"Το δωμάτιο μας ήταν στην πραγματικότητα σε μια βεράντα με δύο υπνοδωμάτια, δύο καρέκλες και ένα τραπέζι με μια ομπρέλα, από την οποία θα μπορούσες να δεις μια γοητευτική θέα του Castro Marina, μια θάλασσα πράσινων νερού με μαργαρίνη. Το ιστορικό κέντρο είναι εύκολο να περπατήσει και να περάσει ήσυχη μέρα ή βράδυ στα δωμάτια.Το ξενοδοχείο διαχειρίζεται ο κ. Luigi, πολύ προσεκτικά με όλες τις λεπτομέρειες. Το πρωινό στάθηκε σε ένα κομψό βεράντα με πάντα μια θέα στο υπέροχο Castro Marina. Το πρωινό τρώμε το σαλεντίνο, πολύ καλό!! Τα ποτήρια με το λογότυπο του ξενοδοχείου είναι πραγματικά κομψά. Η εμπειρία που θα έκανα για να περάσω μια χαλαρή διακοπές."

Το πρωί, πήγα στη γειτονική χώρα για να πάρω τα τυρί και τη Νουτέλα για πρωινό. Επιπλέον, ο λόγος ποιότητας-τιμής είναι εξαιρετικός: η δομή προσφέρει άνεση και πραγματική φιλοξενία σε πραγματικά ανταγωνιστικές τιμές για την περιοχή."

"This is a lovely, family run hotel in a stunning location. The hotel itself is simple and comfortable with a warm staff team for whom nothing is too much trouble. Steep stone steps take you down to the sea to swim in deep, clear waters. Above the hotel, the lovely town of Castro - home to the original temple of Athena - has a beautiful square, small bars and restaurants. Don't go expecting glitzy chain hotel sophistication but if you want a perfect spot to swim (in the sea or the salt water swimming pool), read under the pines and relax you could not imagine anything nicer. Thank you Alessandra, Gemma, Maria - we will return."

"Casa Di Giordy deserves well beyond a 10/10. We stayed for four nights and truly wished we could have stayed longer. The owners, Assunta and Rosario, made Giordy’s feel like home from the very beginning. They were incredibly accommodating — on our first night, when we missed the last bus to the house, they kindly offered to pick us up from the train station. Each morning, we were greeted warmly by Assunta and Rosario with smiles and a bountiful breakfast spread. We were spoiled for choice: cakes, crumbles, biscuits, juices, coffee, tea, cereals, and more — with extra food offered to take on our day trips. Our room was spacious, beautiful, and homely, always kept spotless by Assunta herself with fresh towels and a clean, inviting scent. The balcony offered stunning views, and the air conditioning was perfect for the summer heat. The facilities were generous and well thought out, making our stay as comfortable as possible. As visitors from Australia, we had plenty of questions, and Assunta and Rosario went above and beyond to help us. They assisted us in renting a scooter, helped us get around when we didn’t have transport, and Rosario even drove us to our next accommodation in Otranto — taking the time to stop at scenic spots along the way so we could enjoy the views. We cannot thank Assunta and Rosario enough for their generosity, kindness, and genuine care. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. Casa Di Giordy isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a place where you feel truly welcomed and cared for. We will absolutely be back — and we already miss you both!"
