"Το μέρος είναι τέλειο! Ήρθα μόνη μου γιατί ήθελα να πάω ένα μέρος να ξεφύγω από εκεί που δεν θα με ενοχλούσε πολύ τα βράδια. Ως ένας ταξιδιώτης, μπορεί να είναι δύσκολο να επιτευχθεί η ισορροπία μεταξύ μοναξιάς και μοναξιάς- και αυτό το Ράινταλ Χολ σίγουρα το κατόρθωσε. Αν θέλετε να είστε μόνοι, μπορείτε. Αν θέλετε να μάθετε και να μίξετε, αυτό είναι πολύ πιθανό. Η τοποθεσία είναι φανταστική - μπορείτε να φτάσετε σε πολλά μεγάλα ίχνη πριν πάρετε πολύ δουλειά (και να πάτε για κολύμπι το πρωί στο κοντινό καταρράκτη). Η υπηρεσία πρωινού και δείπνου είναι νόστιμη και εύλογα φθηνή - είναι πλήρως επαρκής για να σας κρατήσει να πηγαίνετε όλη μέρα. Οι πηγές είναι όμορφες και γεμάτες τοπική ιστορία. Τα δωμάτια ενός ατόμου είναι μικρά, αλλά άνετα και καθαρά. Μου άρεσε ιδιαίτερα η βιβλιοθήκη - είναι ιδανικό τόσο για ανάγνωση όσο και για γραφή. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι πολύ ήσυχο τη νύχτα. Δεν μπορώ να ευχαριστήσω το προσωπικό για την καλοσύνη τους. Έτσι, ανυπομονώ πολύ για την επόμενη επίσκεψή μου."

"When in Ambleside last Christmas we enjoyed a fabulous meal at this wonderful hotel, we enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to stay for 2 nights in August, what a great decision. Our room was absolutely stunning, huge bed with crisp luxurious linen, lots of storage space, 2 fabulously comfy chairs in front of patio doors to enjoy the beautifully kept garden, large patio with table and chairs, enormous bathroom with a shower so large it could literally fit a family of four, a huge roll top bath that was very welcome after a long walk, local toiletries from the Bath House in Ambleside and wallpaper that was a work of art. We felt completely pampered. Without exception all the staff were delightful, nothing was too much trouble and I love the fact that they invite you give to your name not room number when adding items to your room and then they remember your name. Breakfast was delicious, quality local produce expertly prepared, certainly sets you up for the day. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back."

"Me and my husband stayed for 1 night, check in was smooth and the staff are very friendly, using first names at breakfast was a lovely touch. Room was clean, spacious and airy. It was a bit hot with the window closed but a fan was provided in the room. Breakfast was lovely, not greasy and good variety. Would highly recommend a stay here."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cuckoo Brow Inn! It is steeped in history and has its own charm. The people were absolutely lovely and the location was perfect. They made my husband’s 70th birthday memorable. The bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent especially the Mauritian curry! My husband says the beer was grand too 👍"

"This was my 1st time ever at a youth hostel. I loved it. Felt safe had a good nights sleep. The food was lovely what I ordered. It was very relaxed. Very clean. I was amazed at how good it was. An I got a really good deal. I was in a six bed female dorm. There are private rooms also available. An you can go self catering."

"We had a fantastic two nights stay at Brathay lodge. The family room was spacious, clean and well appointed with tv, tea and coffee facilities and a large modern bathroom. It was great to have a fan in the room given the hot temperatures! Our room had a balcony to sit on which was lovely. We opted to include the continental breakfast in our booking which was plentiful and great start to the day. All the staff were very helpful. The b and b was quiet and peaceful whilst being ideally located for Ambleside, opposite the tennis courts, mini golf and very short walk from there to all the Ambleside has to offer. With its own car park and EV charging making it very convenient. We strolled down to the lake at Waterhead in just under 20mins. We had a great stay at Brathay lodge and would highly recommend it."
