Facilities: The hotel's facilities still bear the hallmarks of its previous incarnation as an Ibis, with many signs of wear. The shower switch was broken, so I couldn't use the handheld showerhead. The transparent glass bathroom was inconvenient.
Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene was acceptable.
Environment: The overall impression was not good.
Service: I booked a window room, but upon check-in, I was given a windowless room that had a strong odor. They are not trustworthy. Some of the breakfast dishes were cold."

"Overall, I was very satisfied. The room was neat and clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a small mirror in the shower, which was super convenient for applying face masks while showering – a brilliant touch! I chose a room on the 7th floor, and the view outside was expansive and lovely. The environment was quiet, and I slept really well at night. The only drawback was the breakfast; personally, I'd say it only met a 4-star standard. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were very warm and even greeted my child when they saw them."

"Traveling with my parents, I was looking for a comfortable hotel, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The day before we arrived, customer service representative Xiao Hu added me on WeChat and provided details about parking and evening performances. She was very responsive to all my questions, which I appreciated. Perhaps because it was the off-season, our room was upgraded to a family suite (see video) with views of greenery from the window and a river just outside the door. In the mornings, we could hear chanting, which I absolutely loved. The hotel breakfast was just so-so, a bit disappointing. The recruiting efforts for Puyuan Fashion Ancient Town don't seem to have been very successful, as only a few streets are lively, though there are evening performances (see picture two)."

"The hotel is conveniently located near the Yaohan business district, with a riverside green belt right downstairs. It's also easy to access the expressway for trips to Puyuan and the South Station.
The hotel rooms and hallways are quite spacious, and the soundproofing is good. Our room faced the interior, and although there were many AC units on the podium, we barely heard anything once the windows were closed. Even the sound of doors opening and closing in the hallway in the morning wasn't very noticeable.
In terms of facilities, the two 1.5-meter beds are generally suitable for families traveling with older children. As it's a Four Points, it has all the essential amenities, but they are a more basic version.
The male staff member in the blue suit in the lobby was very enthusiastic. When the young lady at the front desk wasn't sure about the location of the Zicheng historical site and Nanhu Lake, he overheard and proactively came over to provide more details. Thumbs up!👍🏻"

It's the closest near 5-star hotel to my company and features an internal park that's also open to the public. The price offers incredible value for money, the breakfast spread is extensive, there are two gyms, and the pool is quite lively. I also received two complimentary cookies, and they kindly packed one of my two breakfasts for takeaway."

"Facilities: The facilities were OK and quite new, with air conditioning and comfortable bedding. The upgrade I redeemed for Ctrip points wasn't very meaningful; it simply upgraded me from Deluxe to Premium. The room size and layout were the same, though I guess it was on a higher floor.
Cleanliness: I was lucky I brought disposable towels, but when I opened the towel, I found a long hair. I don't know if it hadn't been changed or if it belonged to the cleaning lady.
The breakfast was unpalatable, with poor ingredients. Was the wonton maker the boss? He was also rude to the staff and had a bad tone with the guests. There was even a fly flying around, and the cleanliness was poor. The front desk lady was very nice and had a sweet voice, which was a plus. I won't stay here again."

A highly recommended hotel! It's super convenient, just a 2-minute drive from the West Scenic Zone, and they offer a very thoughtful shuttle service. The dining is a major highlight; it's not your typical buffet. Instead, they prepare authentic local specialties tailored to your preferences. Then there's the ambiance and culture: the unique portrait of 'Zaki Lamu, the ******* Goddess of Wealth' is a must-take photo op! Many small items in the hotel, from the raw materials to the DIY designed furniture and ornaments, are personally selected and crafted by the owner. Plus, there's a really impressive sound system. The rocking horse is a big hit with the kids, and the treasure-filled 4th floor has an art studio that's quite an eye-opener. Each room has different furniture, and the beds are all made from antique boat wood, giving each room a unique style. Some small decorations in the rooms are also DIY. It's not quite a guesthouse but not quite a club, and definitely not a club but not quite a guesthouse – truly one-of-a-kind and highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis is, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The value for money is absolutely spot on in every aspect.
I wanted a comfortable stay within the scenic area, so I booked an on-site hotel. After comparing several options, I decided on the Tide Resort Hotel. The moment I arrived, I experienced what true exceptional service feels like. There was a dedicated staff member managing the shuttle bus at the hotel entrance, and as soon as I walked in, someone was there to help with my luggage. During check-in, the front desk upgraded my room for free and patiently explained how to use the services included in my package. Later, I encountered a small issue and asked the front desk for help. Without a second thought, they immediately upgraded us to a suite after confirming the problem. They even had a staff member accompany us to view the new room and help with our luggage. We were absolutely astonished by their generosity and hospitality – truly a home away from home.
The room was spacious and very clean. There were welcome fruits on the coffee table, and the bedside mood lighting was lovely. It also featured a large bathtub, and the minibar was complimentary, stocked with various drinks and a bottle of beer. The TV offered unlimited access to a wide selection of movies.
The breakfast restaurant was huge, offering a diverse array of options including salads, breads, cold dishes, and fresh squeezed juices, all with plenty of choices. They also had freshly carved ham and steak. It's rare to find a breakfast spot that serves three different types of pizza!
In four words: Unforgettable and captivating.

