As we drove up from the city, the urban hustle and bustle slowly faded, replaced by lush greenery and the sound of pine trees swaying in the wind. 🌄 **The Rooftop is Pure Soul:** I was absolutely stunned the moment I stepped onto the rooftop – the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stood behind me like a majestic screen, with the entire Erhai Lake and scattered Bai ethnic villages stretching out below. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were faintly visible. In the morning, drawing back the curtains revealed a sea of rolling clouds. In the evening, I'd sit on the swing chair on the terrace, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake a honeyed gold 🍯. At night, a glance upwards showed the Milky Way so clearly it brought tears to my eyes ✨. 🌿 **Immersive Mountain Living:** Hydrangeas were in full bloom in the courtyard, and dappled sunlight filtered through the treetops onto the wooden floors. The natural wood-toned room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making it feel like sleeping right in the forest 🌲. There were also three resident cats, each with their own unique personality, taking turns on patrol. Heartwarming Service but Disappointing Room Layout & Location 1. Amazing Staff Support: • As foreigners without Chinese phone numbers, we couldn't rent the ”Snoopy” electric cars. The staff went above and beyond, using their own accounts to scan, pay, and even remotely lock/unlock the cars for us throughout the day. They even handled the return process when there were technical issues. • Flexible Service: They were kind enough to serve breakfast at 8:00 AM (30 minutes earlier than scheduled) to accommodate our early plans. ＞＞＞ The staff here are the biggest plus. They were incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic, and supported us throughout our stay in Dali. Whether it was helping with our heavy luggage or providing local recommendations, their hospitality was genuine and much appreciated. 2. Room Layout: Not as Expected We booked a ”2-bedroom suite,” but it was actually two separate rooms with private entrances and no shared indoor area. The second room was extremely small; with two large suitcases open, there was almost no space to move. The photos on the listing were quite misleading regarding this separate layout. 3. Location & Accessibility The homestay is in a quiet, isolated area with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. You have to take a taxi for everything (5–30 mins to major attractions), which adds significant costs to your trip. ===＞ While the people here are wonderful, the high price doesn't quite match the room's convenience and location. Best suited for those who don't mind taking taxis and want a quiet stay.

This homestay is definitely the best choice for my trip to Dali! The environment is quiet and elegant, the courtyard design is full of ingenuity, and the boss's intentions are all in the grass and wood. The location of the homestay is quiet, parking is super convenient, and there is no need to worry about self-driving. The most surprising thing is the quiet atmosphere here, there is no noise, and the night is accompanied by the breeze to sleep, which is particularly comfortable. The room details are even more perfect! Smart toilet, soft and comfortable shower, high-quality spare parts, everywhere reflect the care for the needs of the guests. The whole homestay is spotless from the corridor to the guest rooms, and this meticulousness is touching. The boss is warm and caring, warm like a friend, and always gives the most authentic travel advice. If you come to Dali, don't miss this treasure homestay, believe me I will definitely want to come again after staying!

We loved our stay here. This place feels like such a relaxing retreat, it’s so peaceful , especially with the rooms looking into the beautiful courtyard. Loved the plants and the decor of this place. The rooms are big ans comfortable and there’s even a projector! The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us with some travel arrangements we were trying to make. Would recommend this place! Wish I could spend more time here just to relax.

The views are absolutely stunning! You don't need to rush for a good photo spot; just step out leisurely, and even backlit shots have an amazing vibe – any random spot on the roadside looks like a scene from a movie! Shared electric scooters are available right outside the hotel, and you can reach the South Gate of Dali Ancient City in just 10 minutes. Ride-sharing services make it super convenient to get to the Cangshan Cableway, the Erhai Lake shore, and Xizhou Ancient Town. 🌿 The hotel is newly opened, and the facilities are fantastic! The electric curtains, mini-bar, and smart toilet in the room are all super convenient to use. My favorite spot was the small balcony – just sitting there, enjoying the breeze, and relaxing was so blissful I didn't want to leave! 😃 🌿 The hotel breakfast is a buffet, and the spread of Chinese and Western options is incredibly rich. You can pile up on local 'erkuai' and rice noodles, plus there's fresh fruit and hot dishes. Eat your fill, then head out for more adventures! 🌊

The hotel is spotless and incredibly quiet and comfortable. The service was absolutely outstanding! Every staff member was dedicated and super friendly to guests. My child experienced altitude sickness for the first time in Yunnan, and the hotel immediately provided oxygen and even offered to accompany us to the doctor. The breakfast was delicious, and room service was very efficient. I highly, highly recommend this place. Before we left, they even gave a small gift to my child. Seriously, I can't recommend this quality hotel enough; it's truly trustworthy.

The front desk service was excellent; they proactively helped with my luggage as soon as I entered, despite there being steps. The facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast was delicious with extended hours. They even upgraded my room and granted a late checkout. The hotel's surroundings are very relaxing, with a small park right outside. Overall, it's quiet and not noisy at all, making for a very comfortable stay.

The afternoon tea and breakfast were both very impressive and lavish. I also received a room upgrade, which was spacious and very pleasant to stay in. It feels like the hotel is aiming for a 'wilderness luxury' vibe, and both the aesthetics and environment are spot on. There's a fantastic activity space in the hotel where you can practice calligraphy, which I personally loved. However, I do have a small suggestion: for a space dedicated to quiet contemplation like this, perhaps some rules regarding quietness are needed. For instance, whether young children are suitable to enter, or if they do, to maintain quietness. Otherwise, if it's noisy while someone is trying to practice calligraphy, it can somewhat impact the experience. I also want to specifically commend the driver who took me to the airport; their service was excellent. In fact, all the staff I encountered were quite dedicated, perhaps because it's a new opening, everyone is very serious about their work. As it's a new hotel, the cleanliness is currently very well maintained. However, with wooden structures like these rooms, future maintenance will be crucial. I hope it continues to be well-maintained, and I'll definitely be back! 😊

Extremely satisfied! We were on a self-driving trip with our child, so we drove slowly and didn't arrive until after 11 PM. The owner waited for us, helped us with our luggage, and even offered us an electric scooter to go out for food. The service was absolutely impeccable. Highly recommend!

This guesthouse is a hidden gem; it truly felt like a home away from home. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but even though it wasn't huge, it was incredibly cozy. The bedding was so comfortable – I hadn't slept well for several nights in other cities, but I slept wonderfully here. The entire room's decor, including the appliances, wood, and bedding, all felt very high-quality; you can tell the owner has excellent taste. When you check in, they create a group chat for communication, which is perfect for introverts like me. The breakfast was plentiful and on the lighter side, gently waking up your stomach before you dive into Yunnan's spicy cuisine. In the particularly sunny afternoons, you can come back and relax with afternoon tea. I expected just a simple tea, but it was surprisingly elaborate! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Dali.
