"Excellent hotel, definitely a five-star review! I originally booked the Wyndham, but when I arrived, the restroom on the ground floor lobby had a strong, unpleasant smell, so I searched for another hotel and this one looked good. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was impressed by its light luxury style and sophisticated ambiance. The owner must have great taste and vision. The main entrance design reminded me of the Rosewood Guangzhou. All the different sections of the lobby had a fantastic design. The front desk service was excellent; they upgraded me to a suite, and the floor attendant was also very friendly and welcoming. It was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was abundant. It's just been too hot these past two days; I'll come back in summer or autumn!"

"First of all, the service is very good, the answer and introduction of hotel facilities are very detailed. There are also free snacks such as popcorn roasted sweet potatoes, because the roasted sweet potatoes are not ripe, the sister at the front desk also waited for me to be cooked, which is very good. "Extremely satisfied with this scenic hotel! It's located right by Dongjiang Lake, in Bailang Town, with absolutely stunning surroundings. From our lake-view room, we enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets over Dongjiang Lake every morning. The hotel facilities are comprehensive; the swimming pool's water temperature and quality were both excellent, and the laundry room, gym, and parking lot were all spacious. Breakfast was abundant, and I'd like to thank the lovely front desk staff for their thoughtful service. We'll definitely choose Ramada again next time we visit Dongjiang Lake. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants right outside, making dining incredibly convenient!"

"This was my first time in Chenzhou, and I had a very comfortable stay here. The parking lot was super convenient, and the bathroom was huge, as was the room itself. The heating in the room was excellent, and two breakfast vouchers were included with the room. The breakfast downstairs was also very rich and diverse. Overall, a really great experience."

"This hotel was in a perfect location as it was close to the railway station, bus stops and had lots of convince stores around! The staff were lovely and upgraded our room for free and gave us an extra breakfast card. The breakfast was amazing with so many options (fruit, vegetables, juice, eggs etc). I would highly recommend this as a place to stay when visiting especially if you are wanting to visit Yangtianhu Grassland as the bus stop is about 8-10 minute walk away."

"This hotel offers great value for money. Parking is convenient, and it's right next to the main entrance of the South Gate scenic area. I originally booked one night but ended up extending for another. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and the service is attentive. The front desk staff were very welcoming, gave me tips on how to explore the area, and even recommended local specialty restaurants, which were excellent. You can also catch the sunset from the hotel. Definitely a recommended place to stay! 👍"

If you don't want to rush your itinerary, taking a stroll along the hotel's riverside path also gives you a high chance of encountering the morning mist. I've also dug up some nearby activities for you! Go to Gaoyiling during the day to see the red Danxia landforms, enjoy the lake breeze at Bailang Scenic Area in the afternoon, and return to the hotel in the evening for fresh salmon sashimi that melts in your mouth 🐟 Staying here makes you truly understand what 'vacation' means. "Dongjiang Lake is perfect for a relaxing trip. My friend and I compared several hotels before choosing this one, and its amenities and cleanliness perfectly met our expectations. We arrived quite late in the afternoon, and the owner, a truly wonderful and hospitable man, welcomed us as if we were family. I have to commend his excellent service! 👍 The room's floor was incredibly clean – a real treat for someone who loves walking barefoot. The room had absolutely no strange odors and the air felt very fresh. It even had a fresh air and dehumidification system, and surprisingly, their fresh air system is the same brand as mine at home, meaning both incoming and outgoing air are purified. The duvet was very dry, and all the towels and bath towels were disposable, even the toothbrush cups! You absolutely must try their shampoo; I loved it so much I bought a set from the owner to take home – it's really high-quality! We slept in quite late, completely oblivious to the time, thanks to the incredibly comfortable mattress – it turns out it's a Mousse mattress! Crucially, the soundproofing in this place is superb. Even though there's a walkway right downstairs, we couldn't hear a thing. The scenic area is just a short walk from the hotel's downstairs pathway. We didn't get to visit it, though, haha. The hotel is located right by the river, so you can enjoy the misty views from your room, and even from the hotel lobby. I travel many times a year and have a fair bit of experience choosing hotels. Lantingshu is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, and its facilities and amenities are the best I've encountered. It's truly a high-quality establishment. Trust me, you won't regret staying here!"
