"This trip to Xiamen was arranged via the ”Mini Three Links” from Kinmen. The Kinmen itinerary included 3 days and 2 nights, with accommodation at the Kinmen Shimei Resort. The facilities and services were excellent (a triple room had 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, and 1 kitchen). A special commendable aspect was the breakfast service; the chefs and staff provided detailed explanations on how to heat the food to enhance its flavor. It showed a genuine dedication to serving guests (this embodies the spirit of Kinmen – hospitality and treating tourists like family and friends) – truly admirable! The only drawback was the resort's remote location (far from Kinmen city, the airport, and Shuitou Wharf). Improvements in facilities and services are needed – such as free airport shuttle service and discounted taxi/motorcycle rentals. The actual location is not biased at all. There is a large supermarket within a minute's walk. Most of Jinmen are homestays. The standardized services provided by this hotel naturally make travel a lot easier. And the hotel is very large, the first floor is the restaurant, the front desk is very enthusiastic when checking in, and also provides a lot of information for tourists to read. I have two packages in Golden Gate that I can't get them. I have a try and ask the hotel if they can help. I didn't expect them to really want to! In fact, even if I refuse my request, it is normal, but they choose to pay no return. It really touched me. Finally, I wish the store and the clerk a prosperous business! For me, it was a great place to get away from the nearby Xiamen and enjoy free internet.
