"The hotel is fantastic, located right at the village entrance. From our balcony, we had a beautiful view of the bridge. The traditional Lanmenjiu welcoming ceremony even takes place right downstairs from the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. The scenery is stunning, and the owner is exceptionally warm and welcoming. After we made a request, they went out of their way to show us rooms with the best views and even helped us with our luggage! They also helped us find an absolutely amazing driver! 😍😍 The driver even bought us ice cream – how thoughtful! He was so humorous and down-to-earth; we ended up using him for all our transportation during our stay. I will definitely be returning to Langde!"

"Just got back from Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and I have to rave about Tianhe Shiguang! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the west side of Wind-Rain Bridge No. 5. Step outside and you're at the Necklace Square and Bairiver boardwalk. Head up for the viewing platform, or stroll downriver to Bridge No. 1, all super close for exploring and dining. Even though it's in the heart of the action, it's surprisingly quiet, away from the noisy bars on the main street. In the room, all you hear is the gentle sound of the flowing water, which made for a really deep sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, especially the rice noodles. What really impressed me was the butler who proactively met us at the bridge to help with all our heavy luggage, both on arrival and departure, even taking our bags to Bridge No. 5 when we checked out. New rooms, new facilities, and smart home features throughout – highly recommend!"

"The butler provided excellent service. We had just arrived at the village and were unfamiliar with the area, but he maintained prompt communication with us the entire time. He even helped us carry our luggage up many steps, which was incredibly touching. On top of that, he gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Our room had a great view, was clean and hygienic, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Highly recommended!"

"The wooden decor in the room is absolutely beautiful, and the swing is such a cozy touch. The mattress is incredibly soft, even softer than the ones at Huazhu Hotels in Guiyang, so I slept wonderfully. The noodles made by the auntie for breakfast were also delicious! The owner must be someone who loves cats and runs the place with great care. You can see the thoughtfulness everywhere in the guesthouse, which is a refreshing change from the commercialized main street. I hope they keep up the good work! The staff (young men) were also incredibly friendly – thumbs up! I even stumbled upon a traveler's diary in the room, which showed such great attention to detail and was truly touching. The only downside is that the bathroom could use an upgrade; it feels quite old. When I checked in, there was water on the floor, and even after they helped clean it, there was still water on the ground hours later when I returned to the room, as if it never fully dried. Aside from the bathroom, the room itself has a fantastic vibe. I absolutely loved the swing, the viewing platform, the small bar, and the excellent service. You could easily spend an entire day just relaxing at the guesthouse. However, it is located quite high up, so it might be a bit challenging for elderly guests or those with young children to climb."

The surrounding transportation is convenient, about a five minute drive from Kaili South Station. The atmosphere is quiet, and the room design is ingenious. The quiet and beautiful atmosphere is easy to create.
"Upon arrival at Kailinan Station, the PIC of Leili sent someone to pick us up. She even recommended us places to go and to dine in Kaili during the short drive. To our surprise, all the staff of Leili are female! Wow, it was all girls power and we were so impressed of how well they have managed the homestay! The homestay is artistically designed and decorated,the ambience is so cozy, the rooms are so new and clean. Not forgetting, the staff are so enthusiastic and kind to share us some information about Kaili. The homestay even provided us with welcome afternoon tea sets which serves their local tea and midnight dessert (green bean soup). We just feel so home staying in Leili. =)"

"It was great to stay at this hotel on a rainy day! You can enjoy the night view in the evening, and in the morning, the smoke from chimneys and the sound of roosters crowing create a lovely atmosphere. I must say, even on a rainy day, the bedding and room weren't damp at all – a big thumbs up! The next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast, and the main dish was noodles prepared by the owner. The other items like eggs, milk, corn, sweet potatoes, pickled vegetables, and coffee were all delicious, and we got to enjoy them with a view. When we left, we forgot to tell the owner in advance to send our luggage to Xiaobeimen. The owner braved the rain and delivered it quickly, so we didn't have to wait long. We really appreciate it!"

