"I'd heard about Hongzhushan's century-old history for a while, and this time I finally got to experience it in-depth. First off, the location is superb, right next to Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Temple, which are key attractions in the lower Emei Mountain area. The complimentary shuttle service from the high-speed train station was also incredibly convenient. We stayed in a lake-view room facing east, so we could catch the fiery sunrise each morning. The room itself was well-maintained. In our free time, we enjoyed gazing at the beautiful lake and mountain scenery from our window, and a leisurely stroll along the forest path was a unique pleasure. In the evenings, relaxing in the hot springs, rich with negative ions, was an added bonus. The breakfast spread also featured many distinctive local dishes, which was quite unique. The hotel offers many special activities, and it's a shame we didn't get to try them all. Finally, I have to commend the hotel's service. It was incredibly attentive and responsible. My butler, though not initially requested, went out of his way to visit us, answering all our questions and recommending lots of useful information. The service was exceptionally thorough and truly enhanced our stay."

"This has been the highlight of our trip so far. We travelled from Australia to emeishan for the hike and views. We stayed 2 nights in May 2026. This small boutique hotel has been better than many 5 star offerings internationally and in our own home country for a fraction of the price. Absolutely breathtaking and serenelocation, the most beautiful views from the hotel room window, the restaurant. We woke up to splendid mountain views and birdsong and watched a rainstorm roll over the hills at night. Everything was comfortable and the service perfect, from the luxurious station pickup service to every single staff member at the hotel. The driver was one of the best in terms of service, driving skill, and calm and considerate navigation. The hotel makes contact before your arrival to arrange everything seamlessly. The room was perfectly comfortable , air conditioning and dehumidifier worked well. Everything clean and tidy. tV massive but honestly my eyes were glued to the outdoor view instead. The infinity pool wss picture perfect and a perfect temperature for summer. The attached restaurant was a delight, delicious, and with views worth every cent. We dined both nights during our stay. The hotel attendant paid special attention and gave us personal assistance explaining routes and options for emeishan hikes. She walked us to the booking station and explained many options for us. We were able to leave early as the hotel is literally right next to the Wuxianggang stop and were on one of the first buses up the mountain. I would recommend this to any friends and family and would visit again"

"The hotel is one of the few ones on Mount Emai. I had booked one of the panorama rooms. In the night I had to leave the window open as the room smelled as if somebody had smoked in there. But I loved the floor heating. It was very useful to dry sweaty shoes. Some of the panorama was great and lovely, but on the side an area with garbage could be seen. Hence an Instagram worthy booking, but only from the right angle. The staff does not speak much English. There were no notes that described the breakfast which made it impossible to eat anything but bread and mellon as a vegetarian. But despite all the downsides, I would still recommend the hotel, they offer tea and calligraphy. And staying there allows to be well rested when enjoying the sunrise over mount Emai."
