"We spent two nights at the hotel. Without a car, we were worried we wouldn't be able to get around, but a Maxim taxi took us to the hotel from Ranau for 32 ringgit and back for 22 ringgit. The room was simple, but it was enough for us to rest between trips to the park and walks to the Rafflesia flower in the village, as well as for lunch. The breakfasts were excellent. If you get up early, prepare, and enter the park before 8 AM, you can avoid paying the entrance fee."

"Overall, it is okay. The room is okay but no television provided. My room is a little bit smelly as there is no exhaust fan to 'suck' the air. But it is worth the money you spent."

"It was a beautiful stay. The view in the morning was amazing and there’s even a viewpoint for you to watch the sunrise over Mount Kinabalu. The only thing is that since it’s in nature, you need to drive out to get food. There’s a cafe in the premises but it was closed for renovations unfortunately. Also, there are a few stray dogs that don’t bother us, but we need to keep our shoes indoors or else these playful babies would take them and run. Otherwise, everything is great."

"1. Amazing Location – Located inside Kinabalu National Park (they're the only one inside) so you can imagine the fresh air and the amazing view. Wasnt sure if the mountain we saw early in the morning was the Kinabalu Mountain but it was majestic nevertheless.  2. Spacious Room – We booked the Hill Lodge with two single beds and included with the room are (i) two lounge chairs, (ii) one vanity table, (iii) one open closet, (iv) one balcony. Amazing space if you're looking for a quite and peaceful getaway. Sound proofing was definitely bad but since the location is in the park, you'll only hear birds most of the time. They're located away from the traffic. 3. Delicious Breakfast and Dinner – Breakfast is included but we ordered takeaway food for dinner from their restaurant. Both are amazing and exceeded our expectations. Plenty of options to choose from for breakfast and they also offer buffet for dinner but we opted for ala carte meals only. Nevertheless, both were amazing. Definitely recommended to atleast get their breakfast and/or dinner buffet. 4. Parking – Plenty of parking spaces provided right infront of the rooms. You dont have to carry your belongings too far. 5. Amenities – No fan/aircond provided but the room was never hot. Since they're located in Kundasang, their weather has always been cool. 10/10 definitely recommended. I would like to repeat this hotel if Im going to Kundasang again in the future. Perfect for couples and perfect for families too. Love the food, Im reminded of them again now ＜/3"

"This place is amazing. The rooms are clean and tidy. Toilet is clean with all the necessary essentials provided. There is bidet which is a plus point for us. We were lucky enough to get 2 rooms as we only booked the place 2 days prior. The hosts were very helpful and accomodating. Both of our rooms are ground level with patio. The place has a very clear view of the mountains. The breakfast provided is not buffet style but its still enough to keep us full for the morning. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and families."

"it was suites for friendscation and small family vacations. it has nearest restaurant just by walking few steps away. the parking lot was spacious and the it was not far from pekan ranau. the view of mount kinabalu was perfect but at that time, mountK was hiding behind a cloud. it was clean, comfy and we add extra bed and it fit for another bed. overall we were happy for our one night stay. will book in another vacation. thank you!"

"A really nice place to stay if you have a car. Clean and convenient. It’s a little run down but I would say that is part of its charm. The beds were very comfortable and the balcony too. Worth the stay for sure. Located near by the national park and AkiAki trail and not too far away from the town centre."

"2 hour drive from airport. Very close drive to the Kinabalu national park or about a 20 minute walk. Room is simple, rustic but clean. Beautiful surrounding and view from the room. Bed was comfortable. Perfect if you just want a good place to rest after spending the day in nature. There’s a cafe/lunch spot about 15 minutes away by foot."

"The location is great, right by the road and easy to find. There are many farmers selling durians along the way. Breakfast offers a good selection of both Chinese and Western options. There's a small town nearby with restaurants, so you don't need to drive. For being in the middle of nowhere, this hotel is quite good. It's also not far from Maragang Hill."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would like to start my review by complimenting all the staff ,from the receptionist, kitchen staff, to the housekeeping team. All of them truly deserve a 5-star award for their excellent service. The receptionist, Ms. Liza (if I’m not mistaken), was very kind and welcoming. I arrived at the resort around 2:00 PM without making any prior reservation, yet she patiently showed me every type of room the resort offers. After viewing all the room options, I made my decision, and the check-in process was smooth and easy with clear explanations given. The room was quite spacious, and an additional bed could be added with a small extra charge. Whenever I needed anything, I just had to make a call, and the staff responded quickly and efficiently. My stay included breakfast, and the food provided was good. For dinner, the restaurant also offers a variety of dishes, which is very convenient as guests don’t need to drive out to look for food. That said, I do have a few suggestions for improvement to make the stay even better. The beds could be upgraded, as they felt a bit old and not very comfortable. The Wi-Fi coverage also needs improvement, especially since the CelcomDigi network coverage in the area is quite weak. In addition, the television system could be upgraded. While the resort offers beautiful scenery to enjoy, sometimes the weather doesn’t allow guests to go outside, so having better in-room entertainment would be appreciated. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and truly appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality , I hope to visit again in the future."
