"The front desk service was warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were both quick with no unnecessary waiting time. The room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light. The furniture and appliances were all new and the facilities were comprehensive; the air conditioning, TV, and water heater all worked perfectly. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the pillows were just right – neither too soft nor too firm. I'll definitely be coming back."

"This hotel was a real gem! As soon as I walked in, there wasn't any weird smell in the room. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless, and the bathroom had no water stains or odors. The front desk staff was incredibly polite and processed my check-in quickly. The soundproofing at night was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. It's also super convenient for dining and shopping, and the price was reasonable. This will definitely be my top choice for future stays."

"Definitely five stars! Every time I'm in Jining for work, I stay at Ming Shi. This time, the lovely front desk staff upgraded my room for free and even brought me a freshly brewed coffee, which instantly melted away my travel fatigue. The room was clean and tidy, the underfloor heating was excellent, and it was incredibly quiet at night, so I slept wonderfully. It's only a five or six-minute walk to Jining South Station, and the on-site parking is safe and convenient. Plus, there's breakfast, making it incredible value for money! Next time I'm in Ulanqab, this will still be my top choice!"

"The room was clean, and the front desk staff were polite. The overall facilities were decent, quite up to a local five-star standard. Since we visited during the Spring Festival, breakfast was delivered to our room as a set menu, and it was quite nutritious. However! It was incredibly hot in winter. The heating was set to an extremely high temperature, making it unbearable. Even the short-sleeved pajamas I specifically brought weren't enough. The central air conditioning also blew warm air. Due to the high ceilings and lack of screens, we couldn't open the windows very wide. I couldn't sleep all night. I tried to turn off the heating, but couldn't (as someone from the north, I believe every room should have its own heating control valve, but not here). In the end, with no other options, we had to leave the room door open, with one person staying awake while the other slept, then swapping... We basically got about two hours of sleep that night. Another room in our group had the exact same issue. I sincerely suggest the hotel adjusts its heating system. Even with central heating, as a hotel, you should at least allow each room to regulate its own temperature. Otherwise, it seriously impacts the guest experience and is incredibly frustrating!!!"

"I rarely post reviews when booking rooms online, but this time I'm so upset that I just have to vent. I chose this hotel, which is considered quite high-end, while accompanying a friend to run a marathon in Ulanqab. The check-in process and everything else was fine. However, on the day of check-out, they were repainting ground markings outside the entrance. The white paint was still wet, but there were no signs and no staff managing the area. I accidentally stepped into the wet paint, slipped, and fell. My clothes, pants, and shoes were all ruined with a lot of white paint, and I twisted my ankle, which swelled up. I asked the front desk to call the manager, but they said the manager was in a meeting and there was no one in charge available to handle the situation. Because I was in a hurry to return to Beijing, I could only leave my contact information and leave the dirty clothes and shoes at the hotel front desk. All subsequent follow-ups have been initiated by me; they never proactively contacted me. They said they would clean the clothes and shoes and send them back, and I thought, if they can clean them, that's fine. However, when they arrived, the clothes and pants were barely acceptable, but both shoes were discolored. For a hotel of this caliber, such management and service are truly astonishing."

"The amenities at this place were fantastic, except for the air conditioning – I couldn't find it anywhere! It was incredibly hot during our two-day stay, and no matter where we went, it was sweltering. My husband couldn't even sleep properly because of the heat. It was actually cooler outside than inside the room. However, the small courtyard was lovely, with rabbits, cats, and even a hammock – great for kids to explore and play. As soon as we arrived, the staff brought us two delicious frozen yogurt smoothies, and I think there was coffee too. The room's facilities were brand new and very stylish, with a smart toilet, hairdryer, great shower, and automatic curtains, all of which were excellent. We didn't get to experience the pizza and cookie baking in the kiln that was mentioned online; apparently, you can only catch it when the chef is occasionally around. We did try some boiled corn, though, and it was absolutely delicious – even my husband, who doesn't like fish slices, said it was good. Eating out nearby was a bit inconvenient as places were quite far. If you wanted to barbecue in the courtyard, you'd have to buy your own ingredients. The proprietress gave me a pillow sachet, which was very nice and smelled great, helping with sleep. The herbal bath was decent, but it made me even hotter because of the already high temperature, which was quite uncomfortable."

The restaurant downstairs was incredibly popular for dinner; we couldn't get a table just by walking in – you need to book a day in advance, so we missed out on eating there. "The room's soundproofing was quite poor in the morning; several people were shouting. The service, however, was pretty good. When returning the room key in the morning, the receptionist took it with one hand. I've been traveling since August and have stayed at Huazhu, Home Inn, Jinjiang, and Dongcheng hotels. This is the only place where they took the key with one hand when returning it 😂. It's a small detail, and I don't usually give bad reviews, so I hope your training can be more thorough!"

