"Had such a pleasant family trip! The view, ambience, facilities, and service were all beyond awesome. Bonus: free breakfast for every room. A huge plus is that the place has its own restaurant, so we didn’t have to head out in the dark for dinner. I tried the nasi goreng tuhau and it was sedap! Prices are really affordable too. I know exactly where I’ll be staying next time I’m in Kundasang."

"Convenient location, especially if you need a nearby bus stop (the bus stop to Sandakan is a 10-minute walk). There's also a supermarket downstairs. There was a hair on the pillow :( and the shampoo bottle was empty, but they gave me another one and the staff was very nice and friendly"

"First time renting a villa and it was a 'wow' experience! It's quite spacious with three rooms, each with its own bathroom. The living room has a cozy atmosphere and offers a beautiful view of the complex grounds. However, as it turns out, things get interesting once night falls 😄. Unseen, giant Borneo insects tried to get into our villa at all costs, and unfortunately, some of them succeeded. So, our evenings were full of adventure and fighting to defend our territory. I should mention that there was no kitchenware in the kitchen area for some reason, but the hotel staff delivered it without any problem upon our request. The restaurant where breakfast is served is a 10-minute walk from the villa, located within the hot springs area. We were informed upon check-in that there's an entrance fee to this area, regardless of the purpose of our visit (whether for breakfast, which was included in our stay, or just a walk around the springs). This policy seemed quite strange to us, considering the high cost of renting the villa. The breakfasts were decent, and you can visit the restaurant anytime for a tasty meal; the staff there are very friendly and responsive, fulfilling every request as a team, with everyone being incredibly helpful ❤️. During the day, you can walk the trails in the hot springs area, and there's a picturesque waterfall nearby. We made it to the caves, which had an unpleasant smell, and didn't venture further due to numerous reviews about leech attacks. There's also a small, free-to-access butterfly farm on the premises; you can rent a hot spring barrel and swim in the pool for an extra fee. We noticed that this place is very popular, with large groups coming for the whole day, settling by the hot spring barrels and constantly eating. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The villa (mostly during the daytime) is wonderful, and the surrounding nature is vibrant, wild, and lush. Visiting the hot springs themselves is a debatable activity from a hygiene perspective. Would we stay here again? I don't know, but we definitely had a memorable experience living in this place, and what more could you ask for?"

"Title: Breathtaking Mount Kinabalu View, But Rain on Tin Roof Seriously Affected Sleep Pros: The room and bathroom were very clean. The most stunning aspect was the majestic view of Mount Kinabalu directly from the room – perfect for photos! The Chinese dishes at the G floor restaurant were tasty. Free parking is available, but you need to get authorization from the front desk staff first. Cons/Things to Note: Transportation & Mountain Road: The hotel is located on a steep mountain slope, so if you're driving, make sure your car has enough horsepower to handle the incline. Rainy Day Noise: We stayed on the 3rd floor. When it rained, the water hitting the tin roof outside our room made a huge banging noise, which was very disruptive and seriously affected our sleep throughout the night. Buffet Breakfast: It costs 30 MYR for adults and 25 MYR for children, but there were only about 5 dishes with rice and noodles. The selection was too limited and not very good value for money (though it was convenient as we didn't have to drive down the mountain to eat). The à la carte dinner dishes were a bit cold. Summary: The view alone makes it worthwhile, but I'd advise light sleepers to bring earplugs or avoid staying in lower-floor rooms near the tin roofs during rainy weather."

"The location is quite convenient, and there is ample free parking available. The outdoor environment is pleasant, well-maintained, and clean, making it a nice place to relax. There is also a BBQ pit provided, although guests need to bring their own utensils and ingredients. One downside is that there is no refrigerator in the room. The bed makes some slight noise, but it is still acceptable for a short stay. The room also comes with a small balcony, which is great for enjoying the night view. Check-in and check-out are quick and hassle-free. An ironing board is available at the reception area, and a hairdryer can be borrowed upon request. Overall, considering the price, it offers very good value for money."

"This place is amazing. The rooms are clean and tidy. Toilet is clean with all the necessary essentials provided. There is bidet which is a plus point for us. We were lucky enough to get 2 rooms as we only booked the place 2 days prior. The hosts were very helpful and accomodating. Both of our rooms are ground level with patio. The place has a very clear view of the mountains. The breakfast provided is not buffet style but its still enough to keep us full for the morning. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and families."

"Best spot ever if you want to catch a perfect view of Mount Kinabalu in the morning. Best time is from 6am - 8am. WVF also sediakan us breakfast, setanding dgn harga bayaran tapi kenyang dan sedap. The place so peaceful, senyap sambil dgr bunyi air terjun. Jalan menuju ke WVF dihujung jalan hampir ke farmstay agak ke dalam dan susur jalan berbukit, pls extra be careful. Di WVF ada kedai runcit yang serba lengkap ala2 spt watsons hahaha & they also ada sediakan add-on steambot RM25/pax. Harga byrn bilik setanding dgn accommodation & breakfast. Kakak2 receptionist sangat baik dan murah dgn senyuman. 😍"
