"During our immersion in Dauin, we visited Liquid Dive Resort located at Washington Street, Dauin, Negros Oriental, Philippines. We had the chance to try their pizza, and it was a great experience. The pizza was freshly baked and served hot. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, while the toppings were flavorful and well-balanced. The cheese was rich and complemented the ingredients perfectly. The quality of the pizza made it enjoyable and worth trying. Aside from the delicious food, the resort offers a relaxing beachfront atmosphere that adds to the overall dining experience. "We loved Salaya Beach Houses. We stayed in the Clown Fish room for 5 nights at the end of December 2025. Our OceanJet ferry from Bohol was about an hour late. We had pre-arranged a pick up by the resort and when we arrived the representative was there wearing her Salaya uniform, holding a sign with our name. The van was nice and when we got in she handed us cool towels and water. Our first in-person impression was so good! It was an easy ~40 minute drive on December 26 afternoon to Salaya. When we arrived, they welcomed us with a welcome drink and seated us in the dining room for check in. We ordered lunch and actually I was feeling under the weather and appreciated it when they said we could fill out some of the docs later and let me go rest in the room. I slept early that evening and the next day I think at least 3-4 staff inquired about my health. Professional, Detailed We originally chose this hotel as we are vegan and knew we’d be eating most of our meals at the hotel. Months ago, when we were planning the trip I reached out to a few properties in the area to ask about food options and Narciso not only responded, but responded with a thorough, thoughtful, and detailed response. We knew we’d found the right place. Vegan and Vegetarian Cuisine Salaya has a whole separate vegan and vegetarian menu! Throughout our stay we enjoyed delicious curries, tofu, fresh vegetables and rice, sushi and oatmeal. We not only ate well but also healthy! Excursions We were so happy with the service, that we pre-planned all of our excursions through Salaya as well. They organized a day trip to Siquijor, a day at Casaroro Falls and Pulangbato Falls and a day snorkeling at Apo Island. We originally planned to go to the Twin Lakes as well but I was not feeling well so we had a rest day at the resort instead. The seamlessness and professionalism of each excursion was fantastic! We had a wonderful guide, Jesse who is on staff at Salaya and came with us each day and we also connected with a local guide on all 3 excursions. Jesse is so kind and made sure we were always comfortable. Salaya arranged and took care of every single logistic - transfers, local guides, local fees for photos/experiences. They packed freshly baked vegan blueberry or raspberry muffins, beverages and huge beautiful lunch spreads - vegan. We value personalized service and they even labeled the sauce bottles with what is/isn’t vegan. Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed each excursion. Special Celebration at Salaya My husband I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, so he organized a beachfront, candlelit dinner in one of their cabanas with a private server, Anne who was so kind, welcoming and attentive that evening and throughout our stay. We had a 3 course meal including vegan desserts. We were curious about her home - Mindanao as I’ve been wanting to go there and she told us about it. "we rented a condo @ vida homes. As a tenant there, you can use all facilities of the resort, such as restaurant, bars, dive resort, spa. the condo was perfect, big living room, dining table for four, kitchen equipped, one bedroom, two bathrooms. Dive base sea explorers was very well organized, the guide Kokoy did a great job, the management was always helpful. for me personally there was only one bad thing: the massage at the spa. the lady stretched my neck muscles very painful, I still have to go to treatment for this. But all others of our group were enjoying there massages."

" Five Stars go to the Pura Vida resort, and its superb dive center, Sea-Explorers. I stayed at Pura Vida for three days and immediately forgot about the mad and crazy world that we live in. The resort has beautifully manicured grounds with a very welcoming and friendly staff. It is a Beach Front property with a great chill feel to it. My room, Pygmy room, was a stone’s throw away from the sea, presenting a stunning view in the early morning and throughout the day. The dive center is well equipped, and very efficient. All the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A big shout out goes to, Erwin, who was my dive instructor. I completed my advanced open water dive certification in two days. Erwin was extremely thorough, conscientious, and safe. I always felt comfortable diving with him, and even though I have been diving for over 30 years, I ended up learning some valuable tips. If you are looking for a fabulous and relaxing resort with a competent and friendly dive instructor(Erwin), look no further than Pura Vida. Claude "

"We had an amazing day exploring the underwater world of Apo Island with exceptional Dive Master Alexe and the fantastic dive resort Team including the fabulous Shaun being super helpful for additional requests during our stay. We were made to feel super safe and comfortable with their high standard of facilities, good quality equipment, friendly, helpful and professional care, a most enjoyable, interactive, unique experience with the local marine life in the amazingly diverse out of this world coral reefs and thermal bubbles sand. We had 3 dives: Chapel, Rock point and Larghan, our dive master ensured our comfort and safety, with a respectful and calm, close interaction, offering amazing photo opportunities with the diverse marine life: Turtles, variety of fish including a giant Grouper, Spanish dancer and unique thermal bubbles rising from the sand. "Περάσαμε τρεις μέρες σ' αυτό το θέρετρο, έχουμε μίξη συναισθημάτων, θα ξεκινήσω με το καλό. Το προσωπικό ήταν εξαιρετικό και παρείχε μεγάλη υπηρεσία, προσφέροντας τα γεύματα μας στο δωμάτιό μας, στο κατάστρωμα της πισίνας ή στην τραπεζαρία. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν καθαρό, άνετο και κατάλληλα εφοδιασμένο. Υπάρχει μια μικρή ζεστή πισίνα που τροφοδοτείται από την άνοιξη και μια μεγάλη πισίνα αλατιού. Η αμφισβητούμενη: Αυτό είναι ένα παλαιότερο θέρετρο και δείχνει την ηλικία του. Εξωτερικά εκτεθειμένα, τα ηλεκτρικά καλώδια ήταν προφανή και αμφισβητούμενα (κατά τα πρότυπα των ΗΠΑ) μπέιτ και τα πλακάκια έσπασαν. Το κακό: οι γρασίδι είχαν σκουπίδια, μπουκάλια και κώλους τσιγάρων. Η κίνηση από τον κεντρικό αυτοκινητόδρομο στο θέρετρο ήταν τσιμέντο, εκτός από τα τελευταία 200 μέτρα. Πάλι, περισσότερο σκουπίδι που μειώνει την ποιότητα του θέρετρος. Αφού τα ειπώσαμε όλα αυτά, θα εξετάσουμε το ενδεχόμενο να μείνουμε εκεί στο μέλλον, κυρίως λόγω του προσωπικού."
