"I spontaneously decided to take a road trip with my parents and booked this hotel the night before. The lobby and rooms were very clean, with a simple yet cozy decor. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was refilled promptly. I especially loved the wontons from the live cooking station – delicious! Overall, the price was well worth the experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area."

"The hotel's location is fantastic; a small gate leads directly to the boardwalk around South Lake and Haogu Pagoda, and it's about a kilometer's walk to Nanhu Tiandi. The hotel's public areas are grand, the gardens are beautiful, and the room size is decent. We stayed in a courtyard room with a small private yard. We tried both the buffet dinner and the Japanese restaurant, both of which were good. The pool is a bit small but still fun enough. It's a great choice for a family staycation with kids."

"Step out onto the balcony and you're greeted by the charming scenery of Jiangnan. The room's decor beautifully echoes the Jiangnan aesthetic, with blue floral curtains, wooden-framed windows, and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area. The room is quite close to the bar street, so it can be a bit noisy until midnight, but the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. The breakfast spread is fantastic and diverse, featuring local specialties like zongzi (rice dumplings), small wontons, pork offal porridge, and freshly fried items popular in Jiangnan, such as fried steamed bun slices and sesame balls. They even have mini shengjian (pan-fried buns)! The hotel is right next to the Moon River Historic Block, making it super convenient for going out and exploring the local food scene."

"Came with my kids, and it's great for ordering takeout; the robot delivery is super convenient, and sometimes a staff member brings it, and their attitude is good. The environment is also pretty nice. The only downside is the breakfast buffet, which is really bad and has very few options. Luckily, it wasn't crowded, even on a Sunday, with plenty of empty seats when I went at 9 AM. I suggest adding some chicken nuggets, which kids love, or prawn crackers. Everything else was fine, but the floor is really slippery, so be careful. Shery provided excellent service, and I'd come back again. Yesterday, I saw penguins at Nanhu Tiandi and absolutely loved the 'Sui Yin Ji Liang' there. Anyway, it's better than the Four Points by Sheraton, where you have to go downstairs yourself to pick up takeout, and the air isn't as good, though it is a bit more value for money."

The shower switch was broken, so I couldn't use the handheld showerhead. The transparent glass bathroom was inconvenient. Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene was acceptable. Environment: The overall impression was not good. Service: I booked a window room, but upon check-in, I was given a windowless room that had a strong odor. They are not trustworthy. Some of the breakfast dishes were cold."

"The hotel is conveniently located near the Yaohan business district, with a riverside green belt right downstairs. It's also easy to access the expressway for trips to Puyuan and the South Station. The hotel rooms and hallways are quite spacious, and the soundproofing is good. Our room faced the interior, and although there were many AC units on the podium, we barely heard anything once the windows were closed. Even the sound of doors opening and closing in the hallway in the morning wasn't very noticeable. In terms of facilities, the two 1.5-meter beds are generally suitable for families traveling with older children. As it's a Four Points, it has all the essential amenities, but they are a more basic version. The male staff member in the blue suit in the lobby was very enthusiastic. When the young lady at the front desk wasn't sure about the location of the Zicheng historical site and Nanhu Lake, he overheard and proactively came over to provide more details. Thumbs up!👍🏻"

After a friendly phone call with the customer service lady, the young and handsome Xiao Wan was already waiting for me at the parking lot, making check-in smooth. The itinerary arrangements were professional, detailed, and thoughtful. The service team was vibrant and caring: Xiao Fu, Xiao Zhong, Xiao Ai, and Xiao Zhang were all wonderful and warm encounters. GGuest UserFor our two-night stay in Wuzhen, we chose 'Jintang'. Upon arrival at the scenic area, we were greeted by the handsome and steady 'Xiao Fan' at the entrance. He arranged a sculling boat for us, which took us along the waterway directly to Jintang. Pushing open the two-story antique wooden doors, we were met with a striking combination of vermillion and emerald green. It was a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern. As I savored a cup of crimson hibiscus tea, Xiao Fan had already completed our check-in. He also set up our facial recognition for entering and exiting the scenic area. Xiao Fan then led us through the hall and around the landscape to our room. The room featured dark green wallpaper adorned with plum blossoms, complementing a vermillion bronze bed. With the tea snacks and afternoon tea on the table, accompanied by refreshing green tea, our three-day Wuzhen journey officially began. A big thank you to the thoughtful service from the lovely ladies and gentlemen at Jintang, and especially to Xiao Fan!

