A special thanks to the porter who worked so hard with our luggage – we really appreciate it! The service was very detail-oriented; they even provided facial towels, which was a nice touch. Overall, I absolutely loved this place!"

"The location isn't in Chenjiapu, but in a village below it. It's very quiet, and parking is easy. There's an ancient path leading to Chenjiapu from here, about a 20-minute walk. Chenjiapu was very crowded during New Year's Day, so we didn't drive and walked from the guesthouse, which was very convenient. The guesthouse staff picked us up from the parking lot; they were very welcoming. The guesthouse is at the bottom of a flight of stairs, and our room, number 8, was at the very bottom. We had dinner at the guesthouse, and it was quite good. Breakfast was also plentiful and we ate our fill. The flatbread was especially delicious!! The purple cake was also tasty, and the kids loved it. The golden shaded dog and the puppy were very well-behaved; even I, someone who's afraid of dogs, loved them. The room was large, the air conditioning was strong, and the hot spring pool wasn't too hot, but it was enough for the kids to play in. "First off, this hotel is huge, almost like a scenic area itself! 😂 Many rooms even have their own terrace. If you have enough time, spending a whole day relaxing at the hotel, sipping tea or coffee, would be incredibly pleasant. So, the environment is definitely a big plus. And with supposedly 120 rooms, they clearly have substantial resources. We checked in on the 3rd, and the hotel was pretty much fully booked. It must be quite popular in that area. Honestly, for a hotel nestled in the mountains to maintain such a high standard of environment, they're probably one of the only ones. I have to say, the food at the hotel's restaurant was good, especially the slow-cooked salted chicken. It was even better than what I had later at a highly-rated restaurant in the county. My only minor suggestion would be for the dishes to come out a little faster. 😎 The room design isn't entirely flat, so the views from rooms on higher levels might be even better (though the lower levels aren't far behind). The rooms come with a bathtub and a balcony, with a floor-to-ceiling window offering a direct view of the mountains. It's truly delightful to feel so immersed in nature. Facilities and Services: There's a small convenience store within the resort that offers room delivery, which is a thoughtful touch. They also have a cafe and an infinity pool. If you plan on swimming, remember to bring your swimwear! There's also an open-air bakery where you can watch them bake bread. If you don't want to trek up and down, you can also buy from the cafe directly, and they'll send it up to you, offering more options. After all that, my final advice is to try to visit during off-peak times, because the value for money is absolutely fantastic!"
