The next morning, when I was still half asleep, I heard the singing of birds. I slowly walked to the balcony, lay down on the sofa and looked out the window. It turned out that Xu Xiake's words ”There are so many mountains in the world, but only here the peaks form a forest” were true. The towering peaks merged with the sky, the wind blew past and I could hear the sound of nature. In the misty mountains, time seemed to slow down. While I was daydreaming, the housekeeper was very considerate and woke me up for breakfast. The restaurant was very clean and hygienic. When the housekeeper brought breakfast to me, I could feel the attentiveness of the presentation. After dinner, I went to the front desk to ask for a cup of coffee and drank it while strolling around to digest the food. The name of the B&B is Zi Yu. When chatting with the owner, I learned that Zi Yu means ”hiding in the mountains and meeting a handsome man”. It is a very sentimental name, but the decoration style is more modern industrial, with a sense of contrast between sentiment and modernity. The exterior design of the hotel is great, with blue bricks stacked in an orderly manner, giving people a ”sinking” feeling. Every corner of the hotel gave me surprises. Unfortunately, my schedule was tight and I only stayed for one day before leaving, otherwise I really want to immerse myself in this ”sinking, slowing down” life. I have stayed in many homestays, but so far only this one gives me this sense of relaxation. Next time I come, I must stay longer.