"I'll definitely stay here again next time! The landlady is incredibly kind! We originally planned for three people to stay, and the room type we booked had one 1.8-meter bed and one 1.5-meter bed, but a friend came over unexpectedly, and the landlady immediately upgraded us to two 1.8-meter beds!! And! It was the same price!! No extra charge! And! They gave us four breakfast vouchers instead of the usual two (the breakfast was plentiful and delicious)! They even helped us hang our clothes to dry when we came back late, so touching! The room had a great view! It was clean, tidy, and had a great feel and style! The room mirrors and lighting were great, and even photos taken with the original camera turned out flawlessly! The rooftop view was also fantastic, attracting many artists to take photos! Having barbecue and drinks with my girlfriends on the hotel balcony in the evening was simply wonderful! We stayed for two nights and really didn't want to leave! I'll definitely come back next time! I'll choose this place again! I could never get tired of staying here! Finally, I'd like to mention the two male housekeepers who provided such a thoughtful and helpful service! In short! It's a newly renovated hotel with beautiful, spacious rooms, a private pool, and is very clean and hygienic. The facilities are excellent, and the service is very welcoming. The only downside is that there's a bit of a hill to climb, but the butler was incredibly kind; he personally picked us up from Bridge Six and helped us with our luggage the whole time. The homestay is located on the roadside of No. 1 Bridge, the core of Xijiang. The designer hotel is a theme homestay that focuses on the aesthetic space and photography scenes of the garden. It exudes literary and artistic atmosphere everywhere. The manager carefully designed and created the secret place of the cave, the garden cafe, the drifting tile house, the panoramic infinity pool in the air, the children's bookstore and other scarce scenes in the West River.
"A truly satisfying experience! The guesthouse is conveniently located near the drop-off/pick-up point at Bridge No. 1, making transportation very easy. A short walk uphill from the guesthouse leads to ”Pigsty Coffee” and ”Cow Shed Campsite,” where we enjoyed a very chill time sipping coffee and unwinding. We stayed in a scenic view room, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Miao village and its terraced fields. We could capture beautiful photos right from our room without needing to step outside. Complimentary batik dyeing and Miao costume experiences were also provided. We tried both and they were fantastic!
And finally, the highlight of our stay! Huanhuan, the guesthouse's host, met us as soon as we arrived in the Miao village and even helped us with our luggage all the way. She provided the same excellent service when we left. While transferring between vehicles can be a bit of a hassle, and there's a long walk from the drop-off point to the ticket gate, Huanhuan's assistance made our arrival and departure completely stress-free."

MM31609****It's really hard to find any faults even if you nitpick.
The day before check-in, a service group chat was created. On check-in day, the butler picked me up at Xiaobeimen (North Gate). The walk from Xiaobeimen to the guesthouse is less than ten minutes, roughly half flat commercial street and half uphill. The butler not only helped with my suitcase but even ”snatched” my small handbag!
During my stay, breakfast and afternoon tea were served daily at set times. We could eat at the guesthouse's private viewing area or have the butler deliver it to our room. In the evening, we were reminded to take a bath; there were Yao baths and bubble baths to choose from. The butler would come to the room and lay out disposable bath bags.
For photography, the guesthouse has some free ethnic costumes to wear. There are trendy beds and rooftops on the terrace, and the butler can take photos for us. They even help with lighting after dark.
Very satisfied, will definitely come again.

After entering from the west gate and taking the sightseeing bus, contact them and a handsome guy will be waiting at the observation deck's drop-off point to help with luggage and escort you to your room. The room is spacious and clean, with direct elevator access. All drinks and fruits inside are free, no hidden charges! Breakfast is a buffet and the quality is good!
My husband and I got lost in the village and saw many people struggling with their luggage in narrow, dark alleys looking for guesthouses. We're truly so glad we chose San Chun Li!

