"The Aloft Detroit is a beautiful hotel! Everyone was so nice & very professional, so friendly and very helpful. They made you feel very special. It is in a great location, right across from Tiger Stadium & Ford Field, and only 1/2 mile from Little Caesars Arena. Lots of great restaurants withing walking distance. The rooms were very nice, exceptionally clean and the beds were so comfortable. Will absolutely be staying at the Aloft again!"

"I don't understand why the rooms are only cleaned every two days and the trash is only collected every two days. They said it's a Hilton policy, they even wrote it on the bathroom mirror, but there's no such rule. I travel all over the world, I've stayed in many Hiltons or Double Tree by Hiltons, and I've never seen such a rule. I paid for it but didn't receive adequate service. The parking fee is $55. The hotel should have its own parking lot or offer a discount for hotel guests. A hotel's parking fee shouldn't be more expensive than other options, but it is here. The parking lot right next door is cheaper. All hotels provide water in the room every day. At least, that's what I've seen so far. But here, no matter how many days you stay, they only provide water once."

"The location is excellent, right next to downtown and the river; easily accessible by foot or bus if you don't have a car. It's a rather old motel; the rooms have all the essentials, but everything is quite dated. Fortunately, the bathroom is quite new and clean. Dissatisfaction: The rooms are not soundproof! You can hear everything from the hallway and the next room."
