I recently stayed at the Boao Asia Forum Hotel for five nights, and it truly lived up to its reputation. The hotel boasts an impressive and grand architectural design, spanning a vast area. It's clear why it's chosen to host international conferences, with its expansive and beautiful grounds. One minor inconvenience was the transportation. The island operates under a green travel policy, meaning private cars aren't allowed directly onto the island. Guests need to transfer to a shuttle bus. This wasn't mentioned during the booking process, so self-driving guests should be aware. However, the overall hotel service was excellent. The staff were attentive and thoughtful in their responses, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained. Staying on the island also offers the unique experience of being able to visit the Permanent Site nearby, making it a great choice for a holiday or visit to Boao.

This hotel is located right by Municipal Square, close to the city hall and government offices. It's about a 15-minute walk to Zaliang Street. It's a standard 3-star express hotel. I got a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious room. The free breakfast is a 28 CNY standard and includes yogurt. However, the power went out more than three times during the early morning and night. The curtains automatically opened and closed when the power cut out, which was quite alarming! When checking out, the front desk apologized, saying it was due to a municipal power supply issue. But since I could see lights in nearby buildings outside my window during the power outages, I suspect there might be a defect with the hotel's electrical equipment or facilities!

Overall, this stay was very good. We originally booked into Hotel 1, but the owner was very considerate and proactively upgraded us to Hotel 2 free of charge. The owner's son was also very polite and helpful, actively assisting us throughout the entire stay, which was a real plus. The room also had tea making facilities, and the hot water pressure was strong, making the shower very comfortable. Although the location is a bit out of the way, the overall experience was very satisfying.

Bringing the kids here, the Boao State Guesthouse was truly beyond my expectations. They upgraded us to a better room for free. The entire hotel is like a complete botanical garden; every snapshot is a masterpiece.

Overall, it was pretty good. The service kept up, and the room's cleanliness and layout were fine. The breakfast had a wide selection, with plenty of options for kids. Most importantly, it's super close to the beach! It's so convenient for kids to play in the water, and the price was a great value too ^_^ . We'll be back next year!

The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable bedding and excellent hygiene! No carpets, so no musty smell, which is great for people with allergies. The hotel is right by the sea; its back door opens directly onto the coastal road, next to 'The Story of the Sea' – the most beautiful dining spot by the beach. We heard that even a former UN Secretary-General once dined there. Even at night, young couples were taking wedding photos on the beach. Walking west, you reach the mouth of the Wanquan River. Overall, though it's an older four-star hotel and the exterior looks a bit dated, the air is fresh, and it's very clean. The lobby even offers complimentary tea and bananas, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious. In the evening, we went to the nearby Tanmen Town Fisherman's Wharf and bought live abalone, wild sea shrimp, mouse grouper, and scallops. We brought them back to the hotel, and the restaurant chef helped prepare them for a reasonable fee, which felt much safer than eating seafood at small outside eateries! The restaurant waitstaff, especially the aunties, provided superb service. They even kindly warned us when we ordered too many extra vegetables and soup, fearing we wouldn't finish them. Environment: The hotel is located next to the main street of the city, a few hundred meters away from the city center business district, making it convenient for travel and consumption. Service: Good attitude, polite at the front desk.

The photo was taken before going to bed, so it looked a bit messy. The boss has a very good attitude. I went downstairs to pick up things at night. The boss saw that I didn't sleep and gave me two pieces of cake and sausage made by myself. The homestay has an elevator, so you don't have to work hard to carry your luggage. The parent-child family room is like home and very comfortable. The room was clean and spacious and very quiet. The bedding was clean and the smell of laundry detergent was very comfortable. The mattress was very comfortable to sleep in. There were two bedrooms in a living room and four families. In addition, the breakfast is very good, suitable for all ages, I forgot to take pictures, made seafood porridge for us, my mother drank five bowls, as well as fried eggs, flower rolls and fried dumplings. The boss also provides sea-catching tools, you can go to the beach to catch the sea at night, and the beach is also very close.

The biggest surprise was the room's balcony with its panoramic view. In the morning, you don't have to squeeze onto the beach; you can just grab a coconut juice and watch the sunrise leap from the horizon—the image of light and shadow on the sea is unforgettable! There are several hidden gem restaurants nearby, serving delicious desserts like Qingbuliang and Hainan noodles, each bite a taste of fresh island life. The accommodation experience far exceeded my expectations. I thought being near the sea would be damp, but the sheets and blankets were dry and soft, and a cleaning lady came every day to clean meticulously—the cleanliness was impeccable! The amenities are incredibly thoughtful, the air conditioning is powerful, and even the smallest details are considered. Whether you want to relax and enjoy the sea view, explore the countryside, or take a short vacation, this guesthouse is perfect. The price-performance ratio is unbelievably high; for just over 200 yuan, you can get a room with a fantastic view, and the experience far surpasses hotels in the same price range. I've already recommended it to my friends who are going to Hainan, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bo'ao!

The only thing is that it is very close to the beach. You can see the beach and the sea when you open the window. There is a self-service washing machine and drying on the balcony of the room, which can also solve the problem of self-driving clothes. The front desk is a bit shabby, but the service attitude is okay. There is a restaurant on the 26th floor, which belongs to another famous hotel. For 168, it can feed a family of three, and the service attitude is quite satisfactory. The price/performance ratio is quite high
