"The most delightful surprise was the room design and the view, definitely worth a visit. It's very quiet, perfect for a short break and relaxation; I highly recommend the panoramic room. During the day, lying in bed and enjoying the view without leaving the house feels like stepping into a Miyazaki animation. There's water nearby, and it's indescribably beautiful in the sunlight. We even saw people playing in the water and fishing, very relaxed and carefree. The room design is lovely; because the owner is Butterfly Mom, many decorations feature butterfly elements, beautiful without being tacky. I took some pictures and included them in the review. The loft is a tatami area, perfect for enjoying a drink and chatting, but there's no air conditioning, and it was too hot now, so we didn't go up much. However, it's beautiful when the sunlight streams in during the day; it would actually be more suitable for a cooler day. Both the owner and the manager were very polite and resolved any issues promptly and efficiently—very nice. Because the guesthouse's canteen was washed away by floods, meals were delivered from the village canteen, which was reasonably priced and tasted decent. It's best to have a car if you're staying here, as it's far from the city center and there aren't many shops nearby. It's best to bring your own cakes, bread, instant noodles, and drinks, as there aren't even any convenience stores nearby (which we hadn't anticipated). Shizhai isn't very developed, and perhaps because it was too hot when we visited, there weren't many people, making getting around and shopping quite inconvenient.
