"We came here for just under a week to finish our longer trip to Croatia and relax. Here’s my honest review having stayed at other places within the country: Good: - Newly refurbished and it genuinely beautiful inside and out. Top quality decor, spacious and has a top class feel - Secluded area away from the very very busy beach below - We were able to check out 1.5hrs later - Super comfy beds and spacious shower with great sea views - Great gym kit Not so good: - The hotel room doors slam shut so loud it rocks the hotel. No exaggerating, it’ll wake you up in the late night and early morning hours from others down the hall - Quality of food isn’t great and severely overpriced - I was even CHARGED for some mayonnaise on the side of my already paid main meal… can you believe the cheek? I was really shocked at this. - I also paid well over 20€ for a pasta dish which came out within minutes of ordering, cold. The staff didn’t mind. It was also just 4 pieces of ravioli - In general, the staff seem very unprepared and unbothered by anything. During my whole stay I can say that the only friendly and attentive staff member we met was a short lady with a black/dark hair pony tail sometimes at the bar by the pool in the afternoon (amazing). She worked hard when on shift and didn’t sit around on her phone pretending to be busy. Other times we were faced with people saying ‘we’re too busy’ - You’ll find guests here reserving sun beds in the morning (which are already scarse) and not returning until the late afternoon. Staff don’t seem to care even though many other guests couldn’t use any - Kids (surprisingly) playing in the pool with toys. Again, not a relaxing vibe and staff don’t seem to care - I had glass in my feet on two occasions by the pool. Seemingly the floor isn’t sweeped daily - Charging to park your car when there is not any other option to easily get here is not a premium experience you expect from a hotel like this - Breakfast is too slow. You have to wait at your table to order from a menu, even though the food out the back is already prepared. - Many drinks advertised in the menu couldn’t be made due to missing simple ingredients. If you order food with missing ingredients, don’t expect to be told about it. You’ll just get what you’re given Overall, I’m not sure I would stay here again simply due to the service. It wasn’t what I was expecting for a premium price."

"Small family hotel with good comfort and in the best location... the hotel is on the car-free promenade... the reception by the two ladies at the front desk, Kathia and Daniela, was perfect... the two also see that the breakfast buffet is always perfectly set up ...The rooms are large and modern...Room service is provided during breakfast...Below the hotel there is a beautiful small bay...There are also sun loungers for the hotel guests...I can only recommend this hotel"