Facilities: The whole house is smart home, which is very convenient, and the smart toilet is also very comfortable. Service: The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The meat buns, millet porridge, and yogurt pancakes were all incredibly tasty. You can also order à la carte for lunch and dinner; I tried the blood sausage, milk tea, and cold oat noodles, and they were all excellent. Excellent yurt accommodation! 👍 It caters to the mid-to-high-end market, so it's a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. I took an early morning stroll around the village and found that among the various options, Huiteng Muguo has a superior location, larger grounds, and cleaner rooms. The family rooms are on the second floor, directly above their own restaurant on the first floor, giving it a cozy, homely feel. The proprietress is a thoughtful person who really values guest experience; she's not one for many words, but she's very attentive – you can try to spot her when you arrive! 😊 There's a bonfire party at 9 PM which is great for bringing people together. My only slight regret is that the village is too brightly lit, with dazzling lights and lots of activity, making it impossible to see the stars as I had hoped.

After looking at several guesthouses and yurts, we finally chose Xingchen Mujia, right next to Huahai Ranch. I was worried my child wouldn't be used to staying in a yurt, so I picked a grassland accommodation with standard rooms, and the environment was very clean. Also, I saw in the reviews that their roast lamb chops were good, and the set menu offered decent value for money on the grasslands. We tried the lamb chops, and they were indeed excellent; our whole family was practically fighting over them! The owners are also very welcoming and friendly. They thoughtfully advised us on what to look out for when dealing with local drivers. The male owner is very talkative and can share many stories about the grasslands. Just a few hundred meters walk from the accommodation, there's a grassland high point where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. We took many beautiful photos there.

Specifically brought the kids here for Children's Day. The guesthouse environment is great, with a starry sky yurt and convenient parking. They even prepared snacks and drinks in the room. The surrounding area is beautiful and very close to the volcano attractions. The hotel also provided discount vouchers for hot spring tickets. Dining is convenient, and breakfast is excellent, with kids' meals available. On weekend evenings, they even arranged a bonfire and fireworks.

The hotel's location is great, very close to the train station. They have a laundry room, a gym, and a small play area for kids. It's not huge, but you can play ping-pong there, which is fun! The lobby also has a piano you can play, which is a nice touch and good for passing the time. When we checked in, we were given two complimentary drinks and a bag of snacks. We munched on them, and they were really delicious! The room was clean, the bed was large, and the view from the window was lovely, with a distant tower visible. Too bad I didn't take any photos. The only issue I found was a slight smell in the shower area, possibly from the drain. When you flushed, it seemed to bring up an odor. But it's not a big deal; the room itself was still very good and clean. The downstairs restaurant was also tasty. Oh, and in the laundry room, there's a machine specifically for washing shoes! We'd been walking in the grasslands for days and our shoes were quite dirty. We thought about washing them but were worried they wouldn't dry in time, so we decided against it. We'll definitely try it next time we have the chance!

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel was easy to find, with convenient parking nearby, and really close to the attractions. The room was spotless and tidy, the bedding was comfy, and all the facilities were great. The overall environment was very quiet. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. It offers excellent value for money, and I had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend it, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!

The yurt-type B&B we stayed in did not have air conditioning, so we relied on the hot kang for heating at night. In a place like Ulanqab, it was too cold at night to take a shower. When we woke up in the morning, there was suddenly no water. It was said that the water supply system was broken. It was repaired, but we had other itineraries and couldn't wait for repairs. In the end, we had to spend money to buy mineral water to wash up. It was a very embarrassing accommodation experience.

Location: Very close to Huanghuagou Scenic Area, and a free admission ticket is included with your stay. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was so-so. Upon entering the room, I saw a long hair on the tea table, and there was a handwritten label on the bath towel – a bit odd. Service: The staff's service attitude was okay, but they were a bit overwhelmed with customers, and check-in was a bit slow. Facilities: I briefly set up the air conditioning for heating, but it wouldn't turn on; I'm not sure if it was a settings issue. The room phone wasn't connected; I had to find the number online to contact the front desk. There was no welcome gift upon departure, but they gave me one when I asked if I could take the toiletries kit. Overall, my experience at this Ji Hotel was just average; the details weren't great. I chose this hotel because of its location and the free admission ticket.

The room was fairly comfortable and the service was really great. But we kept finding little beetles in our room which made me so itchy at night when sleeping. Also I don’t think they cleaned the floor because we found fake eyelashes and old contact lens on the bathroom floor which was very nasty. They have a washing machine available which was very convenient especially after spending a day in the volcanoes where it’s dusty and all our clothes were dirty. Breakfast was alright…typical inner Mongolian breakfast, nothing special. There’s actually no volcano view but it didn’t really matter much. We were on the second floor and it was nice to be up there. I wish they had better soundproofing windows because every night there’s fireworks and they were so loud and went on until midnight. With a young child, it was impossible to sleep early. Overall, the service was really great!