GGuest UserStaying at the Haining Hualuxe Hotel for my trip to Haining was an absolutely fantastic experience, a solid five-star recommendation! The hotel's new Chinese-style lobby is grand and elegant, the location is excellent, and parking is convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the smart facilities are comprehensive. The breakfast offers a rich variety, and the local specialty pastries are absolutely delicious. What truly stood out during my stay was Andy! His check-in process was efficient and professional, and he was patient and gentle. He proactively explained the hotel's amenities, breakfast times, and local attractions, providing incredibly detailed service. Communication with him was smooth throughout, and his responses were always prompt and genuine. He genuinely put himself in the guest's shoes to solve problems, and his professionalism and service意识 were truly touching. The thoughtful Chinese hospitality that Hualuxe is known for was perfectly embodied by Andy. All the staff throughout the hotel were warm and courteous; the concierge actively helped with luggage, the room cleaning was meticulous, and the accompanying pool and tea space offered an excellent experience. Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, Haining Hualuxe is the top choice in Haining. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Haining, and I highly recommend Andy!

JJeremiah AYHighly recommended for a relaxed, VIP experience in Wuzhen! We stayed for 1 night at the Wuzhen Club House (Sheng Ting) and had a great experience. 1. Cleanliness: Very good, especially considering it's a refurbished old heritage building with traditional wooden furniture. Everything was well-maintained and spotless. 2. Amenities & Food: The room amenities are basic for the same reason, but completely sufficient for a simple, comfortable stay. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise—quite a large spread of delicious local specialties. 3. Location: Fantastic. It sits right near the middle of the West Scenic Area (Xi Zha), making it the perfect base for exploring. The best part of staying inside the scenic area is that the late nights and early mornings are incredibly quiet, which is perfect for crowd-free photo taking. 4. Service: Absolutely outstanding, you really get VIP treatment. The hotel reached out to us before our stay to provide arrival info and set up a group chat to keep in touch. Our assigned housekeeper, Xiao Chen, met us right at the car drop-off point and guided us all the way to the hotel. He took care of everything—arranging our breakfast, ensuring our room was in order, and attending to our every need. He also gave us a great overview of the scenic area, recommended local food options, made restaurant reservations for us, and even walked us right to the departure point when we checked out. Highly recommend booking a stay here to experience Wuzhen at a relaxed pace with VIP treatment. It is especially great if you are traveling with kids, as you can easily return to the room multiple times throughout the day to rest and decompress.

GGinny YapThis was by far our favourite hotel during our trip (and we stayed in 5 hotels, some double the price of this). Initially I was apprehensive as I didn't really like the style of the room and preferred something simpler and cleaner looking but everything was so well done and executed, it ended up being almost impossible to leave the room because it was just so incredibly cosy and comfortable! (be warned haha.). We even got upgraded to a much larger room despite staying just 1 night! The river view from the window at night was lovely and the breakfast was abundant as well! Though we would have preferred if it was served slower as most of our food got cold since they were all brought out almost at the same time LOL. Hotel also has a gorgeous garden and the overall place is gorgeous! I also saw various reviews about the butler Xiao Wei and thought it might have been one of those review us and mention our names to get a free gift thing that's popular these days but nope. Xiao Wei really was the pièce de résistance of this establishment and made our stay 100% even better than it was 🥹. He was friendly and approachable, kind and extremely sincere in every way - and his service was by far the best we've ever encountered in any hotel around the world. On the last day I found out that Wuzhen specializes in a specific Chrysanthemum tea but I couldn't seem to find it. I texted him asking if he knew which shops had it and he offered to bring me to a gift shop that was located at the exit. Instead, he surprised me with a bag of it when I texted him just 30 minutes before checking out. We'll definitely come back and stay at the Eden Club soon! In fact, it would likely be mainly because of Xiao Wei and how cared for we felt hahaha.

GGuest UserThis is, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The value for money is absolutely spot on in every aspect. I wanted a comfortable stay within the scenic area, so I booked an on-site hotel. After comparing several options, I decided on the Tide Resort Hotel. The moment I arrived, I experienced what true exceptional service feels like. There was a dedicated staff member managing the shuttle bus at the hotel entrance, and as soon as I walked in, someone was there to help with my luggage. During check-in, the front desk upgraded my room for free and patiently explained how to use the services included in my package. Later, I encountered a small issue and asked the front desk for help. Without a second thought, they immediately upgraded us to a suite after confirming the problem. They even had a staff member accompany us to view the new room and help with our luggage. We were absolutely astonished by their generosity and hospitality – truly a home away from home. The room was spacious and very clean. There were welcome fruits on the coffee table, and the bedside mood lighting was lovely. It also featured a large bathtub, and the minibar was complimentary, stocked with various drinks and a bottle of beer. The TV offered unlimited access to a wide selection of movies. The breakfast restaurant was huge, offering a diverse array of options including salads, breads, cold dishes, and fresh squeezed juices, all with plenty of choices. They also had freshly carved ham and steak. It's rare to find a breakfast spot that serves three different types of pizza! In four words: Unforgettable and captivating.