YYakabaweishouThe hotel's location is excellent. We took the scenic bus from Ximen to the observation deck, and a hotel staff member helped us with our luggage to the hotel. Coming down from the observation deck, there's a relatively steep path, but the advantage is that the hotel is high enough, nestled halfway up the mountain, so you don't need to return to the observation deck for night views – the view is just like in the picture. If you choose a hotel too low, you might be bothered by music and barbecue smoke at night.
The path down to the commercial street is quite gentle, so even with average stamina, you can go back and forth twice a day. In the afternoon, we returned to the hotel to relax and enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea. There was also free sweet soup in the evening.
Furthermore, all the bath amenities were L'Occitane Verbena scented. Aside from the hot water being a bit slow, everything else was perfect.

GGuest UserThe butler contacted me a day in advance. We agreed to meet at the west gate, and as soon as he saw us, he helped with our luggage and accompanied us all the way to the hotel. He even prepared afternoon tea for us beforehand. The hotel's location isn't far from the observation deck, which is very convenient!
The service was excellent. Since there weren't many people, they even helped us upgrade our room.
The room's view was absolutely stunning. I didn't want to leave the room; I could lie down and see the entire Miao village, with its water, bridges, and tiled houses, all from a prime spot. There's also an observation deck upstairs, which is definitely on par with any other popular photo spot in the village.
After visiting all the popular spots in the Miao village, I still felt that the view from the room was the best.
Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserService: The day before check-in, the housekeeper contacted us to provide thoughtful check-in instructions and parking advice. From the moment we arrived at the scenic area's ticket gate, the housekeeper helped us with our luggage all the way to our room, and on our way back, they also helped us carry our bags to the exit. They even upgraded us to a spacious duplex room, thanks to Cola the housekeeper – truly excellent! 👍 Upon arrival, we were given an electronic or paper map of the scenic area, and they explained recommended sightseeing routes and attractions. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea after checking in, perfect for photos. Most importantly, I had originally planned a professional photoshoot, but ended up DIY-ing two outfits from the hotel, which turned out beautifully, saving me hundreds on photography fees!
Hygiene and Environment: No need to elaborate, the location is superb, right at the viewing platform. You arrive as soon as you get off the sightseeing bus, which is very convenient. The best part is that you don't even need to leave the guesthouse to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Miao Village from your own room's viewing balcony or the hotel lobby's terrace.
Booking this place outside of holidays is definitely a steal – it truly lives up to its reputation! Many thanks to Cola the housekeeper for their thoughtful care.

YYujindaiwangThe views were absolutely incredible, even better than those from the observation deck! The service was also excellent. Since the guesthouse is located on the mountain, a butler provided pick-up and drop-off service for check-in and check-out.
The butler carried our luggage with impressive speed, while we, empty-handed, still felt a bit wobbly from the climb.
By the way, the Miao Village itself is quite commercialized and there wasn't much to do. Most of the joy from our trip to the Miao Village came from staying at this guesthouse.

The butler met us at the sightseeing shuttle drop-off point and even helped with our luggage when we left. Their service was excellent. The room was a bit small and had low ceilings, but it was well-equipped, even featuring a projector. Located on the hillside, the room offered a nice night view.

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

GGuest UserThis is a very cute room with Zen light qualities and a minimalist theme that complements the location. I spent hours just looking out the window admiring the scenery. I encourage you to do the same. People in this province are the friendliest and all of China. This is reflected in the hotel staff.Xijiang Miao Village it’s not an easy place to get to. It is not an easy place to leave. Therefore, the in keeper staff here went out of their way to make my journey a good one. When they were welcoming to the city, arrival in keeper tried to poach me away and had me climbing up 100 m of ancient carved stairs while carrying a heavy bag. I wanted to punch that person when I found out he was an impostor after climbing up to that altitude in sketch conditions. Be weary of such people upon arrival.
In contrast, this place is super nice and the staff is super nice . I highly recommend. But it is important to travel light when you visit this village the stairs can be very dangerous when wet, but they are super old.

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