It would be even better if the menu for dishes and drinks included English translations. The hotel's proximity to the high-speed rail station made getting around incredibly convenient.

HHarold LHRFirst off, I'm someone who's quite particular about accommodation when I travel. So, when I came to Tongxiang, I chose the only five-star hotel available. Let's start with the positives: the location is great, the room cleanliness is excellent – the housekeeping staff are very diligent. Someone even opened the car door for me when I arrived. All the expected services were provided, and the room was more comfortable than I anticipated.
Now for the negatives: I've lived abroad for many years and this was my first time in Tongxiang. In the morning, I asked if I could have breakfast in Tower A because what I eat isn't what I saw online, so I wasn't aware there might even be a difference in breakfast offerings between Tower A and Tower B. As an outsider, I didn't know; I just thought they were two separate buildings. The female receptionists all had good attitudes. However, there was one male staff member – I don't know if he thought I was being difficult for staying in Tower B, or what. I don't believe I'm overthinking his demeanor. I'd spoken with the front desk over the phone, and this gentleman, both before I returned to China and today during check-out, had a very arrogant attitude. I didn't get a good look at his name or ID badge because I was rushing to catch my flight, otherwise I definitely would have filed a complaint against him.
Overall, the experience was good. The hotel facilities, environment, everything was great. You can tell it's a well-established 5-star hotel with a lot of care put into it.

GGuest UserI was generally satisfied with the service from the main front desk across Wuzhen hotels. The accommodation environment was decent and relatively quiet. However, I wasn't particularly impressed with the service at the smaller front desk. Their attitude was okay, but there were many slip-ups in their procedures. For starters, I came down with a bad fever on my first day in Wuzhen, so severe that I couldn't even stand. I barely did anything that day and just went back to my room to lie down. I couldn't get up to buy medicine, so I ordered some to be delivered to the tourist center since it couldn't be brought into the scenic area. I asked the hotel for help, and they kindly agreed to deliver it to me. I was very grateful, but perhaps due to procedural issues, the medicine still hadn't arrived an hour later, by which point I was practically delirious with fever in bed. I couldn't take it anymore and asked the hotel for help again. That's when they realized the medicine hadn't been delivered yet. They rushed it over, and about ten minutes later, a staff member knocked on my door. I gritted my teeth and struggled to open it. He kept apologizing, and his sincerity made me reluctant to be too critical. Finally, I got my life-saving medicine. I provided feedback to the hotel afterward, and they handled it quite well, even giving me a small souvenir. So, I decided not to pursue it further. However, that afternoon, I received another call from the hotel saying that my Armani watch had been left in the scenic area. They offered to put it with our luggage at the tourist center, and I agreed. We picked up our luggage when we returned that evening and headed to another scenic area. It wasn't until the next afternoon that I remembered to check for it, and I couldn't find it anywhere. I even asked the front desk at another hotel and all my companions, but no one had seen it. I called Wuzhen, and after they repeatedly said they'd check twice, they finally confirmed that the watch had indeed been forgotten during a handover and left behind at the hotel. I was at my wit's end.

GGuest UserArrived in Wuzhen around noon, but didn't rush into the scenic area. First, I found a highly-rated restaurant on Dianping and enjoyed some white fish and glutinous rice wrapped in zong leaves with pork. The owner even gave us some complimentary fermented rice balls, which were delicious! After lunch, we checked into our accommodation within the scenic area. It was super convenient as a car took us directly to the entrance of Wangjingli. The room's decor had a touch of old Shanghai style! I absolutely loved the breakfast; it was a really pleasant meal. Strolling around the gardens within the complex was incredibly relaxing too.

CcherrysjmI booked the courtyard view room for a three-day, two-night stay, and for a staycation, it was a bit disappointing.
Service: The hotel didn't offer a butler service, and no one informed us about the available activities. I had to ask about the travel photography, and only stumbled upon the tie-dye activity by chance. I have no idea what else there might have been. The welcome fruit in the room was just the three items shown in the picture, not the nougat and tea mentioned in other reviews. Maybe my membership tier wasn't high enough? >_<
There was no pre-departure call, but I did receive a call asking for feedback after checking out.
For the travel photography, they offered 5 free photos, and additional ones were 80 yuan each, with discounts for bulk purchases. The photographer did a good job. However, the 'fine-tuning' felt like a one-click edit; a hole in the umbrella prop was still visible in the retouched photos, which was quite sloppy >_<. GGuest User1. Location - Very convenient and near the old city, dining is within 5-10 minutes walk, the bus to Hangzhou is also near, the entrance to Wuzhen scenic area is very near.
2. Room - the toilet smell of urine and I wanted to wash the smell away but there was no waste hole. Probably the housekeeper just mopped the toilet. The next day the smell cleared. AirCon is good especially on a very warm and humid day.
3. Front desk - helpful on directions and advise on buying entrance tickets, tips, and also how to buy the bus ticket to Hangzhou.
