Ξενοδοχεία με balcony σε Νίκο

"This hotel is recommended. Great buffets with variety of options (japanese, western, tempura, wagyu). Fruit taste was not as good as we expected though and you might not feel excited much about the food after a couple days as they’re pretty much the same. Wonderful public baht with generous amenities provided. Pajama is not needed if you enjoy wearing yukata and sock when sleeping at night as we did. Staff were also friendly. We had a great time overall."

"Pretty nice overall. I stayed for 3 nights. The staffs are really nice and helpful. The room is spacious and has a really nice view, compared to the same price hotel near the lake. Just some comments on the meals. The hotel offers breakfast and dinner for my booking. Breakfast (mini buffet liked) options stay the same, I mean absolute same. For dinner, the first night is amazing, with chicken hotpot, steak, appetizer and dessert. Second night, beef Sukiyaki (kind of like beef hotpot with a sweet soup/sause and rawegg), appetizer and dessert. Kind of okay, I would say as I was hoping to see something more differerent and, to me, it is a bit like a downgraded version (not by far tho) of the first night. And the third night, beef Shabu-shabu (water based hotpot), appetizer and dessert. Quite disappointing as I would refer it more or less the same as second night maindish Sukiyaki but taking away the raw egg and sweet soup based. I would recommend staying for 2 nights max if you don't want to have hotpot everynight About the Onsen, there are one indoor and outdoor onsen each for men and women. Not too big, but the size is enough as there are not too many people using that during my stay. I am not sure if it is normal for Japanese Onsen but I see there is quite a number of materials in the outdoor onsen. I cannot tell what those are, kind of like dead skin to me tho. Not too comfortable with it (although I went there three times during my stay)."

"The accommodation is great and the staff are lovely. You can leave your luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The facilities are complete, and tea and coffee are provided."

"The hotel is old so you definitely see how dated the facilities are but at the same time you know they are very well maintained. My room on the 3rd floor was spacious and had great view to Chuzenji lake. The sulfur onsen was great too. Staffs are professional, especially those in the dining room. They are vey attentive and quick to response to your needs.  The only downside is the location. If you want to find a lowkey hotel to relax in a remote area, Chuzenji is a perfect choice. But beware that there are only 3 shuttle bus a day. If you missed the last shuttle at 16h40 you will have to catch the last public Tobu bus at 18h and it takes like more than an hour to get to the hotel. No taxi, no uber available."

"This was my first time staying at Lotte Guesthouse, and it was a great experience. The amenities were very thoughtful, including cutlery, kitchenware, a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, and even a washer-dryer with laundry detergent. It truly felt like home! The only minor inconvenience for my family was having to queue to use the single bathroom and toilet. For me, I didn't realize until I arrived that our room was on the second floor and there was no option to choose the floor when booking. Carrying heavy luggage up the stairs to the second floor was a bit of a struggle!"

"It was excellent in the location right next to the station and local shops. The room was clean as well as the toilets and shower - I wish that the rooms were warm - i was cold while in the rooms"

"The onsen hotel is near Tobu World Square station. The staff were incredibly helpful. I went to the wrong building, but they walked me to the correct one. I left my backpack there before check-in time, and when I returned in the evening, it was still in my room. The room was very spacious. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. The staff even offered to take photos for me. The hotel has a beautiful view."

"I don’t understand why someone would leave a negative review due to their own negligence. Trip.com clearly mentioned the additional 300-yen tax (I assume this is the onsen tax) per person, yet they still claimed they were “scammed.” My overall experience at Hotel Euro City was wonderful. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the shuttle bus service was amazing. If you want to get to the hotel easily, check the shuttle schedule on the hotel’s homepage so you don’t have to walk from the station. They run it every day at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 15:15, 16:15, 17:15, and 18:15 from “Nikko Station Hotel Classic,” right next to JR Nikko Station. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen in the backyard was great. It’s true that the room had a mild smell, but I assume it was due to recent pest control (it smelled like pesticide). Just open the windows for a while and it goes away. Breakfast was okay—not as fancy as in the advertisements, maybe because it wasn’t peak season. Overall, I think this is a very good choice, especially if you’re traveling with family.

"No problem with the check-in and check-out, it was easy. I was expecting the entire unit is one the ground floor, it turn out that only one tatami room and the garage is on the ground floor, the rest are on 2nd floor. It is no problem since it was only 3 of us, we leave our big luggage on ground floor, bring up only the necessary things during our stay. It is an unmanned facility, I am impressed with the backup supports they have. We got locked out of the unit because we used the garage roller shutter to get out and forgot to unlock the main door from inside. We noticed it only when we returned to the unit in the evening. We managed to get help through iPad in the check-in container house, the security staff came within an hour to open the roller shutter and problem solved. It is spacious and we have a wonderful stay."

"The accommodation looked exactly the same as in the posted photos. The staff were very kind and supportive throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here, and we would love to stay again if we have the chance to visit Nikko in the future. Highly recommended!"