2203893****I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of options. Some of the chefs also spoke English, which was a plus. It would be even better if the menu for dishes and drinks included English translations. The hotel's proximity to the high-speed rail station made getting around incredibly convenient.

HHarold LHRFirst off, I'm someone who's quite particular about accommodation when I travel. So, when I came to Tongxiang, I chose the only five-star hotel available. Let's start with the positives: the location is great, the room cleanliness is excellent – the housekeeping staff are very diligent. Someone even opened the car door for me when I arrived. All the expected services were provided, and the room was more comfortable than I anticipated. Now for the negatives: I've lived abroad for many years and this was my first time in Tongxiang. In the morning, I asked if I could have breakfast in Tower A because what I eat isn't what I saw online, so I wasn't aware there might even be a difference in breakfast offerings between Tower A and Tower B. As an outsider, I didn't know; I just thought they were two separate buildings. The female receptionists all had good attitudes. However, there was one male staff member – I don't know if he thought I was being difficult for staying in Tower B, or what. I don't believe I'm overthinking his demeanor. I'd spoken with the front desk over the phone, and this gentleman, both before I returned to China and today during check-out, had a very arrogant attitude. I didn't get a good look at his name or ID badge because I was rushing to catch my flight, otherwise I definitely would have filed a complaint against him. Overall, the experience was good. The hotel facilities, environment, everything was great. You can tell it's a well-established 5-star hotel with a lot of care put into it.

GGuest UserI was generally satisfied with the service from the main front desk across Wuzhen hotels. The accommodation environment was decent and relatively quiet. However, I wasn't particularly impressed with the service at the smaller front desk. Their attitude was okay, but there were many slip-ups in their procedures. For starters, I came down with a bad fever on my first day in Wuzhen, so severe that I couldn't even stand. I barely did anything that day and just went back to my room to lie down. I couldn't get up to buy medicine, so I ordered some to be delivered to the tourist center since it couldn't be brought into the scenic area. I asked the hotel for help, and they kindly agreed to deliver it to me. I was very grateful, but perhaps due to procedural issues, the medicine still hadn't arrived an hour later, by which point I was practically delirious with fever in bed. I couldn't take it anymore and asked the hotel for help again. That's when they realized the medicine hadn't been delivered yet. They rushed it over, and about ten minutes later, a staff member knocked on my door. I gritted my teeth and struggled to open it. Step out of the lobby, cross a small bridge, and you're on the streets of Xizha. It's quick to go shopping, return to the hotel to rest, or take a boat. No need for much walking. --- ⭐ Room: Clean, comfortable, with thoughtful touches We stayed in the Signature King Room B, which requires taking stairs to the first floor (no elevator, so be aware if that's an issue). The room size is adequate; after placing our luggage, there was still plenty of space to move around, not cramped at all. The air conditioning is central, with four modes: off, low, medium, and hard. It's sufficient but not very precise. A thoughtful detail: The room includes mosquito repellent spray + electronic mosquito coils. It's a water town, so these are very practical. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable to stay in. --- ⭐ Check-in Process: Smooth, not difficult As instructed online: 1. Go to the Xizha Tourist Service Center to check in first. 2. While there, book the next day's 'zaochake' (morning tea session). 3. The entrance tickets were already included by the hotel, given directly to us. 4. Luggage would be delivered to the hotel. 5. We went into Xizha to stroll around first, then headed to the hotel. 6. Upon arrival at the hotel lobby, they arranged for facial recognition scanning, allowing us free entry and exit from the Xizha Scenic Area during our stay. The whole process was very clear and organized. --- ⭐ Zaochake (Morning Tea Session): Worth it, but book early We managed to book the zaochake (I heard there are only 200 free spots daily), so it's recommended to book early. The food served at the zaochake is prepared by the same chefs who make the famous snacks in Xizha – they finish making the zaochake food, then go to Xizha to open their stalls. So, if you've already booked the zaochake, there's really no need to queue specifically for those snacks in Xizha; it's the same food. --- ⭐ Dining: Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, went to a guesthouse instead We didn't eat at the hotel. Based on a recommendation from a staff member at the tourist center, we went to Guesthouse No. 1 inside Xizha for a private home-style meal. The price was reasonable, the food was delicious, and it was the most satisfying meal we had during our entire trip to China. --- ⭐ Overall Impression In one sentence: Comfortable, polite staff, unbeatable location, and the zaochake was a highlight. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wuzhen and recommend it to friends.
