"We chose this hotel for its triple room, which is quite rare but perfect for us. The room was reasonably clean, though perhaps because it's in the mountains, there were always bugs. The restaurant behind the hotel is excellent, and you can access it directly from the third-floor walkway. On the ground floor, there were always people playing mahjong – I'm not sure if they were guests or staff. Is this some kind of local custom? It's right in the lobby, facing the front, which makes the hotel look more like a mahjong parlor. It might be better if they had a separate room for that."

A wisp of sandalwood incense was slowly burning, and the tea set was neatly arranged, as if awaiting its owner's return. The moment I opened the door, my heart felt at ease. The furnishings inside reflected a restrained and tasteful Chinese aesthetic.
