It is very modern and simple, providing residents with convenience and comfort in life, while retaining the tranquility and simplicity of people in the mountains beside the stream. I particularly like the wide wooden water table by the window, where I can read a book while listening to the gurgling stream. When we arrived at the parking lot in Songyang, the hostess had already greeted us in the parking lot. The male host with a baby face also came up to us halfway with a smile. As soon as we arrived at the store, we were served in a big bowl. Iron and grapefruit tea is so warm! Dinner was also arranged at the B&B. The host was a good man who knew how to cook. Several of the dishes were colorful and flavorful and must be praised, including the breakfast the next morning, which was both nutritious and delicious. It must be said that families with children can also experience a backyard vegetable picking experience, which is very interesting for children living in the city! The whole village of Songzhuang Village is not as big as Yangjiatang, and it is far away from the county seat, so there are fewer tourists. Relatively speaking, the visiting experience is very good. There is an ancient arch bridge in the village that was rated as a secret place in the south of the Yangtze River by National Geographic Magazine. It is covered with greenery. The moss is very beautiful from a distance and up close, and there are a lot of people taking pictures! We took a group photo with Xin and Lixia’s dog mother 123 on the bridge. At the Yu Tea House and during exclusive tea ceremonies, the aroma of tea wafts through the air, bringing peace of mind. The public areas are spacious and open; sitting by the window, gazing at the mountains and listening to the breeze, feels as if time has slowed down. 🛏️The rooms are clean and bright, with soft, comfortable bedding and premium toiletries. Every detail is meticulously crafted, and the service is attentive and thoughtful, like a gentle spring breeze. 🌿The most unforgettable thing is the silence—only the chirping of birds and the rustling of bamboo create a true barrier against the hustle and bustle of the world. Life is always busy, leaving little time for reflection. Before we knew it, three or four days had passed since we left the small village of Songzhuang. We arrived on Saturday noon on the Yinyuan line bus from Songyang Bus Station in Sandu Township. The journey was bumpy, but along the way we saw many green tea plantations, bamboo groves, and paulownia trees—scenery rarely seen in Lingnan, seemingly ubiquitous in southwestern Zhejiang. The autumn sun shone on the mountain road, and the persimmon trees on both sides were laden with fruit. Vitality isn't exclusive to spring; Songzhuang's autumn is also exceptionally full of the power of growth. Besides the emotional impact of the drama festival deep in the mountains, the most exciting part of our two-day journey from Shenzhen to Songzhuang was this guesthouse. Firstly, Songzhuang only has guesthouses. Secondly, only about three guesthouses are available for booking on the platform. If, like us, you're not fixated on hotel-style service, don't crave trendy photo spots, and don't have a particularly authentic atmosphere, then this is undoubtedly the best choice. The price is the lowest among the options, so a one- or two-day trip won't break the bank; the location is the best, right next to the stone bridge. Even the lowest-class room (only the room without a bathroom was available when we booked) at this place guarantees basic sleep, washing facilities, and meals. Entering through the entrance, passing a small shop and a cooking area, you reach a large hall typical of rural houses, but with a skylight letting in some natural light. Our room was located in this space. There's a lot of wood used here, giving it a faint tung oil smell; the bed is a bit firm, which is good for your back; the blankets are very soft and warm, making it easy to fall asleep. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be having to use the external bathroom for washing and the slightly poor soundproofing, but personally, I didn't seem to notice. After watching a show and taking a shower, I fell into a deep sleep. However, I think what most people who have stayed here will remember most fondly is the landlady's hospitality. When we arrived, they handed us snacks and fruit platters, showed us around the village, and introduced us to various things. The next morning, they helped us find photo spots, took pictures for us, and prepared breakfast for us. Even when we rushed to catch the bus without saying goodbye, the landlady specially pulled us back and gave me some local specialties—I really didn't know how to refuse! I'm not good with words; as people in Shanghai say, ”Talking about feelings hurts money, talking about money hurts both feelings and money,” so I said nothing and silently accepted. When we left, the sun was shining brightly, and we walked up the stone-paved street. We saw the landlady being interviewed by a TV station below (she was wearing a microphone, I think), her face beaming with smiles, which truly made us feel the vitality of life. The landlady was also very kind, telling me about the local yew tree, gentle and quiet, a perfect match with the landlady. The elderly and children were also full of life; it truly felt like home. Staying here, I felt a sense of joy and vitality, as if all the energy in the energy field was converging on me. If I have the time, I think I'll come back. I'll stay another night here, feel the breeze at the village entrance, listen to the water under the stone bridge, and experience the night in this small mountain village in southwestern Zhejiang.

