"We stayed at the Heishui and Siguniang Mountain resorts for three days and absolutely loved the butler service at Gar Manor! From the moment we got off the bus, we were completely taken care of. The butler eagerly carried our luggage and checked us in, making it incredibly easy. The breakfast was plentiful, with a mix of whole grains and protein. The warm black pig's trotters and stir-fried pork in the evening were a thoughtful touch. The most touching thing was that the butler even brought us an umbrella on a rainy day, holding it for us along the way and providing hot tea. These little touches are truly heartwarming! The mountain-view loft we stayed in at Siguniang Mountain had a fantastic view, with both floors offering views of the lake and mountains. On a clear day, the lake sparkled like diamonds, while on a rainy day, the misty clouds shrouded the place like a fairyland. It truly soothed me here and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

"I highly recommend the Heishui Yunhu Boutique B&B! The floor-to-ceiling glass design provides excellent natural light, and the views outside the window are picturesque. The facilities are modern and thoughtfully designed, exuding a high-end feel. The cleanliness is impeccable; it's the tidiest B&B I've ever stayed in. The butler service is meticulous and heartwarming. As a 'Golden Panda Certified B&B,' the public spaces are incredibly rich, with a café, book bar, and photography studio that are both relaxing and engaging. The hundred-year-old walnut tree within adds so much character. It's only 6km from Dagu Glacier, a few minutes' drive, and about 10-odd kilometers to San'ao Snow Mountain. The owner can also help purchase discounted scenic area tickets. Life in the county is convenient, making it perfectly suited for both self-driving tours and leisurely trips. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic!"

"After visiting Dagu Glacier with friends, I opened Ctrip and saw this Gar Manor B&B. It is close to the scenic area, but the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, a winding mountain road. Fortunately, the road surface is all asphalt and relatively spacious, not as difficult to drive as imagined. Although it is the rainy season these days, I didn’t expect the clouds in the mountains to be very beautiful, so it was not a wasted trip. The hygiene in the hotel can be said to be very attentive, and even those who are a little bit obsessed with cleanliness can be satisfied. Then the most impressive thing is the service of the housekeepers. They were very proactive in receiving us, and even their enthusiasm made us a little embarrassed. I heard that Heishui will be more beautiful in the golden autumn season, and I will come here to stay and experience it then."

"The room had one large bed and one medium-sized bed, and the cleanliness was acceptable. However, the drain in the shower was slow, causing the bathroom to flood after a shower. Breakfast was mediocre. The hotel environment was nice, and it was close to Dagu Glacier."

"The hotel is located in the center of the county town, which is a great advantage. The parking lot attendant was very responsible and helpful. I won't go into the other good aspects of the hotel, but I'll mention a few shortcomings: there wasn't even a small dish for the hand soap; the hand towels had holes; the washbasin had a crack with glue on it; the shower room was cramped for someone of my build; when I asked the front desk for an extra bottle of Nongfu Spring mineral water, they told me I had to pay 5 yuan per bottle; and the karaoke music from the room was so loud that it lasted until 4 a.m.... Ugh, I don't want to say any more."

"Upon checking in, I realized Gar Manor is located on a hilltop across the national highway from Yangrong Village, giving it a secluded feel. It comprises three hotels: Gar Manor, Huazhu She, and Starry City, all sharing a common check-in lobby and breakfast restaurant. Starry City is at the highest elevation with the best views, but the drive up involves very steep winding roads. The worst part was the daily ascent back to the room after meals, a 5-7 minute uphill climb on steps at an altitude of 3000 meters. I stayed in early November, by which time the colorful forests had lost their vibrant hues, and stratocumulus fog is rare in autumn, so the scenery was average and not particularly stunning. The hotel's facilities are quite good for a ******* area, but the management is too casual, not formal or serious enough, and the hygiene needs improvement. Breakfast had too few options and surprisingly no fruit, which doesn't justify the hotel's price. Finally, the road to the hotel from the national highway involves about 5 kilometers of mountain road with many sharp and steep turns. Although the road surface is well-paved, new drivers should be cautious, and driving at night is quite thrilling and not recommended. Lastly, the quality and variety of the hotel's dining options need to be improved. The high prices are understandable given the high and remote location, but the food's lack of flavor doesn't live up to the cost or the image of a high-end hotel."
