"Facilities: Excellent and luxurious, I was really happy with the bedding. For the past few days, I'd been traveling out of province, and the beds and pillows everywhere else were so soft they offered no support, leaving me with a sore back. This was the best night's sleep I've had all month during my travels! They even offer two pillow options, one soft and one firm. Environment: The beach is just a short walk downstairs. I saw some negative reviews complaining about the road being dangerous to cross, but it was fine. There's a crosswalk, and when we were there, traffic wasn't heavy. There's also a BBQ restaurant downstairs, perfect for eating and enjoying the breeze at night. I initially thought the hotel restaurant would be expensive, but after eating out once, I found the hotel restaurant was actually more affordable than the local food stalls. Amenities: There's a beautiful pool, and it seems like there's also an observation deck, which I unfortunately didn't get to visit. Service: Excellent. I told customer service I needed earplugs, and a robot delivered them very quickly. You can see the sea directly from the room! It's absolutely beautiful, I loved this room so much. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Huizhou."

"The overall ambiance of Salt Crystal Hotel By RìChū was fantastic. The room was comfortable and the views were beautiful, especially the reef bar and the chapel – they were incredibly photogenic. Our butler, Judy, provided very thoughtful service. She helped us upgrade to a family suite directly facing the sunrise, so we could watch the sunrise from bed. The entire stay was a great experience. It happened to be my birthday on the day of check-in, and the butler immediately surprised me with a birthday cake. Overall, I was very satisfied with this trip!"

"Let me start with the check-in experience: As I arrived quite late and it wasn't peak season, Xiao Man upgraded me to a panoramic sea view room. Since it was my first time staying at Dan Yue and I wasn't familiar with the location, Xiao Man very thoughtfully gave me directions and even provided her own curated information on dining, attractions, and transportation around Shuangyue Bay. Although I'm quite familiar with the area, so this information wasn't really necessary for me (laughs), I still appreciated her effort. I could tell her guide would be very useful for first-time visitors. From check-in to check-out, Xiao Man was incredibly responsive to my late-night inquiries. I'm very grateful for her dedicated service. Now, about the facilities: 1. The guest room's sleeping area and vanity area were separated by a natural partition, protecting the privacy of the sleeping area. Many hotels have partitions, but usually only Mandarin Oriental, Park Hyatt, and Four Seasons do them well. This was the first positive impression Dan Yue gave me about its guest rooms. 2. Looking at the vanity, the integrated design, from color coordination to layout, fully utilized the spacious 67 square meters. The large mirror made the room feel even more expansive and bright. 3. There's a guest room walk-in closet by the entrance (Image 3), which features a sufficiently large luggage bench for placing luggage and sitting to change shoes. Many hotels only provide a small, movable stool for this purpose, which is often inadequate. These small stools not only take up space in the sleeping area but also detract from the visual neatness and aesthetics, and once used for clutter, they lose their function for changing shoes. Therefore, the large luggage bench in Dan Yue's walk-in closet provides a significant positive impact on both visual and practical user experience. 4. The bathroom and toilet are separate. Dry and wet separation is common in most hotels nowadays, so there's not much to say, but the overall cleanliness and facility maintenance were well done. 5. As it faces the sea, humidity can be an issue, but the room is equipped with a dehumidifier. This kept the room relatively dry, and combined with the air conditioning, I could confidently open the balcony door without worrying about the room becoming damp and sticky. 6. The balcony is very spacious, with two chairs for relaxing. This room type also includes a bathtub, which is large enough to comfortably fit an average-sized adult, and with the sea view, privacy is not a concern. 7. The balcony offers an unobstructed view of the sea. You can enjoy a great sunrise viewing and photo-taking experience without having to go down to the beach. Because it faces directly east, it gets excellent natural light without being overly exposed to the sun. The sea view is stunning on clear days. 8. The hotel's entertainment facilities are abundant, and both in-room and public area facilities are well-maintained. However, the elevator's scent is a critical issue that affects the overall guest experience. It's excessively strong and has a counterproductive effect. I suggest it needs to be changed. Overall, Dan Yue is one of the excellent hotels in the Shuangyue Bay area. There's a McDonald's downstairs, so if you're worried about being overcharged or don't want to eat at the hotel, McDonald's is a convenient option. Across the road, there are 7-Eleven and Meiyijia convenience stores. The location is easy to find, and the convenience is excellent."

For the room size and the location right by the sea, it was genuinely a great deal. You can really see the potential here – but like many other reviews mention, the property is clearly aging. Where it falls short is the service, which feels lacking. The breakfast, in particular, was expensive for what was offered, especially for foreign travellers. The selection was limited, and the only thing we truly enjoyed were the noodles. The beach itself could be beautiful, but it desperately needs cleaning. It’s also heartbreaking to see so many surrounding businesses shut down – the area felt desolate and sad. On a positive note, Lima House on the ground floor was absolutely amazing. As soon as you step into the lobby, it's simply grand, and the warm lighting creates a very healing atmosphere, instantly soothing travel fatigue. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the service was gentle and meticulous, responding promptly to any requests. The room was spotless, with cozy and comfortable soft furnishings. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent lighting, and the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The soundproofing was great; I heard no noise at night. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, stable water pressure, and quality toiletries. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with a wide variety of ingredients. I have to give a special shout-out to the hotel staff member, Dian Dian. Her service was thoughtful and patient; she greeted us warmly upon arrival and proactively helped with our luggage. She also sent timely reminders for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening desserts, always checking in on our needs. During our two-night stay, the toiletries were replenished promptly, showing great attention to detail. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. Overall, our stay was a perfect 10, and we'll definitely be back!"

"This stay was great! The staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel environment was clean and comfortable. The nearby beach was a lot of fun, and my child had a blast, especially with activities like parasailing. "We stayed for three days and had a butler named Xiao Hui who helped us with everything we needed, from dining to activities. The hotel has several restaurants, and the best one is called 'Dongshan Sea Chinese Restaurant.' Their set meals are very affordable; a set for two adults and one child was more than enough food. Our room was on a high floor with a sea view, no strange odors, and excellent hygiene. The facilities weren't old, and there was a small pool on the balcony. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and Aunt Xiu Yan always came to ask if I needed anything. She had a very kind smile and provided great service. There are many pools, but my favorite was the infinity pool, which overlooks the beach and the ocean – absolutely loved it, perfect for photos! The lobby has bubble blowing and a clown making balloons every afternoon, and there's a children's play area on the first floor. The hotel even has a KTV, but no massage services, unfortunately. Outside the hotel, there are many seafood restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, and milk tea shops nearby. If you don't want to walk, you can rent an electric scooter just outside the hotel for a reasonable price. When we left, a staff member named Sister Gao Li from the lobby helped us find our way to the hotel's afternoon tea and even gave us two small gifts. Our trip was so smooth and enjoyable because of all of you!"

"Beautiful, quaint apartment. Fully furnished with all the basic ammenities and needs. We had a great ocean view which wasn't directly South-facing, so the sun wasn't a big problem on the balcony. The projector had a paid VIP membership so we could watch whatever we wanted. The wifi also worked well. The beach is just across the road and a breeze to access. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and were eager to assist whenever needed. The room is cleaned every day and they supply fresh water. Breakfast was available promptly and there was a nice variety of food at the buffet. They only have the buffet over weekends though. They also give out free toys for kids to play on the beach with and you can collect free popcorn at night. I would definitely recommend this place to a couple or some friends going on holiday and wanting a relaxed beach atmosphere. There was difinitely enough space for us and our baby."
