"I booked this hotel on the basis of high ratings and customer satisfaction on various travel portals. And they were spot on. Located within two minutes of the soup, downtown and maybe 5 minutes from the beach, it is very convenient. Check in was smooth. The room was clean and comfortable. Yes, the neon lights in the room may not be to everyone's taste but then, that seems to be quite the norm in many properties of this category in Lebanon. The staff is extremely kind and helpful . Mr Etien did an extraordinary job of helping me out with my booking which Agoda had messed up. Conversing in perfect English, Mr Etien ensured that I appreciated his city and enjoyed my vacation. The breakfast room is on the top floor with a magnificent view of the castle ruins and the sea. Eggs to order are a thoughtful feature. My omelette with haloumi was delicious. The breakfast selection for this category of hotel is ample. Checkout was smooth. I warmly recommend this property."

"Although the hotel was clean, with friendly staff and good breakfast, we had a very annoying experience whereby we booked the dinner at their restaurant, the Gastronome for 4 people, 1 day prior to our arrival. However, only 5 minutes before we joined our friends for dinner, we were surprised by a phone call from the reception, stating that there is a private reception at that restaurant with a certain Club, and that our booking was cancelled at the Gastronome. This incident is really disrespectful for a client and has never occurred to us throughout our life, neither in Lebanon or wherever we traveled throughout the world."

The hotel offers a lovely viewespecially if you book a higher floor. "Great place, for sure the best during our stay in Lebanon. Room and bathroom are big and very comfortable. Linens and towels were new. However, hotel is not very close to the old town and breakfast is very limited. It is full of international tour groups."