The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

In the old house, an uncle was experiencing his life and career with all his heart. The first time I saw him, he was wearing a snow-white shirt, not tall, and his hair was combed cleanly. He looked like a well-organized person. The uncle tidied the room in the old house, breaking my previous impression that the old house was dark and damp. My daughter and I drove here by ourselves. The uncle knew in advance that we needed to prepare lunch, but when we arrived, we found that the lunch prepared by the uncle was a full table of dishes. The dishes retained their original flavor and tasted really good. My daughter and I also made a small mistake in the old house and dirty the floor of the old house. The uncle scrubbed the floor and did not blame us at all. Instead, he continued to entertain us better and shared peaches and dates with us. I was very touched by the uncle's simplicity and kindness. Although I only slept for one night, the experience of staying here made me feel the warmth of family.

The room is very clean and tidy, and the comfort is great. I have never slept outside with such comfortable pillows, mattresses and quilts. I chose the attic room on the third floor. The bed is facing the window, allowing direct sunlight and sufficient heating at night. The hot water in the bath is not too hot, the bath is a bit cold, and the shower is okay. The store also thoughtfully prepared some disposable towels, which is very thoughtful. It’s great for people like me who don’t use outside towels! The landlord and his wife are very down-to-earth, and they also eat in the store in the evening. The local village is very quiet, and the sunset is beautiful. It is suitable for relaxing and renovating on weekends. The B&B I stayed in was the best in the whole village, and the decoration was all wooden. It should be very comfortable to sleep in the attic and listen to the chirping of insects in the summer!

First off, this hotel is huge, almost like a scenic area itself! 😂 Many rooms even have their own terrace. If you have enough time, spending a whole day relaxing at the hotel, sipping tea or coffee, would be incredibly pleasant. So, the environment is definitely a big plus. And with supposedly 120 rooms, they clearly have substantial resources. We checked in on the 3rd, and the hotel was pretty much fully booked. It must be quite popular in that area. Honestly, for a hotel nestled in the mountains to maintain such a high standard of environment, they're probably one of the only ones. I have to say, the food at the hotel's restaurant was good, especially the slow-cooked salted chicken. It was even better than what I had later at a highly-rated restaurant in the county. My only minor suggestion would be for the dishes to come out a little faster. 😎 The room design isn't entirely flat, so the views from rooms on higher levels might be even better (though the lower levels aren't far behind). The rooms come with a bathtub and a balcony, with a floor-to-ceiling window offering a direct view of the mountains. It's truly delightful to feel so immersed in nature. Facilities and Services: There's a small convenience store within the resort that offers room delivery, which is a thoughtful touch. They also have a cafe and an infinity pool. If you plan on swimming, remember to bring your swimwear! There's also an open-air bakery where you can watch them bake bread. If you don't want to trek up and down, you can also buy from the cafe directly, and they'll send it up to you, offering more options. After all that, my final advice is to try to visit during off-peak times, because the value for money is absolutely fantastic!

Yuanpu is a family with a particularly good impression in the homestay recently. I heard that it is the earliest B&B. It is not in the scenic area, the mountain road is easier to drive, parking is convenient, the layout is very literary, the environment is very quiet, suitable for slow life! The breakfast is very good, especially the corn and sweet potatoes, it is so delicious! It is not as far as Songzhuang Village, and it is not as congested as Chenjiapu Village and Yangjiatang Village. But it is very close to Chenjiapu Village, and it is only a 20-minute drive to the old town. It is very pet-friendly. You can go to the restaurant and Grandpa's coffee shop with us. There are kittens in the store, which makes the dog excited! Recommended!
