"The hotel is super convenient, just a short walk left from the pier. There were even hotel staff at the pier to help with luggage and take it to reception for check-in – the service was really welcoming. The location is the best; it's very close to the walking street if you go via the beach, making everything easily accessible. The hotel also has a large pool, and the sea right outside is beautiful. It's excellent value for money."

"This hotel is just 200 meters from Pattaya Beach Pier, a bit quieter than The Ananya. Walking Street is also very close if you walk along the beach. The breakfast was decent, and the Thai milk tea was delicious. The service was good too; they helped us with our luggage and took us to the boat, which seems to be standard for island hotels – something Koh Lipe does better than Koh Samet. We went during the low season, so the prices were cheaper, and there were fewer people. The pool was practically empty. You have to pay to use the hotel's kayaks, whereas the one at The Plantation was free for two days, though the kayaks there weren't as good as Akira's. The room was large and quiet, and the 2-meter bed was very comfortable. I recommend this place."

"The location is great in the middle of sunrise beach and easy to walk to walking street and main pier. The concept and vibes of resort are great love it. The service is quite not good compared to another small local resort in island. A lot of staffs in resort just sitting no service of picking up at pier, staff quite not have a good service mind, staffs language proficiency of Thai and English. They don’t understand what I try to order in Thai and English."

"The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It’s just I was expecting to have a least a disposable toothbrush for the price I paid. Too bad they didn’t provide. The hotel receptionist didn’t tell us about the direct gate to the beach which we paid the 20baht to access to the beach for the first time. Breakfast was okay."

"The water quality at Tianyuan (Tianyuan Resort) mostly contains sand and gravel, while at Bishu Shanzhuang it's yellow sediment, making the latter seem dirtier. Tianyuan's food was the best. The activities were also pretty good, but when we arrived, there wasn't much detailed information. We were given a piece of paper, but it didn't have anything written on it, just told us to download an app. We only found out the next day that there were free paddleboards, but the waves were too big that morning, which was a shame. I didn't think the service was good. The front desk staff didn't smile at us like they did at the other three hotels. We also had to wait a long time for someone to show us to our room (we were carrying two very heavy bags). On the way, the staff member even asked me what time the pool opened, and I told her it was on the paper, but she probably didn't understand. At that moment, with our two large backpacks, they didn't offer to help with our luggage, and just wanted us to get to our room quickly. So, I kind of wanted to roll my eyes. However, a good point was that they let us check in a bit early. I think the location is quite good; if you use the paddleboards, you can go to the uninhabited island opposite. The facilities, I think, are just average. The room smelled very nice, and there was no discomfort when getting into the swimming pool. At Bishu Shanzhuang, I felt a burning sensation when I swam, and my mouth even peeled, so I think their disinfectant is harmful to people. Overall, it was okay, with both good and bad points."

"The hotel picked us up from the pier. There's a large swimming pool in the middle of the hotel, facing the sea. The rooms themselves are pretty average. We booked a ground floor room which was very convenient. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, but there was an old man, who looked like he was from Southern China, always sitting in the restaurant area, who had a terrible attitude. On our second day, we wanted an extra duvet because we were fighting over the existing one, and he very impatiently said no! Couldn't a 6-foot bed accommodate it?! We then spoke to the lady at the front desk again, and she was all smiles and promptly provided us with an extra duvet. The breakfast was quite ordinary. Having stayed at several hotels on Koh Lipe, this one was honestly the worst! Not recommended. I'd recommend Akira instead."

"The guy in picture one will pick you up at the pier, and the guy in picture two is a resort staff member. The resort uses a password lock for its doors, and the interior decor is very popular with Chinese guests! It's about 160 per person. 1. Excellent privacy, far from the bustling pedestrian streets of the island. It's quiet with few people, creating a relaxed atmosphere. 2. Directly facing crystal-clear waters and a small beach. The public pool and lounge areas are very well maintained, and the service is attentive. 3. Overall, it's not crowded at all, making it comfortable whether you want to relax or go snorkeling. Right in front of the resort, there are 4-5 Nemo spots. It feels amazing to just see Nemo without spending money! Downsides: You can't rent motorbikes on the entire island; only sidecar taxis are available, costing 50T per person. The roads are bumpy and uneven, making it difficult to walk with luggage. It's recommended to take a taxi in and out. The road to the resort involves uphill and downhill sections. Aya is perfect for those who want a quiet, relaxing vacation and dislike crowds."

"Service: The hotel offers pier transfers. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, life vests, fins, snorkels, and masks. Ambiance: Located right by the sea, dining offers direct ocean views. To the left is the 5-star diving shop, Diving Couple, and to the right is the hotel's massage parlor. The massage parlor is a two-story wooden cabin; getting a massage with the sea breeze is very comfortable and not hot. The prices are also cheaper than those on Walking Street. Next to that is the Wapi Hotel. Facilities: The rooms aren't very spacious, so a large suitcase might be a bit challenging to place. The facilities are a bit dated. We stayed in a garden view room (GV2), which was a stand-alone bungalow, but there were quite a few ants and mosquitoes. Every night before bed, I had to hunt for mosquitoes, though an electric mosquito swatter and mosquito repellent are provided. During our 9-day stay, we encountered one cockroach and one gecko in the bathroom, which I suspect came from a slightly broken light fixture. I'd suggest the hotel fix it. Cleanliness: Room cleaning is quite casual; they mainly just change towels and replenish bottled water. However, you can request housekeeping to change the bedding, and they will come and do so. Extra Notes: The hotel has two very cute dogs that will actively 'shake hands' and accompany you for walks along the beach in the evening. The hotel is also not far from 7-Eleven, about a 5-minute walk. However, the road in front of the hotel has potholes that collect water when it rains. The bedding is a tiny bit on the firm side. Breakfast is quite average, with little variation daily; it's enough to fill you up, but you can always buy food from 7-Eleven. Putting aside the facilities, insects, and room size, overall, it's still very good value for money."

"Out of the three hotels I stayed at on Koh Lipe – one Sunrise, one Sunset, and The Serendipity – The Serendipity was by far the most pleasant surprise, truly living up to its name. First off, the staff were incredibly friendly. When they noticed my child's life vest wasn't properly worn, a staff member proactively stepped in to help put it on and adjust it. These kinds of kind gestures, beyond their direct duties, are the most heartwarming. Beyond that, the rooms were spotless and the views were absolutely stunning. You could sit on the balcony and enjoy the sea, sunrise, and stars – perfect for taking photos or simply unwinding. The cliffside restaurant also offered great value; hotel guests even get a 15% discount on food. Despite being a popular spot, the portion sizes were genuinely generous. Finally, the occasional visits from small animals (birds and geckos) in the room added a charming touch. Of course, there was one downside: the mosquitoes were quite bothersome. Although the hotel was diligent about lighting mosquito coils and putting down mosquito nets, I still got bitten quite a bit after just a short time on the balcony in the evening. I'd recommend bringing your own repellent."

"I had an amazing experience staying at Bundhaya Villa. The view was truly outstanding, making every moment feel relaxing and memorable. The room was spacious and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to unwind. I especially loved having breakfast with a stunning blue sea view—a beautiful way to start the day. The entire landscape around the resort is beautifully maintained, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. Another big plus is that the hotel is very close to the immigration area, which is convenient for travelers. Overall, Bundhaya Villa is a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it."
