"A very comfortable stay! It's just a 3-minute walk from the station, and from the moment we stepped in, the staff took wonderful care of us. Dinner in the room was delicious, and the private onsen, which doesn't require a reservation, was absolutely perfect – much more comfortable than the public baths. We made sure to use it as many times as we could. If any friends come to Kinosaki Onsen, I'll definitely recommend they stay here!"

"I'm definitely coming back. It's the best. The surrounding commercial area has declined a bit, but it's close to the station, very quiet, and only locals are there. The Japanese people are super friendly. The cleaning is perfect, and the breakfast is delicious. My friend and I were so busy devouring breakfast that we didn't have time to think about it. It was a happy morning. The view is great, and ice water, tea, and coffee are all free. Manga books are free, and using the washing machine is also free. The hot spring is small but nice. There is a wide variety of shampoos and conditioners to choose from, and there are various types of hair dryers, including Dyson ones. In particular, there are two massage chairs, and they are amazing. I want to take the massage chairs with me when I go back to Korea. I love you, Green Morris. Next time, I'll come with my husband, whom I left at home!"

"This is my second time staying at this hot spring hotel. I feel just as comfortable and relaxed. The food portions are big and tasty. The environment is my favorite. I will choose this hotel again when I go to Kinosaki."

"The modern Japanese interior particularly caught my eye. I was so intrigued by the inn that I almost forgot to think about the lack of parking. The Myanmarese staff were very attentive and welcoming. There were many small, thoughtful touches, such as welcome tea, a small bottle of tea for after your bath, and a rain doll at the door of your room. Kinosaki Onsen is famous for its outdoor baths, but it also has an indoor bath, and it was convenient to be able to rent two baths for private use. Both dinner and breakfast were uniquely presented. The seasoning was just right, and we ate everything without leaving any leftovers. August 18th was my husband's birthday, so we decided to go a little further away and visit for the first time in 10 years, but next time I'll probably go to Kinosaki to stay at this inn."

"It was the best inn in every respect! It is run by a family and is a small inn as the name suggests, so the service was excellent and we were very satisfied with the inn. I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Kinosaki Onsen. - It is close to the station and on the main road, so it is very accessible. (There is also a convenience store nearby) - The inn is new and seems to have been designed by an architect, so the space is stylish and clean, and the rooms are spacious and relaxing. - The main river can be seen from the window of the room, so the view is great. - We chose a plan that only included breakfast, but there are many good shops in Kinosaki Onsen, so we were able to enjoy local beer nearby, which was great for us. - The breakfast was very delicious and the volume was just right, so we were very satisfied. - Yukata, geta, basket bag, bath towels and face towels to use in the outdoor baths were available in the room. - Toothbrushes, skin care products (I was able to use it even though I have extremely sensitive skin), cleansing products and face washes were also available. ・They kindly stored my luggage for me before check-in and after check-in. I'll use this service again the next time I come to Kinosaki. Thank you for your help!"

"The location was right in front of the station, so I liked it. However, it's far from the hot spring center, so it may vary depending on the person's preference. I stayed on the 3rd floor, but it's an old building, so there's no elevator and the stairs are a bit high. The 1st floor is operated as a cafe, and the breakfast was okay. The room has a tatami floor. The mattress? It was too soft, so I was a bit uncomfortable. There's no bathroom in the room because it's a hot spring. There's only a toilet. It would be nice to have a shared bathroom for the entire hotel, but there isn't. You can't wash if you don't go to the hot spring. I didn't know that and went there, so it was a total disaster... I didn't plan on going to the hot spring in the morning... You have to bring your yukata up from the 2nd floor. The room is spacious."

"对不是日本人完全不友善的酒店 Not foreigner ( Western & Asian) friendly. We travelled around 70 Roykan in the last 3 years and this is the wrost service we ever had. Japanese get to seat and offered juices when they checked in while we have to stand at the front desk and no juice offered. We asked for the yukata rental (free rental) and the young staff just ignore us twice. We asked for sizes a few times then he just said it’s all here. Then when we picking the only two small sizes he grabbed and give it to the Japanese girl and ignore us or never ask us before he took it as he knows we are looking into those. Very rude. Most of ryokan will bring you to the room or assist to bring luggage or already put in the room for you. This one you do everything yourself after check in. When we get into the hotel room it’s hot as no aircon is on. Then air con is broken so we called reception. With their broken English they insisted I don’t know how to turn on the aircon which I told them the air con is broken, after 15mins on the phone showing me how to on I keep telling them to send the staff up as we are so hot in the room as it’s summer and no window open and no fan was on after moving luggage. They came up and fix the air con for 45mins then told us it’s broken and need to change room. The whole hour we were sweating but no offer of water / drinks or anything and we just stand in the room while they fixing. When they decided the room need to be changed, they asked us to wait downstairs but leave the luggage in the room so we thought they will move luggage to the new room but they did not. Staff see us so hot at lobby didn’t tell us there is free drinking machine that we can get ice juices , they just watch us hot and sweat and not saying a word. When the new room is finished, they gave us the new room key and asked us to move the luggage ourself and return the old key. No help at all and wasted 1.5 hours of our onsen time. No apologies as well. I feel like being treated like a trash. Not enjoyable at all. I paid extra for the sea view room which when they change my room they offered a slightly bigger room but my sea view was mostly blocked (in the pic )which I am not so happy. There is amenities corner at the lobby, at night after the onsen we come back and want to take the lotion as early on it was gone and they didn’t replenish, the female staff have a bad attitude and flip her eyes ask us which room we stayed, we showed her the key and she said the cream is already in the room which her broken English. There is one set in the room but those are small one time pack which we finish after we had the onsen so we want to take another one. She was rude and insist we can’t take. Her attitude was so bad seems like we are stealing. There is an amenities cornor, if you not allowing guest to take please do not have this setup. Food is okay with the buffet. Wagyu beef is nice but they is a normal standard for Japanese onsen buffet nothing too special. Overall, with the price paying compare to other roykan in Japan, this hotel have very bad service to non Japanese. There is also nothing special for this onsen. Probably best to try somewhere else."

"This hotel is wonderfully located in a quiet and secluded spot. The staff are friendly and helpful with everything. We had a room with a garden view, a waterfall, and direct access to the garden. Special thanks for that! Regarding the food: If you choose breakfast and dinner, note that dinner service is 2 hours long, and breakfast is 1 hour. Keep this in mind when planning your day. The meals are served in classic Japanese style at the hotel restaurant. Food is served in courses, and everything is fresh and delicious. There's a lot of food – in fact, it was almost too much for me. Dinner, especially, offers an enormous amount of food: fish, crab, appetizers, and so on. The hotel staff, particularly Kunvar Niruta from Nepal, assisted us with everything, including explaining how to properly eat the various dishes. For the onsens: there are private baths with fruits and flowers, which can be booked once a day for 40 minutes. There are also other private baths with unlimited usage time, and public baths available. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to the station. Everything about the hotel is good: it's beautiful, cozy, interesting, and authentic. The only minor inconvenience was the short faucet in the bathroom sink, which was quite awkward. Otherwise, everything was excellent."

"Really amazing place! Close to kinosaki by car but you will need a car to get here. A quiet nighttime with great staff on an original tatami. Would recommend and stay again 10/10!"
