"I'm quite particular about choosing rooms, and this place, both in terms of cleanliness and environment, met my expectations. The room was very spacious! It had a toilet, but the showers were communal, with separate facilities for men and women. Initially, I was a bit hesitant, but I arrived two days before the National Day holiday, so there weren't many people. When I showered, I was all alone! The hot spring water was also very comfortable, and the conditioner in the shower room was amazing – my hair felt so nourished and smooth afterwards! (See photo 8!) I wanted to ask the owner for the brand, but I forgot before leaving. The public areas of the inn were also very clean. You have to change into slippers upon entering, and you can bring your own. The owner is Chinese, so communication was very easy. In the morning, we couldn't get a taxi, and it was the owner's friend who drove us to the station. The price was cheaper than a taxi, and he patiently helped us check the nearest bus schedule to Tokyo and even found a super cheap place to store our luggage. They were truly wonderful and warm-hearted people! Although we chose a mountain view room, we didn't get to see Mount Fuji due to the weather, but soaking in the hot springs was still very comfortable! I'll definitely come back if I have the chance."

"Very nice hotel, conveniently located 400 meters away from the Fujikyu-Highland Station, located about 400 meters away, as well as the Fuji Q highlands (amusement park). There's also a Lawson next to the train station, where you can grab snacks, as well as a variety of Japanese restaurants nearby. The highlight of this hotel was the rooftop onsen that was big enough to fit a lot of people, never feeling too crowded. There's also a mega supermarket 10 mins walk away from the hotel where you can buy anything you can think of, ranging from daily necessities like bread, shampoo, fresh sashimi, to camping equipment. Highly recommend!"

"The location is quite convenient, facing Lake Yamanaka and backed by Mount Fuji. Right outside the door is the bus stop shown in Picture 1, and the bus station back to Shinjuku is in Picture 5, just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The hotel is located on the south shore of Lake Yamanaka, and you can take a bus from the front door to Asahigaoka and Hirano. There are also a few restaurants and cafes nearby. The 7-Eleven at Lake Yamanaka is about a ten-minute walk away. It's quite pleasant to take a walk after dinner. On the night of our stay, Lake Yamanaka was only 18 degrees Celsius, which was wonderfully cool."

"The hotel room is very modern, the health is good, the room is equipped with a massage hot spring bath, it is very convenient to soak in the room! The staff is very caring, the service is attentive and thoughtful, the food tastes super good 😋😋 I stayed for two consecutive nights and the meal was not repeated. I thought it was a general buffet breakfast, but there is a designated table with the room, and the food tastes good, the preparation is attentive, it is a good buffet breakfast. "I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mount Fuji. The highlight was definitely the view from my room's balcony, where I could see both Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanakako. Waking up to such a beautiful scenery was unforgettable. I also loved that the room had a tatami corner—it quickly became my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the view. The hotel has two outdoor onsen, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining area provided a stunning view of Mt. Fuji while enjoying the meal. The hotel is located on top of a hill, so getting there by public transportation can be a little challenging. As a solo traveler without a car, I really appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which picked me up from the 7-Eleven at the bottom of the hill. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would happily return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji."

"We spent our anniversary with my girlfriend in Kaneyamaen, and our experience was above and beyond. Starting with the shuttle option provided by the hotel from Mishima station, which also took us to Oshino hakkai, what a gorgeous place, before ending up at the hotel. We were really satisfied of our driver who shared facts about Yamanashi prefecture and Fuji. Our check-in process was also a really nice experience. From the moment we arrived we felt the hospitality of the hotel service crew. They escorted us to our room and helped with our luggage. Staying at a Sanri-Comfort Western Room, we had access to 2 lounges, where in one of them we had access to many kind of amazing wine from Yamanashi, among other tasty snacks. We choose our yukata and headed for matcha tasting. This is located in another part of the building which also gives us a peak at the wonderful garden. The matcha and snack we received helped us settle in with the calm garden view. Then came dinner. My god, the dinner was above and beyond. Neither of us had an 8 course dinner before with such a perfect service and absolutely amazing food. Hats of to the restaurant and service crew. Truly impressed. We decided to walk of the calories in the hotels beautiful garden at night. The illumination creates a really romantic experience. After this, we attended the Taiko drum show, which is organized by the hotel crew. First time for me and I can say it definitely made our experience even more special. Fantastic work. Then the star of the show. The open-air bath on the balcony. The sight of Mt. Fuji early morning from the bath, was a magical experience which we'll never forget. The buffet breakfast provides a great selection of food and drinks, rest assured we left very pleased. All in all, this was an extraordinary stay for us. Nothing but max points. Wish we'll have the chance to visit again."
