"This is the kind of homestay where many people live together. There is only a separate space for three people, and the rest are public facilities. The hotel’s location is about 10-15 minutes away from the station. In a street full of restaurants, the convenience store is far away, but the izakaya next to it is very characteristic. "The hotel reception and waitstaff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was very clean, with a simple yet stylish design. In the evenings, you could enjoy soba noodles in the lobby and even order a sake set to chill with friends. I even asked the front desk if I could bring my own snacks to enjoy with the free drinks. It was a very comfortable space. If you're staying for a day or two, I recommend trying the hotel breakfast. Both the Japanese and Western options were delicious, especially the bread 🥯. I bought breakfast every day during my 3-day stay, but I got tired of having the same thing daily 😂. Despite the no-refund policy, I wanted to cancel breakfast on my last day. The staff were very thoughtful and said that even though a refund wasn't possible, I could take away some bread 🖤. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would choose UAN Kanazawa again if I come back."

"Overall, it was okay. I arrived at 12:30 and they allowed me to check in straight away. It's located between Omicho Market and Higashichaya. While it's close to Omicho Market, it's not exactly in a great location. The hotel has the feel of a guesthouse. There's a cafe and bar on the first floor, and a water server. It's a hotel with a guesthouse feel, with private rooms. The rooms are average. The doors don't auto-lock. They're reasonably spacious. The bathroom is very small. The room quality isn't high, but it's not inconvenient. It's nice that the TV is a smart TV. There are no particular issues, but there aren't any special services or facilities, and it's not particularly good value for money. There are many good, cheap hotels in Kanazawa, so personally I prefer regular hotels."

The room was spacious and conveniently located right after turning right from the JR station's south exit. The lobby offered complimentary drinks and beverages daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The ambiance was also excellent, perfect for a vacation. My only minor complaint is that they didn't provide face cream or facial cleanser, which I've become accustomed to at Japanese hotels. I almost ran out of the ones I brought myself.

I only left this place this morning, but I already want to go back. It felt like a home, the host/owner and his wife are super lovely, greeted me every time I came back or said goodbye to me whenever I left. It felt like I was coming home at the end of the day. You get a tea on arrival and I opted for the bento box breakfast for my first morning. I came down at 10 and it was there waiting for me, they play nice Japanese music while your waiting downstairs, although the hosts weren’t fluent in English we could communicate just fine, there English was good enough, although I did try to speak Japanese, the room was so nice and big, I love a tatami room it’s so cosy, I liked snuggling up in the bed at night and watching my tablet, the bathrooms where nice and I just loved the ryokan feel. If I ever find myself in kanazawa again which I willl, I will most definitely stay here again! If you don’t book here your not doing kanazawa right.

This was a wonderful hostel to stay at, and really made me enjoy my stay in Kanazawa. It's right in the middle, beyween the garden, the samurai district and the chaya district, so it was perfect for getting around, and very close to the train station. The people working here are super sweet and they even have some plum wine in the evenings for guests. The staff mainly stays in their sister hostel, however the hostel itself is very secure and the door is always locked. It's always nice for a quick rest as well between wandering, and there's a delicious ramen restaurant a minute walk away.

The first time I went to Kanazawa, the hotel was great. It was suitable for family and children. There was a separate washing machine in the bathroom. There was also a drying rack in the muji room. The fragrance spray refrigerator and the freezer were also prepared. There was a supermarket next door downstairs. I bought some delicious ice cream in the refrigerator. It was really square. Just next to the hotel front desk is a small bar. At night, I will listen to the vinyl records. I will drink a whisky. Special reminder. We live on the 9th floor (top floor) and have a balcony. You can see the scenery outside at any time. I just watched the fireworks and sunrise that day. A great experience.

The room was spacious, but the breakfast was basic. Having stayed in several three- and four-star hotels in Japan, the breakfast at Omo5 was the simplest, with only three set menus to choose from. It wasn't to my taste, especially for a three-day stay. It was truly disappointing.

I made a reservation for 2 nights and 3 days for my daughter's university entrance exam, but later decided to book an additional night, so we stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The room for the 2 nights was not available, so we planned to use a different room for the 1st night, but they adjusted it so that we stayed in the same room for all 3 nights. My daughter was nervous about staying alone and taking the exam, but they kindly agreed to our request for a wake-up call and included a letter saying ”Please come visit us again” when we left, so we are very grateful for their warm hospitality. Thank you very much. We would definitely like to use your services again.

From Sheze Station, take any bus, go to the Weishan Shrine, and look to the right side of the road. The location is very good, you can walk to many attractions within 20 minutes. There are also many buses. The room is small and wide, there is no window, the light is dark, but other facilities are quite good. The bathroom and bathroom sink are divided into three places. It is also close to the Jiangxi Seafood Market. There is a large market in the market that exceeds the standard. There is a good seafood food, and there is a dining area and wash basin on the edge of this market. It will not cause you to buy no place to eat. The hotel is a few steps left to the bus station, and there are many buses to Kanazawa Station.
