Ibis Styles Chaumont Centre Gare ★★★

"We wanted to have two overnight stops on our way from Calais to the Cote d'Azur. After some research we chose this hotel. Chaumont proved to be a delightful stopover. The Ibis Styles is very central and most importantly (to us at least) offers secure parking. Our room was comfortable, with a window opening onto a pedestrian street below. It was quiet. The included breakfast the following morning was very generous. Cereal, cheese and cold meat, lots of baked goods and coffee and juice ad lib. A good way to fuel up before we continued south."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We booked this hotel to break a journey from the south of France back to the UK as part of our motorbike tour. We were welcomed to the hotel by a very polite lady who made us feel welcome (even though our French wasn’t too good!). The hotel was spotlessly clean. Attention to detail at every level. The room was just what was needed with a good shower and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty and catered for every requirement. We weren’t feeling particularly hungry after we arrived, however the menu looked good and plenty of people were eating in the outdoor area. Definitely would have spent another night or two here had we been in the area longer."

B&B Hotel Chaumont ★★★

"Good stopover location being 15mins from motorway. Standard B&B hotel with restaurant attached, although menu not too kid friendly so we walked to Buffalo Grill and had a good meal. Arrived on a very warm April evening but no airconditioning although listed on website....apparently it was still winter! Family room with bunkbeds and reasonable sized bathroom, no noise from hotel or roads that surround 2 sides. Free parking a bonus."

"We thoroughly recommend this family run hotel. A husband and wife team run the business, The wife spoke very good English. The room was a good size and with a spacious shower in the en suite. Tea, coffee and kettle provided. The bed was very comfortable. Our room overlooked the hotel carpark. Our stay was finished off with a plentiful breakfast. We would go back."
