you can choose a memory foam pillow, which is great for people with neck problems. Also, the laundry room is fantastic! It started snowing in the morning and my pants and clothes got wet, but I was able to wash and dry them immediately after going back at noon, which was incredibly practical! Because I had a late flight, the front desk allowed me a late check-out, which was great. There's bottled water available on every floor, and plenty of seating in the lobby on the first floor, so you don't have to worry about lingering, and charging is convenient. The breakfast is decent, and considering it's around 300 yuan a night, it's quite reasonable. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel and highly recommend it for anyone staying in Zhangye.

I specifically chose this hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The entire hotel is newly renovated and stylish, with a great sense of design. The room decor is clean and elegant, creating a very comfortable living atmosphere. The hotel's location is excellent; it's very convenient for transportation, situated right in the city center. It's close to popular spots like Shazhou Night Market, Huyang Braised Flatbread, and Xiajia Hezhi, so getting around and finding good food is a breeze. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, with a good balance of meat and vegetables, making it great value for money. I also have to commend the front desk service. From check-in to daily inquiries, the staff were all enthusiastic, polite, patient, and responsible. They even gave us a free room upgrade – the service experience was top-notch!

Haha, they responded to our needs instantly, followed up, and even offered suggestions, making us feel incredibly well-cared for! We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we have a layover in Lanzhou! Lanzhou Airport is a high-altitude airport, and my husband was experiencing some mild altitude sickness – dizzy, no appetite, and a bit nauseous. After breakfast, I asked the restaurant staff if they had any remedies for altitude sickness. They immediately helped me inquire and then directed us to the front desk. Ms. Zhao Lina at the front desk asked about my husband's symptoms and provided some helpful solutions! With the hotel's assistance, my husband felt much better. Finally, we even received a follow-up call at the airport checking if his symptoms had eased – truly, thank you so much! The hotel is very close to the airport, and the shuttle bus was very comfortable. All the staff, from the shuttle driver to the front desk and the restaurant, were incredibly friendly. The only minor downside was that the room felt a bit stuffy.

We stayed at Home Inn Plus Zhangye West Railway Station and want to share an honest review. The hotel lists “non-smoking rooms,” but in reality this is not accurate. Guests smoke in all rooms, so even if you book a “smoke-free” room, it will still carry smoke odor. For anyone with serious health issues or strong sensitivity to smoke, this property will not be suitable. That said, the staff were outstanding. From the moment we mentioned the issue, Ms. 豆梦姣 went above and beyond to support us. She offered alternative rooms, kept checking in, and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. The hotel cannot control the behavior of other guests, but they truly did everything within their power to help. In short: the building and policies make it impossible to guarantee a smoke-free stay, but the kindness and professionalism of the staff — especially Ms. 豆梦姣 — left us with a very positive impression of their hospitality.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The location is superb, with direct elevator access to Mingjiahui Fashion Center, which is hands down the best shopping mall in Jiayuguan in terms of ambiance and experience. It's also a short taxi ride to the Jiayuguan Fort scenic area. The service here was outstanding. A big thank you to the front desk lady who checked us in on the afternoon of April 29th for upgrading our room – I'm just sad I didn't catch her employee number. The breakfast environment was quiet and elegant, and the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes that weren't greasy. They even made fresh wontons and noodles to order, tailored to your taste. Special thanks to restaurant staff member #39 for her thoughtful service; she customized our dishes to perfection. Even though it was a self-service buffet, she proactively brought freshly prepared food right to our table. On our second day, heading to Jiayuguan Fort, staff members #20 and #21 helped us arrange for the hotel's MPV business van. The 6-seater van was incredibly comfortable, and the drive was very smooth – a big thanks to the driver as well. When we checked out, they, along with the supervisor, prepared special Jiayuguan souvenirs and some snacks for our upcoming journey, which was going to be a bit hectic. The room maintenance was impeccable; there were no noticeable issues with our stay experience. After we offered some suggestions for further improvement, the hotel promptly organized a review and provided feedback. My thanks to room attendant #51 for calling to inquire about the details, and also to the supervisor for speaking with us directly and personally looking into our suggestions. Thank you to all the wonderful ladies for their care, which made our first visit to Jiayuguan a joyful memory and made us feel truly at home. I hope the hotel enjoys thriving business in the future, and I wish all the staff members continued success and well-being.

This guesthouse is located in a village in Dunhuang, and it might feel a bit out of the way on your first visit. However, it's very close to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake, making it quite convenient for sightseeing. The environment is relatively quiet, with the courtyard surrounded by fruit trees, creating a very relaxing atmosphere overall. Upon check-in, I found the room to be very clean, and there were no issues with the bedding or the bathroom. They even provided makeup remover wipes and alcohol pads in the room, which are small things you don't usually think about but come in handy for wiping down your phone or hands after a day out. The common areas are well-designed, and the infinity pool makes for great photos. It's also pleasant to just sit in the courtyard, sip coffee, and relax. The guys at the front desk were quite enthusiastic; they helped with luggage, recommended local eateries, and generally assisted with any requests. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but everything is freshly made and tastes good. They also offer coffee and craft beer, and it's lovely to sit in the courtyard in the evening with a breeze. If I had one minor quibble, it's that the restaurants recommended by the front desk, while delicious, had quite long wait times. Overall, this is a very thoughtful guesthouse, perfect for those who want to take their time exploring and staying in Dunhuang.

Traveling to Zhangye with two kids, I was impressed by the service from the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance. I completely forgot about our luggage in the taxi, but the security guard at the door kindly helped me carry it all the way to our room. The room itself was clean and tidy. Honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with the service here; everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic. After all, isn't good service and a pleasant environment what you look for in a hotel? In the evening, they even brought us snacks and treats. Because I had children, they also gave us some small toys, which was incredibly thoughtful. They even prepared foot-soaking tubs and cucumber masks for us in the evening – my kids and I were practically fighting over who got to use them! Highly recommended!

Traveling independently, I chose the Ibis hotel closest to Jiayuguan train station. The room was great! Even though we arrived in the early hours, the staff were considerate and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and I especially liked the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Thumbs up!
