I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! I found my ideal B&B in Wanfenglin! My husband and I stayed here over Chinese New Year and couldn't stop thinking about it, saying we'd come back if we had the chance! Didn't expect to be back for a second time so soon, haha. Last time, the rapeseed flowers were everywhere; this time, even though there aren't any, it still has a unique charm. First, facilities: The room's floor-to-ceiling windows face Wanfenglin directly. The moment you open the curtains in the morning, the mountains are right there – so therapeutic. The bedding is also very comfortable. Last time I asked the owner for a link, but they told me it's all custom-made! The bathroom is equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, Bulgari toiletries, disposable bath towels, hair drying caps, bath balls, pajamas, underwear, and even the toothbrushes are soft-bristled – excellent attention to detail. On the table, there were seasonal fruits and a bottle of red wine, all complimentary. Soaking in the tub with a drink at night was simply divine. Next, cleanliness: The entire B&B is spotless, from the lobby to the rooms, every corner is clean and tidy. The carpets are thoroughly vacuumed, there are no water stains or hair in the bathroom, and the bed sheets and duvet covers have no peculiar smell. It feels very reassuring to stay here. Finally, service: The butler is very attentive. They messaged me beforehand to ask what time I'd arrive and if I wanted the air conditioning turned on in advance. When we got to the parking lot, the butler came to help with our luggage and escorted us all the way to our room. The breakfast is also very thoughtfully prepared; their rice noodles are absolutely amazing! So delicious! There's also milk, bread, and fruit – a very satisfying meal. They even gave us coffee vouchers, which is fantastic for a coffee lover like me! I didn't expect to find such good coffee in a scenic area! In short, I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Wanfenglin. Highly recommended!

This was the most pleasant surprise hotel on our trip to Qianxinan. Room 02 offers an absolutely stunning view. Waking up to the motorized curtains slowly opening, revealing the surrounded mountains of Wanfeng Lake outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, was like a vibrant landscape painting. I've stayed in many sea view and mountain view rooms, but this scene of mountains encircling and a turquoise lake partially visible is truly one-of-a-kind. Additionally, although there weren't many staff members, the two young ladies at the front desk provided service that was as meticulous and thoughtful as any five-star hotel. Our entire stay was very enjoyable. Finally, I have to commend the owner of Fengxi for their incredible vision in securing such a prime location – truly impressive! 👍

Also tell us about the local diet characteristics, Guizhou is very humid, so I love to eat spicy, the local pepper is full of aroma; the sour dishes are appetizing and detoxifying, and we recommend restaurants to eat sour yak beef, the taste is particularly amazing. Breakfast is all local fresh ingredients for the season, there is no fancy tricks, it is simple and real local food, eating is very assured. So as good as that, the place can sit in the yard or the pool in a daze, slowly enjoy the mountains and rivers of Guizhou, and feel the slow pace of relaxation here. Even the pillow height was thoughtfully considered without me having to say a word—it was such a pleasant surprise. The next morning, I have to rave about the breakfast! The variety was dazzling—hot, freshly made dishes, fresh fruit, and delicate snacks. After eating, I felt completely energized, and even the flavors were tailored to my preferences. I especially loved their plain noodles. The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Just open the window and you'd see the Wanfeng Forest across the street. The mountain scenery, with its layered peaks unfolding like an ink painting, is breathtaking. Mornings are shrouded in mist, and evenings are bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, time seems to slow down. The toiletries in the room were also incredibly thoughtful; the high-end brand scent was fresh and not overpowering, and the texture was exquisite. I even shamelessly asked the owner for an extra set to take on my next trip. The high-end facilities were absolutely fantastic. The bedding was soft and plush, and the bathroom was impeccably clean with a separate shower and toilet. It was a truly comfortable stay. This thoughtful touch upon checking in late at night, combined with the wonderful experience during the day, has already made me secretly plan my next trip. This amazing guesthouse is a must-visit! The guesthouse is located in Xia Nahui, which is quieter and offers better views compared to Shang Nahui and Zhong Nahui. There are many restaurants within a five-minute walk, making it convenient to go to the market on Monday mornings. There's a beautiful swimming pool, probably the largest for a guesthouse in Wanfenglin. The owner provided paddleboards, and the children never wanted to get out of the pool. In the adjacent small garden, there were three peacocks; we later discovered that the guesthouse's logo is a peacock spreading its tail feathers. The plants in the garden also showed that the owner had carefully selected, arranged, and maintained them. The guesthouse's breakfast was excellent, especially the rice noodles, which were delicious. My child could easily finish a whole bowl. Besides rice noodles, they also offered different small dishes each day, which was very satisfying.

Opening the window revealed the iconic dark silhouettes of the scenic mountains, and the entrance to the attraction was just a ten-minute walk away. There was no need to rush for a crowded subway or transfers; the extra time allowed for a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood's artisan shops or a quick nap back in the room before heading out again. For breakfast, there was no need to go far; just two turns from the hotel entrance was a local breakfast spot that had been open for over a decade. Even getting to the nearby high-speed train station by taxi took only fifteen minutes. Whether you're a traveler with a packed itinerary or just looking for a relaxing getaway, getting around is exceptionally convenient. I was immediately won over by the front desk staff's attitude during check-in. As soon as we reached the entrance, someone proactively offered to help with our luggage and handed us cool welcome towels. When we asked for directions, they not only patiently explained the route but also offered a printed simplified map of the attractions, advising us which sections were best for photos and where to find the most authentic snacks. When we requested to adjust our check-out time, there was no hint of impatience; they quickly helped coordinate everything. They even assisted in contacting reliable venues for a local intangible cultural heritage experience that we casually inquired about. After this trip, the comfortable accommodation experience significantly enhanced our journey. Whether I visit this area again or recommend it to friends, this hotel will definitely be my top choice.

Booking a guesthouse in Wanfenglin is a real matter of luck, with all sorts of options available. I was very fortunate to find this one through a blind box, and I'm very happy with it. Environment: The environment, the furnishings, everything is excellent, stylishly designed, and very clean. They have many rooms ranging from low to high floors; I recommend staying in a higher-floor room. The breakfast was also delicious. Even without going out, the hotel itself is a great spot for taking photos! Service: The service was impeccable. They contacted me before I arrived to offer to pick me up and help with my luggage.
