"The hotel is relatively new and clean. It's right next to Wanda Plaza, so when we arrived in Jiaxing at night, we just went to the underground floor of Wanda to eat and explore. The hotel is also not far from Nanhu Lake and the church. The photography spots at Huanxi Bookstore and the church are really great for Instagram!"

Finally, for a hotel of this caliber, I would recommend providing a professional butler service. This would make it easier to clarify important details and communicate as needed."

"During the Qingming long weekend, we took a self-driving trip nearby. The hotel facilities were pretty standard, but the breakfast experience on the second day was quite interesting. We arrived at the restaurant around 9 AM, and many dishes and pastries were already gone. We thought there wouldn't be much left to eat, but they gradually refilled everything! Especially at the fruit station, we overheard the staff chatting amongst themselves while carrying empty plates, saying, ”Why are there so many people? We're almost out of fruit, just cut up whatever we have left.” And then, several large platters of dragon fruit and watermelon were brought out. Overall, the dining experience was still very good."

I didn’t know if I didn’t change the grass or something. I didn’t dare to use it. In addition, there was no bag in the trash can in the room. "I booked this Atour Hotel through Trip.com and arrived around 11:20 AM, only to be told by the front desk that there were no rooms available and I'd have to wait. When I asked how long, they said until around 1 PM. I expressed my surprise at the wait time, and the front desk responded that the room had already been checked out of and was being cleaned, and they would prioritize me. So, we went to explore Yuehe Ancient Town. Around 12:30 PM, I called the hotel to ask if the room was ready. The front desk replied, 'Another half hour.' When we arrived at the hotel at 1:30 PM to check in, the front desk informed me that the room was still being inspected and I couldn't check in yet. That's when I really got angry! I told them Trip.com clearly states check-in is after 12 PM. How could it be nearly 1:45 PM and I still couldn't check in? The front desk coldly replied, 'Then maybe you should ask Trip.com?' I asked, 'Is this a presidential suite? It takes two hours to clean?' I'd already been waiting for a long time. 'Can't you just check it for me first?' Only then did the front desk go next door to grab a walkie-talkie and ask the cleaning staff if they were done. Does Atour only get things done when customers get angry? Secondly, during check-in, both guests had to tie their mobile numbers to the reservation, which I've never encountered before. If you have some internal quota or requirement, please just say so directly. Everyone can understand. I asked face-to-face why both numbers were needed, and the front desk just replied, 'You need to bind your mobile number; please provide the verification code,' deliberately avoiding the question. Finally, regarding the room we stayed in, after two hours of cleaning and inspection, why was the light switch on the right side of the bed broken and unresponsive?"

"This hotel is located in a quiet corner of the scenic area, away from the main tourist crowds. The rooms are spacious, featuring double sinks, a very comfortable bed, and a small tatami tea room. The space is utilized very efficiently. The bathtub is located between the vanity and the wardrobe, which felt a bit odd. The comb provided during this stay was quite good. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Puyuan from various angles and at different times of the day – walking, boating, driving, during the day, at night, or in the early morning. Besides the hotel pool and the water activities in the scenic area, the hotel also has a dedicated parent-child activity zone. The 'Jiaozi' (paper money used for burning offerings) seemed to serve no practical purpose beyond archery and guessing games. The meditation and healing experience, a major highlight of this Zen-inspired hotel, was truly excellent. It's suitable for all ages looking for a relaxing holiday, whether it's for tea and chess, or leisurely strolls. Both the scenic area and the hotel grounds are perfect for taking photos. On the day we checked in, we had some snacks for lunch: Happy Shumai, Haitang Cake, Song Cake, Dalang Shaobing, sweet tofu pudding, etc. It was fun to try new things and good for a quick photo op. For proper meals, I highly recommend the Meishang Hotel's own restaurants. The food is delicious, and the ingredients are fresh and well-prepared. We had the 5-6 person set menu for dinner at Meishang Chinese Restaurant (Meijing), which was incredibly good value. It was just right for seven people with moderate appetites. Our lunch on the second day was at the Meishang Hotel's Vegetarian Noodle Restaurant. The broth and toppings were simmered for ten hours, and each person received a cup of tea – another superb experience. Service: Excellent!"
