"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Potala Palace. It's also just a few hundred meters, a walkable distance, from Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. The biggest highlight is the view; breakfast is served on the fifth-floor restaurant, offering an expansive and perfect view of the Potala Palace from afar. The night view, in particular, is stunning. Our room was a 180-degree unobstructed view room. While a bit more expensive, the unparalleled scenery makes it the best choice for viewing the Potala Palace from a distance. The breakfast was plentiful with a good variety, including local specialties like tsampa, and delicious butter tea and sweet tea. The room facilities were quite comprehensive, including a dedicated nasal oxygen concentrator. The room also provided complimentary Coca-Cola and glacial bottled water, with refills available, and a fresh fruit platter daily. We even received a small souvenir upon check-in. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. A special thanks to front desk staff member Riri for doing her best to coordinate a suitable room according to my request. Also, the butler and maintenance technician resolved an air conditioning issue in the middle of the night. The professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the staff at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, from top to bottom, brought warmth and moved us during our time in Lhasa. There's no distinction of 'high or low' among people; hotel guests and staff simply have different roles and responsibilities. The key lies in how guests' concerns are addressed and the attitude and problem-solving approach of the staff when issues arise. We had booked a basic room, but because I'm sensitive to noise, Riri helped us upgrade to a quieter room. The air conditioning in our room would turn on automatically after being turned off. Around 1 AM, the maintenance technician came back and forth three times. Eventually, they decided to turn off the AC's circuit breaker and fix it the next day (which they did). Before we left, they even sent a small gift as an apology. Breakfast was decent, but I'd describe it as exquisite in presentation, bland in taste, and lacking variety. However, I've also tried meals at the Shangri-La Lhasa, the Crowne Plaza Linzhi, and the Songtsam Bason Co Linka, where some ingredients are even transported from Sichuan in advance due to special circumstances. The taste is generally similar across the board. Given the challenging environment, I believe they've done their best to achieve this level. Regarding some of the room's hardware, there's definitely room for improvement, and the hotel itself is aware of this. I hope to see improvements in the future. "Extremely satisfied! The hotel is very close to Barkhor Street and Potala Palace, both within walking distance, making its location absolutely superb! The hotel elevator goes directly to the 6th floor, where there's a popular cafe that's perfect for photos. Atour is a chain, so it's very clean and well-equipped with a light luxury feel. The Dyson hairdryer, high-quality pajamas, Peet's coffee, and a coffee machine are all highlights. Most importantly, the hotel also offers a video shoot of the 'dryland scallion pulling' experience, a welcome gift, and afternoon tea/coffee! There's also a butler service; you can just WeChat them if you need anything. Truly excellent! 👍🏻"

The location is excellent with convenient, with easy access to Jokhang Temple (大昭寺) and Barkhor Street (八廓街). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, excellent service, and prime location. It is definitely one of the best places to stay in Lhasa."

"Highly recommend this Hilton Garden Inn! The entire check-in and check-out process was pleasant. The lobby is bright and spacious, and the staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious, with meticulous cleanliness and no unpleasant odors. The mattresses are the classic Garden Inn model, instantly relieving fatigue, and the soundproofing is excellent. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area with fast water flow. The breakfast selection is extensive, including hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and coffee. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry with dryer are essential for long trips! The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Suitable for both leisure and business travel, definitely worth revisiting."

"The hotel is very close to Zaki Temple, and the bedding is very comfortable. The hotel also offers offering facilities and excellent parking service. The breakfast quality is also quite good."

"Great location, only a 10-minute walk to Jokhang Temple. There are plenty of good restaurants, shops, and various outdoor/hiking brands nearby. I really liked their bedding (not just the pillows, but the bed itself felt like it had a memory foam topper, very comfortable). The bath towels were all individually sealed in plastic bags, which felt more hygienic. I paid extra for breakfast, which was standard quality, but the absolute best part was that their 6th-floor restaurant offers an amazing view of the Potala Palace. There's also a small rooftop terrace above the restaurant for taking photos :)"

"The service here is incredibly comprehensive. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to the action, and the facilities are excellent. They even provide an oxygen concentrator in the room, which is a thoughtful touch, and the room views are absolutely fantastic. My only minor suggestion would be to have a more varied breakfast selection. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and look forward to staying here again next time I'm in Lhasa."
